I started with Sheila the Kangaroo (who is now decorated with baubles for the festive season) & Lou the Merino Sheep. Have just ordered the wool to complete 12 of the patterns from the TOFT Sheep Magazine - It is my intention to make one a month next year. I’m not participating in any advents - have the Toft Father Christmas Doll & Donna the Christmas Reindeer kits, Corinne Lapierre’s 12 Days of Christmas Felt Decorations, Arnes & Carlos’ Christmas balls……. Plenty of projects to keep me busy. Excited to follow your December.

Yay! Vlogmas music always makes me happy ❤ When I first saw my box, I thought about how cool it would be to have a gradient yarn for the bird. But that would probably mean to have a hand dyed skein included and I don't think this will happen. But the box is - again - really super. The outside is not branded so it's possible to re-use it as a gift box for christmas or later if you remove the trays (keep them to yourself to organize the living room table or the desk). I'm definitely going to keep it, but not sure yet where/what I'll put in. I could also make a nice "project bag" for a piece you don't take around with you a lot. Just put the box beside the couch and have everything ready in there. Maybe Mark burnt the jumpers? 🤣 But iirc, you were also looking for the second one last year, so I see a pattern here..
I loved seeing all your other Advent creations from Toft, just lovely! I hope the hoover picked up all that you had out on the floor, how that likes to travel! I would love to do a Toft advent if they ship across the pond.

I am participating in the advent CAL though from mr.Knitbear and Dendennis, a rather famous Belgian/Dutch duo, where we are making a double knitted scarf. I only ripped back about 8 times already🤭, so maybe next year Christmas it will be finished.
What a fun start to the season! I have a yarn Advent from Stress Knits, an indie dyer in Detroit, Michigan, USA. I started opening them two days ago because I just couldn’t stand the suspense! Still only opening one a day though. I don’t know if I want to knit a cardigan, shawl or blanket, so I’m waiting to see what the yarn tells me 😊.

Working on my WESTKNITS MKAL…still. I have 2 advents this year, making up for last year which I did not do one. I decided to try an advent from one of my favorite stitch marker companies, Fripperies & Bibelots from the UK and a second is mystery advent from Woolens & Nosh in the US.

They live up in Montana where it gets really cold. And she's due mid december.
