Phony surface level collector of cars and watches that only buys ornaments and trinkets because of their aesthetic and prestige. You don’t know anything about what makes a car or a watch good, no technical knowledge, and no appreciation for any car older than 2007 unless it was one of your own. You’re no different than a Kardashian buying a Rolls Royce.

I realise that this might be a bit of a sour point, but are we EVER going to see the Senturion watch and the Senturion key on the Channel? As for the OP, truly that is the one I’d have, absolutely STUNNING! I have a friend who lets me borrow his OP Date 15210 (34mm, white dial, Roman numerals) from time to time, which is also very nice, but that OP is the best I’ve seen yet! Glad to hear the Daytona has gone off for a service, hopefully we’ll still occasionally see it on the main channel, it’s almost your signature piece at this point!
Great video for a stunning watch. I am also extremely fortunate to also own a OP41, however mine is the Turquoise Tiffany colour, a colour very much in demand but now discontinued. I also bought it at retail from Goldsmiths in 2021.
The Oyster Perpetual is supposed to be an entry level Rolex, but I would take this over any of their ceramic bezeled, over priced, impossible to obtain, steel sports watches any day of the week. This particular OP is beautifully proportioned and the lack of dial text and a date window enhances its appeal . It has all the Rolex DNA you would expect, but its subtle and comes without the shoutiness of a modern diver. This Oyster Perpetual looks timeless and just oozes class, imho.
The irony is that the OP41 is more over priced (grey market), and certainly from ADs anyway, more impossible to obtain than alot of other Rolex watches. That being said I do have name down for one at an AD. Hoping to get the Green dial, but I’m not too optimistic….

Congrats, Tim. I know you’re a big fan of preserving your cars, especially with things such as PPF. There are companies now making a PPF-like product for watches. Is that something you’d look into to protect your Daytona? I’ve been debating to do it myself.
Congrats Tim. I have collected wristwatches my entire life. I love the Swatch watches. I have over 100 Rolexes. Both new and vintages. Great investment too. I know you would love my collection.

Nice timepiece, only thing I don't like as much is the double hour markers at 3, 6 and 9. I'm rocking the submariner no date and love the thing, also purchased at retail so feeling very lucky as well. Deserved!
I concur with the misgiving about the double hour markers. And on a more general note, I hate that they never place even a luminescent dot at 12 o'clock (and 3 o'clock for the DJ). This should be done even in entry level luxury watches. This is why I'm more fond of much cheaper watches like those of the Seiko 5 lines, that give a bigger bang for the buck relative to cost.

Funny I've just came across this I bought a TAG which very similar to this a few months back, same face colour and everything Personally a TAG is much nicer imo but each to there own of course!
Congrats Tim. Perfect daily driver. Totally understandable move with the cost of Daytonas and the increase in crime related to watches. Main reason i wear my Apple Watch more than i wear my Speedy & Kermit these days.
I like the Air King and the Milgauss other than Rolex a Grand Seiko snowflake. Given you travel so much a Rolex Sky dweller or a GMT master II Would have been more appropriate.
Just thinking that you should look I to buying the whole series of Breitling Endurance Pro. They would go just so well with all your cars. Yellow for the GT BS, Orange for the Focus RS, Baby Blue for the AM... navy blue, black, red and white... They are confortable as daily, rubber wristband means no scratches in the car, and their carbon fiber reinforced frame is lightweight...

Yes, you got very lucky. My AD said they never even received the turquoise in 41mm.
