I’m so happy you covered this watch so well. The overhead shots as it’s laid down as you discuss “symmetry” looks very professional and frame the watch the right way. This is my first and only Rolex (the OP41 Black) and I’m not inhaling ‘copium' in saying it is my favorite all time Rolex…based on its elegant simplicity. A well done video. Thank you
I’ve had this model for a year and it’s been an absolute dream to wear everyday. Giving myself a pat on the back for choosing such a timeless piece. Understated, yet recognized by those in the know… exactly what I was hoping for in a first luxury timepiece. I’m excited for all the stories to come and hope to pass it down to my future son one day. The OP 41 is beautiful, respectable, sophisticated, masculine, and sleek - well done, Rolex.
I would choose this any day over Datejust with oyster and steel bezel. That’s basically the same watch with a date for a big premium. And for me the Datejust without jubilee or fluted bezel is a Datejust without it’s identity. They better call that an Oyster Perpetual Date instead of Datejust
It is a pity rolex do not allow the customer to have dial and bezel options like they used to. The current pastel dials in particular are very unattractive. Good to see they have finally discovered AR coatings and updated their lume to finally catch up with their rivals.
Hi, I bought the OP 39 with the rhodium dial and the baby blue pips back in 2016. I even declined the Explorer because I think the grey dial might be even more versatile than a black dial. Having said that I have to confess that I would have bought the black dial version introduced a year later instead. And I still prefer the dial layout of the older OP. The double batons is a bit too much for my taste. Best wishes, Claus
My green dial OP36 is my favorite watch in my collection. It is everything I wanted in a Rolex and the only watch I've ever owned that is perfect (for me).
I got this in the bright blue (the dark blue, go figure) last year. Only had to wait a year… it’s a beautiful do anything go anywhere watch for sure. I tried a Wimbledon date just and it was far far too showy for me. Op is classy and timeless
Very simple design, nothing special I would want to say but really cool at the same time. The only problem for me is the cost and I won't even mention possibility of getting one... Very cool video and congrats on the channel!
I own the 2018 version of this watch, so slightly chunkier lugs. Love it. The feel is like a sports car on the wrist. This was my wedding watch. Also, I think the double batons are stunning (and the only Rolex with fully chamfered indices. The 39 doesn’t have them.)
I bought my 41mm OP w/ silver dial and yellow gold indices in March 2022 after they were announced at tail end of 2020. I did not want any other color. I dressed up and went to three local Rolex Dealers in December 2021…March 2022, one dealer called me and told me they had it and I had to pick up within 48hrs. I was there the next morning. No need to adjust for the date. Easy link extension on bracelet. Brand new movement with 70 hours. Solid Rolex Quality. Very low key. I wear it in Los Angeles ALL the time and not worried about being robbed. I was saving up for a used Submariner (going for $9k minimum on Chrono24 during pandemic)… But when I saw this, I needed it. It was also an awesome buying experience. I did a review as well on my channel: AlwaysFTW.
How can you get one when the dealer says no at an interview or we don't have any. Wanted one for getting through a really tragic tough time and not having a 50th birthday...and I dont think i can even get one sadly
It may be Boring but it is Boring done so well, you cant help but admire it. It keeps the Time & has good legibility, that's all I want in a watch otherwise I will buy a chap or a bracelet. Great Watch.
Hocam şuan rolexe gidip 36mm Tiffany almaya karar versem sizce ne zaman saati alabilirim? Uzun liste süreleri bu modellerde de geçerli mi? Bu arada çok güzel kanal bol şans diliyorum!!
@@thewatchloupe oh okay and I found a cheap alternative for that watch Which is Casio AQ-230A-2A2MQYDF would you recommend that watch? It's aluminium tho I don't know it's a good or bad thing. Thanks for your time
I love this watche,i worn an oyster perpetual airking 34mm with roman numerals, she is great, perfect acuracy but i want to change for the 41mm black whio give a better visibility for me because my eyes are not realy good, but of course they put me in damned waitlist,i think they will never sell me the watch...
I own an Omega Railmaster silver face on bracelet and it is an amazing watch. The symmetry is perfect. I think the OP would also be similarly amazing. The best simple Rolex hands down . No douchey/ wanky vibe just a simple watch done really well
The Rolex OP was a classic, is a classic and will remain a classic in the next 50 years. It is the perfect watch. There is every reason to get it, if it is in your price range. It's all the watch you'll ever need.
Cool watch, but not "multiple thousands of dollars cool." I mean, a basic Citizen or Orient automatic looks quite similar. I know, I know - they don't match the amazing craftsmanship, etc, etc. But they also don't cost $1000 to get serviced, and they tell the time almost as well 👍
Best Rolex, no gimmicks
This is the most boring, uninspired Rolex in the entire line.
It's like dating the ugly sister.
You should have just bought a Seico.

Completely agree, I want a classy, durable, simple watch that matches everything. It's my first luxury watch, too.
I bought this exact watch. In my opinion, it is the essence of Rolex, the only one you need - subtle, classy and perfection in its simple beauty.

I was blessed to purchase mine early 2024. Absolutely love it.
One of the best everyday watches available . Love mine too . Great video also abi :)
Fantastic choice, I really think the OP is timeless and works well in any occasion
This channel needs more attention! :). Kolay Gelsin
The “cheapest” Rolex and also the most beautiful.
For me, this is the most beautiful watch on the market. Perfectly beautiful in its simplicity 👌
The green op41 is my favorite Rolex

Agreed, but I wouldn't buy an OP or an explorer. That is dating the ugly sister!
Fully agree with you. I guess I'd said more or less the same in my DJ41 mint review on the channel.
Erk abi sana her kanalda destek.. One of the fantastic watch video. Great thanks..
Beautiful watch
Simple and elegant. ❤️
cheapest but coolest😎pure class
36mm op 36 black or blue=perfect imo.

I like the pastel dials

Superb video and I'm seriously considering purchasing this model next weekend.
Many thanks for sharing 👍
Glad I could help

Have one in blue, daily wearer and love it

This vs the Explorer 1 40mm? Is it worth it, I love the 'bright black' and the double batons with all lumed indices

love "no date" watches
Great video. I hope you reach the place you deserve with your global channel. You have much more interesting watches to show to global community.

Unfortunately you probably can't get 36mm tiffany from an authorised dealer. The wait list is way too long

Airking is a great watch too and there shouldn't be a large wait list for it IMO. Good luck anyways
My choice would be the 36mm datejust silver dial smooth bezel oyster bracelet 😊
So you like date window? Smooth bezel + oyster bracelet makes a DJ look like an OP with a date. OP 36 may be a cheaper solution for you too?
Im looking to purchase one for my 60th this year
I bought this exact watch for my own 60th. Just do it. 👍
An excellent video, again!
Thanks for your support 👍
It’s perfect. I love it. Enjoy it! It will probably run forever.

Yeah, by your logic dating the ugly sister would be less"douchey".
Why not just buy a Seico, that's much less douchey than your Omega!
The cheapest I’ve found is 16013 . For 4-5k
16013 is a great vintage DJ with enough gold accents.. A classic and yes you can find one in used market for 4-5k.
Superlative and a good one for me
Thanks my friend 😉

Cheap ? You serious ? 😂
I dont know why but theres something off with this watch. To me, looks like any watch ever, nothing special.
But great video mate, cheers!
Thanks Taner. Maybe the Explorer 1 is more interesting?
Can't deal with the small lume area on hands compared to hour markers ... yikes
Its beautiful but need at least a date on the watch
Double batons = lazy design
There are many options to buy better quality watches instead of this watch. There is no feature or design to buy this watch.
Thanks for your comment. Quality wise I think this one is hard to beat but design is of course subjective 👍
What do you suggest for the price of this watch?
The Rolex OP was a classic, is a classic and will remain a classic in the next 50 years. It is the perfect watch. There is every reason to get it, if it is in your price range. It's all the watch you'll ever need.

Rolex is an american measure of 'success'. Such a narrow and common thing. BUT rolex quality is there. No deny
