Agrigento Almond Blossom Festival

The Agrigento Almond Blossom Festival -- Sagra del Mandorlo Fiore -- is an annual, week-long event that takes place in late February or early March when the almond trees are in full bloom. It is both a celebration of world fraternity and of Sicilian gastronomy and provides a great opportunity to sample some of the region's most delicious delicacies and to learn about the importance of almonds in Sicilian cuisine.
We are Beth and Brian, “The Bees.” We are a couple of Americans that retired early in 2018 and moved to France to chill out and enjoy life. We travel a lot in France -- and throughout Europe -- and we love sharing our village life experiences and the hidden gems we discover in our travels.
