Paul Daniels Electric Chairs routine

Paul's famous routine,inspired I think by Slydini "Balls over head" trick but taken further, I can't recall who invented teh trick but anyway if you saw Magic Numbers recently you will have seen "Magician" Stephen Mulhern cock this up.

I had the electric chairs done to me by Paul Daniels himself when he toured and came to Hereford a few years ago. Hauled me up on stage for a couple of illusions. It was an honour to be chosen to be part of his act. A consumate professional and top class entertainer. He will be sorely missed. RIP Paul.

i use 2 watch this guy all the time when i was a kid,i always like this guy cause it wasnt just magic,he also threw comedy in also,the world will be a bit sadder now that paul is gone,r.i.p!!!!!!!!!!

This is just brilliant! Saw it live in august and it just reminded me how great it is! Ive seen other people perform this trick, but not half as good as Mr Daniels!

I've been told that by someone I know has seen him do this live before with any two chairs with any two guys it always works.

The idea goes back to David Devant but this particular idea can be found in Rikki Dunn's Zapped Chairs. The idea of the the Kleenex box is a beautiful touch by Paul and the showmanship of course is inimitably Pauls
