Michael Davis performance on Paul Daniels Magic Show. - บันเทิง
The best thing about this bit is imagining, just imagining, how many evenings Michael Davis spent alone in a garage juggling butter and letting it slap him on the face. Over. And over. And over.
butter? it was toast wasnt it?
@@JustplaY2011 Did you watch the whole video?
He almost certainly used something of roughly the same size and weight considering that he does it just as well with a less gross object like the bread.
@@AberrantAberrant I can't imagine that. Nothing is going to have the grip and slip of butter. It melts the more he touches it, it sticks to his fingers, etc.
"I can't believe it's butter!"
the interaction between the two seems so well planned and free at the same time
Is that his father? Hope your life is going well, pass it on.
Good, clean, old-fashioned family entertainment. I miss those days.
no need to miss it, you're watching it now for free!
2 things, first, you werent around those days, second, this is not clean.
@@WarlordX7 you don't even know how old this person is, and how is it not clean?
@@bubbajack9738 the butter and bread got literaly everywhere.......
All those violence in movies and sex on TV
This was great. Everyone can enjoy this type of humor.
The only thing TH-cam does right.
People were laughing so hard that they were coughing. Thats how you know its good!
Very funny. Paul Daniels’s show was really good old fashioned entertainment. Thanks. 👍
I like how he looks so incapable at the beginning but he's not!
He reveals a key here. "Complete and utter confidence in my ability is very important."
The "it's the same axe, I've replace the handle, and the head" joke was also used in Only Fools and Horses, almost a decade later.
That joke is as old as the hills!
Acient greece had this. Not an axe, but a boat
The Greeks also invented gayness
@@spicekid2582 Nah, that was God and it was considerably earlier than the Greeks.
I loved watching the Paul Daniels Magic Show as kid/teenager. It was essential viewing.
Somebody fixed the TH-cam recomend algorithm!!!!!
for some reason watching two grown men throw bread into an audience made my day
Dylaz Lonter [reborn] .....me too ! I’m gonna buy a loaf , just to throw the slices like frisbees ! Also the way the bread squashed to nothing !
@@sharonready5102 oml I forgot I commented this, thank you for bringing me back to this amazing video XD
It's Time
Only person I’ve ever seen make the sideways eating object thing work
The wat ?
@@xcoldbloom He means where he pretends to eat the scabbard.
I think this used to something called.. wait, wait. Oh! I remember! It's called talent!
Finally found something so beautifully funny ❤️
The smartest humor is always so dumb. Counts his fingers... I loved it
Watching the Paul Daniels show as a kid was fucking awesome. Now he’s considered a figure of fun in the culture, but at the time he was such a highly regarded magician worldwide, it meant British TV viewers were treated weekly by visits from the best visiting variety acts from across the globe.
He was the highest paid entertainer on the BBC at one point, and his show was the number one for a long time, with good reason. He was an amazing talent and comedian, and I for one missed that show when it went off.
To jest piękne 😍😂 gość jest niesamowity, oglądam już kolejny pokaz XD
Creativity on another level. Wow!
So which unlucky bastard had to clean the stage?
Well at least he gets a sandwich out of it all.
Decades ago, so i think the black one..
@@sge1Andy Is that meant to be funny?
@@res1492 I laughed
The one who applied for the job
BRILLIANT SHOWMAN! GREAT JUGGLER! A super act!
I'm not a big fan of playing with food (that's an euphemism) but I really like the fact that in the end M. Davis actually initiate to put the butter on the presentator's face, but didn't. I've got the feeling that nowadays, transgression make us laugh, even if it often becomes irrespect. I really love the fact that this was only suggested - so we could all understand what he was about to do. And finally P. Daniel put himself the butter on his face, and it still was very funny, like "I don't want you to be alone on this, let me do this dumb thing too" which is absurd in a way, but way more pleasant to see. (This is obviously my opinion, you may have yours.)
Madness. Love it.
Love it! *Applause*
Best guest act I've ever seen
Fantastic!!!
this is called a top level classical show.
Paul Daniels the best magician we ever had and the brilliant Michael Davis ! 👍🇬🇧👍🇺🇲
Thank you for this channel!
It's just great.
Brings back memories..
Brilliant
What a showman
He's so good and his humour hasn't aged one bit. Classic.
Wonderful.
Two Masters at work.
This was great!
I love his his sense of humour: Self irony
Fantastic act
What a great comedy! I laugh out loud.
Excellent
Can't wait until Ralph Fiennes plays this guy in a biopic
@Do Nut
Stollen is a traditional German bread, filled with nuts and dried fruit, and coated in a sugar glaze. It is typically eaten in and around the Christmas season.
Regardless what you think of my comment, it has very little to do with Stollen.
@Do Nut
Yes dear?
Really, Benedict Cumberbatch is a man of many talents!!
Thanks, OP. I enjoyed that, it was fun.
Thanks for a great laugh.. funny stuff and a lot of talent 😎🙏✝️
Why bring religion into it 🤔
Brilliant.
A thousand thumbs up.
Not seen this clip. I think Paul was like an over-joyed kid with this act .never seen him look so happy.
what a great host
wow, 87, year i was born. fuk im getting old. Juggling with eyes closed got me XD
He sounds exactly like Steve Martin.
Ben Morales looks like him too!
OOoh, love them both but never made that connection before. Same intonation but different level of crazy. :)
Great video! thumbs up!
12:22 ahh i see where the clicker idea came from
Hair line joke 😂 omg
What should i say,,all i can say
we miss this kinda man ,now a days
Danke! super!
Very good 🙂
Great entertainer !!!!
It was great
I loved Paul Daniels
I love Paul's entrances. They are so anti show biz. The cliche is that you race in after you are introduced. But after a pause... he just saunters in. He is GOLD
12:20 Plants vs Zombies
Unholy Scribe I laughed out loud. Love it😂
Nice
you would think the BBC would release the paul daniels series on DVD already.
gets chicken*
where do I put my finger
XDDDDD
Classic
amazing funny dead pan humor and a great act!
Hey Valdor , everything I do I do unto the Lord..so GOD BLESS YOU too😎🙏✝️
I would pay good money to see that live
Never saw that show, but host seemed a good sport
Molto bene grazie Evitaeterna. Medinio fancarulo.
This is genius. Many LOL moments.
damn, hes good guy which great entertainer.
Amazing!! An American that is actually FUNNY!!
Finally I found Kyle Eschen's idol.
He reminds me of Dennis in it’s always sunny in Philadelphia
5:27 That " eeyyyyy " was such a present day reference before its time.
5 years this year
:(
When entertainment was entertaining
I laughed out loud ... I don't usually do that for jugglers !!
He’s great!
i love this man so much hahahhahaha😂😂 but he made one mistake...😅 at the beginning in the introduction he said: but a Comic says Things funny. right is but a comedian says Things funny😊
missed opportunity to make a joke about juggling the sharp objects after his hands were covered in butter :p
I love dead pan and he is the uncle of deadpan... hilarious
this was funny :))))))
0:45 did he state the comedian saying the way around?
This was just 2 years after "Feed the world" Live Aid...
In other performances of this "food group" performance, Davis made a slightly off-colour joke about how he felt sorry for the (poor/hungry) jugglers in India. Some of his jokes in other performances were a bit more risque as they were aimed at a different audience, but he toned it down a bit for things like this and when he performed for the Queen.
He did that axe joke nine years before the UK got the Trigger's broom joke.
Funny good laughs
There is no school like old school Billy boiii
I like watching shows that are old and made a while ago n I'm only 15
For a REAL treat, look up Francis Brunn. Now THERE is some serious juggling talent.
12:16 LMAO the chicken
The Axe joke is quite philosophical . I think its called the ship of Theseus
It's very important, it's very import, it's very import, it's very important 😂
B I N G
the moment the ice cream ball hit his face it felt like a supervilliain origin scene on how he got his costume
Watch the David Letterman version. Very, very funny!
Just like chickens, that's an act that probably wouldn't fly today
in another performance, he said opposite " comic says funny things, but comedians says things funny"
Well you can hardly blame the man for stumbling on a joke, he's just a juggler after all.
