Nice videos man! i have ford focus mk 1 but i have problem with accelereation. when i press gas pedal fast, car strats shaking and wont accelerate fast. But if i press gas pedal slowly, car will accelerate slowly but without shaking. Dont you know what my problem is? By the way i changet spark plugs, ignition coil and cables to spark plugs, battery, fuel filter. Thank you
Hi mate, thanks so much for the nice comment, glad you like the videos :) I'm not 100% certain on the problem you have, but let's brake it down. If your plugs and coils are new, it's not going to be electrical. What happens when you accelerate slowly, is that a little fuel and a little air goes into your engine. When you accelerate fast, lots of air and fuel goes into your engine. So if the car shakes when you do it fast, either not enough air, or not enough fuel is going into the engine. For the air side: you may not be getting enough air, or too much air when you accelerate. You can check your air filter for dirt, check that your throttle body is clean, then make sure your Mass Air Flow Sensor is clean and working, and that you do not have any vacuum leaks, plus check that your Throttle Position Sensor is okay. For the fuel side: you may not be getting enough fuel. When you open up the gas pedal, your throttle body opens and lets in more air. When this happens, your engine sends more fuel to match the air, and this way give you bigger explosions/more acceleration. If the engine get's more air by you pressing the pedal hard, but it cannot supply more fuel, then you will get a bad combustion, which will seem like rough running. To make sure that you have enough fuel, check that all 4 of the injectors are fine (not blocked), and that your fuel pump is working fine. Your fuel system is really only a few things. Fuel pump, Fuel Lines, Fuel Filter, and Injectors. You already changed the fuel filter, and your fuel lines are open since the car is running, so really as far as the fuel system is concerned it can only be your fuel pump, or your fuel injectors. Again, I'm not 100% on your problem, but this is where I would look - fuel and air. Good luck :)
@@Horus_Works Thank you ❤️ i will definitely try to swap fuel pump. And one more thing. I think i have bad lambda probe. I tried to unplug it and problem stopped, but only as long as the engine is cold. When the engine warms up, the problem reappears. But my problems are unfortunately not over. Warm starts are okay bud cold starts are problem for my car. Car will start only when i am pressing gass pedal and when i release it, the car stops. If i were not student i could afford service, but as a student i can not. So really thank you for all your help. Do what you like. I really appreciate your content!
Very nice, look's easy, when somebody is working. Everything is possible if you really want to do-it. Next video please.👍👍
Thanks!
Como siempre, un gran trabajo. Ánimo

Hey mate. Is this the same engine as a 1988 ford courier, 2.6 petrol 4x4. I’m struggling to find any info on it. Cheers 🤙🏻
Hey Frank, the 2.6 engines are different unfortunately.
I cant believe what was in those fenders. I will be cleaning mine immediately!
You should!
your not going to inhale the fumes spraying that on your car vents when you use the A/C or heater ?
The fumes went away pretty quickly. No issues here :)
