Hello 👋 🫂 Ryan. That cosmo is really coming along good 👍 it's going to be better than new by the time you get it done..that's a mighty fantastic extremely good job fabricating the body panels..me and my brother both enjoyed it 👍 👏 😀 🙌 👌.
Spot welds don't look bad but I do have a recommendation. Get some tapered contact tips and shroud. Will help with the porosity and getting in the tight spaces. And just regular cleaning up the almost clogged one ya use now will keep my OCD from leaving another comment.. or two..
This Mazda is proving to be a real challenge for your fabrication/welding skills, However, I'm happy to see you're winning and the car is beginning to look whole again. Keep up the great work & Merry Christmas to everyone af YCR! 🎅🌲🎅
Always enjoy the Mazda Cosmo build.....and the BMWs......and the Datsun 280Z......and the, well all of them really. Thanks and have wonderfull holiday.🐞
I think you’re making great progress on this build, for what you started with.impressive as always, your talent just keeps shining through.just remember when it’s done, you will have one of a few that still exists.just keep on doing what you’re doing.be safe.great video 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Hey guys ADORE your tenasity and skills, love your channel!!! I wish you and your father (and of course the rest of you…) a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!!!! Greetings from the Netherlands, Henk.
When I first saw this car, and the amount of it missing, I wondered if it would ever get done, I thought that possibly you would find another to use parts from, but watching you carefully replace all the corroded sections piece by piece has been wonderful, its a labour of love, but when finished what an epic car, and a great advert for your business
Interesting to look at, not the best body work you can look at, but ok and moving along. A reasonable result with simple tools. Keep it up, it's fun to watch. Thanks
Does the laser cleaner only work on rust? asking because if it works on other stuff could it be used for cleaning the areas where you've welded saving having to wire brush, also I needed new tips and gas nozzle for my welder (clarke 270 te) and thought I'd try a tapered/conical gas shield nozzle, I find it much better for getting into tight paces/corners.
Influencers out there take note! No nonsense, no selfies, no pouting at the camera and definitely no twerking. Just lots of grinding, banging and lots of top class majestic fabrication work. 👍👍👍👍
Can anybody tell me (unless it's confidential information) exactly what welding kit the guys use? (Make, model, etc.) It seems to me that the right gear to have is whatever professionals put their trust in. They've got no time to faff about; they want dependable equipment that works on demand first time, every time. Something that's good enough to be taken for granted.
Why would the Owner bother to restore this Car being that it is so far gone? You can buy a Cosmos in perfect running condition for sub 60k UKPounds, there's a few advertised online at present. Rightfully the restoration of this basket case once finished, is not going to be cheap?
I don’t think anyone would complain with an hour long YCR episode. Longer the better
Amazing- from the skills, the camera work and editing, the music being so relaxing- just marvellous to watch. Thank you.
This series is as good as the Disaster Datsun. Love to watch and look forward to then next one.
This cosmo looks like it’s the job in the workshop nobody wants to touch except yourself! Its coming on majestically
The laser machine is insane the technology of today is mind blowing
Tha knows it's a reyt serious bit o' kit because even bl**dy Yorkshiremen put on piggin' safety glasses when usin' t' bastid! [😁]
and so is the price but yer it is amazing

Hmmm, we all know it's Sprout at Christmas!
I enjoy seeing these cars restored

Damn right. Just shows you can pretty much renovate anything. I binge watched the Suzuki jeep series and its pretty much the same deal there too.

Your videos now have a lot of on top talk, the old approach was better.
As always, you do nice metal work art.
Question: Do Chinese car shops use cheap Made in China tools🤣🤣🤣
Is that the sequel to Maid in Manhattan?
Workmanship still outstanding - music still sh1£e!
Sucks to be you. Music is perfect
