- This chocolate cake recipe is easy and simple to make and tastes delicious. I suggest to use a good quality cocoa powder because the cocoa powder you use will have an impact to the flavor of the cake. Adding coffee to the cake is optional but it enhances the chocolate flavor on it.

First of all , i would like to thank the owner of the awesome channel for the great recipies especially this one.
I have written down the ingredients and method.
Ingredients:
1 cup cake flour
1/3 cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
Sift all dry ingredients
Add then:
2 large eggs
1/2 cup full cream milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all ingredients together
Then add to the mix :
1/2 to 1 tsp coffee and 1/2 cup boiling water
1tbsp white vinegar
Mix all again
*Put cake mix in a pan and to the oven , temp 175 C for 40 minutes*.
For Frosting:
Turn stove on low heat and heat up 250 ml evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cocoa powder
1 tbsp plain flour
When proper thickness , turn heat off and add 40 g of salted/unsalted butter.
Phew...took me sometime to write down all ingredients and method , but there you go folks.

What is the exact measurement of a “cup” because her cups were huge😂
@@zakfrancis5352 she has not mentioned in the video how much a cup equals in grams.However , i have made this cake last week and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing , my own measurement of a cup was exactly 200 grams.

And I tried your recipe..I also made other recipes before but by Allah's grace and your recipe..my cake turned out really well this time and for the first time ever my father and mother both liked the cake..and my father said that it was perfect ..which was the best compliment ❤

This was the second recipe I’d tried for a chocolate cake and I must say, I’ve stuck to it since then. Everyone who’s eaten this cake has loved it so much. It has so many flavourful notes. I usually add coconut oil and that elevates the taste even more! Thank you so much for this recipe! It’s a godsend. 😄

Been using this recipe for years and its better than box cake. When i forget i have this video stored in a playlist that i always come back to.. you'd feel like a pro after you taste your work
I made this today and it was amazing! I just reduced the amount of sugar. I put 3/4 cup of sugar but still very sweet. If you don't like it very sweet I think just over half cup of sugar is enough for this recipe

Tried at least 10 different chocolate cake recipes and this is by far THE BEST!!!
MADE IT TWO TIMES ALREADY(without the chocolate sauce)!! I added melted butter instead of oil and reduced the amount of sugar to half a cup and it still came out super delicious and moist!! Also the perfect sweetness for me

Tasneem Baranwala the same as the oil in the video :) and I melted it to be the exact 1/4 amount as the oil
I was also thinking of melted butter because the veg we have here is King’s cooking veg oil and I don’t know if it’s the same they use for cake or they have an actual veg oil dey use for cake. I will try this out. Thank you so much.

@@anu1877 you can get evaporated milk in a can at the supermarket. It's condensed milk that they sometimes add to tea or coffee
@@anu1877 just don't mistake it for the usual condensed milk. Condensed milk is more dense and very sweet, you can identify it usually by the dessert imagery on the cans or bottles. Evaporated milk is also a little sweet but not as much as condensed milk, and it isn't very dense, it's consistence is like midway between milk and a very liquid sour cream

@@meerajamali3706no i dont, instead of making the sauce i make a simple chocolate ganache which is of dark chocolate and heavy cream.

If you appreciated this video, you may also want to know that Chocolate can get a bad rap because of all the added sugar it may contain. However, dark chocolate or raw cocoa nibs have 0-maybe 6 g of added sugar, if you’re buying 80-95% cocoa. Always check the ingredient label to see how much added sugar is present, and consider buying dark chocolate or raw cocoa nibs!

OMG 😲 I have to hand it to you, this cake is so scrumptious! When the icing seeps into the cake overnight it transforms into killer cake. If you can refrain from having some the day it's made? It will be twice as good. Everyone loved it, thanks sweet art of cake. 🌴 😎
P.s.This can also be done with 9" rounds cut in half.

I tried this and it’s really moist im so surprised
Instead of 1/2 cup cream and 1/4 cup oil I add 3/4 cup buttermilk. Not sure if it greatly affect the texture but my mini cocoa loaves always come out spongy and moist enough. My son loves’em! 🥰

Anne Oliveros ,In India we have aavin brand which is full cream milk :). But you can use normal milk for this recipe
