Hello! I just recently discovered your channel, and I will say I absolutely love it. You do an amazing job at the reviews, they have been super helpful. I want to start getting into music production and midi. I am learning how to use cakewalk by band lab and am using a windows laptop(in case those details matter for my next question) what would you suggest for for budget/beginner hardware that I could start with: headphones, midi controllers(I have been looking at the Arturia mini lab 3), audio interfaces. I have no idea what I’m doing but I would like some suggestions to help with looking for budget but decent stuff to begin learning with. Thank you for taking your time to read this and giving suggestions!
Hi. Thank you for watching my videos. The Arturia mini lab 3 is a great little midi keyboard. I'm also a fan of Novations midi keyboards (sweetwater.sjv.io/yqgXPB). Regarding an audio interface, the Universal Audio Volt One is a great entry level option (sweetwater.sjv.io/Dy0vZ5).
Any recommendations for a dedicated hobbyist? There's a lot of videos out for beginner or budget users but it's been a little hard finding a good source for dedicated hobbyists/intermediate home studios. I love recording covers and making my own music so I've slowly been expanding my equipment library. I have a focusrite 2i2, dabbling in ableton live and started out on a shure beta mic since my apartment bedroom isn't treated. Eventually I want to level up my mic and room treatment set-up. I don't have studio monitors and I've just been using my everyday jbl 770s but I'm looking for a better set of headphones. I've been playing guitar for over ten years and finally got my dream electric but I don't exactly know where to begin with vsts that are worth the price or even free. Making music is something I'm passionate about but I do it for my own enjoyment. I work a decent full-time job to fuel my passions and pay my bills lol. My budget is flexible. I want stuff that'll either last me forever or won't break the bank.
Hey, I have a question I want to build my OWN studio and I want an audio interface where I can plug in microphones and guitars but I also want an midi keyboard but I dont know if you can plug an midi keyboard in an normal audio interface, oh and What midi keyboard should I buy for drums and bass?
no they are not. in the focusrite 2i2 4th gen bundle the mic and headphones come at a very cheap price. but the headphones are uncomfortable as hell and the mic is shit, especially if you don’t have room treatment. I strongly suggest buying everything separately because buying crappy stuff at a low price is actually not a deal. I had to upgrade with better mic and headphones only a month after.
No they're not worth buying cos home recordists don't need monitor speakers. Two sets of studio quality headphones works just as well for mixing. Headphones are much cheaper and smaller
Great review
Dope content as usual
I appreciate it!

Hi. MIDI keyboard connects to your laptop or pc via USB, so your audio interface won’t be connecting to your midi in any way 🫡
@ so I can buy an usb hub and connect it to my iPad
@ and can I use an midi keyboard for bass?

You forget to count thé software studio one included which is about 200€... No?
The software included is only for 6 months… after that you pay a monthly subscription 😑
Who will help me with my own studio equipment
Do a give away
