    Thanks for the hands on review and for going beyond the marketing! Guessing you didn't try the guitar DI? Was wondering if the "Fender designed" input made any difference.

    Just a heads up, as you say it comes with 6 month plus but you can alse buy another 6 month for like 99eur and then you get another 6 month but the best thing is that by doing this the licence becomes a perpetual one, meaning you pay 99eur for a full version of studio one that you will own🙂

      That’s great info, thanks! Is that an official policy they advertised or did you find a loophole by accident? Thanks again for the message.

    I have already the UA Volt 2 and Apogee Boom interfaces for recording music from my computer (in loopback mode together with voicemeeter). Can you suggest an upgrade of these interfaces with excellent d/a and a/d conversion for my music recordings? Black Audio Lion revolution perhaps?

    Thanks for the detailed video! Do you know if the Mute button can mute the input instead of the main output? Does the device remember it's last state after you power off and on or does it always power with everything unmuted?

      Hey thanks for the great questions. I don't have the unit anymore, so firmware may be updated to change these things in the future. From what I recall, the MUTE button cannot be reassigned, the interface does remember it's last state when powered off and on again, and I believe it powers up however you left it, muted or unmuted, but I could be mistaken on this one.

    I really hate my presonus 98c. Only reason I won't try these. They really don't work well with universal drivers. It's such a pain

    NGL, I don't care about the iPad stuff. I only use it connected to a PC. Is it a showstopper for ipad use?

    So my brother…my question may sound basic or dumb however i am having trouble with it… SOOOO here goes!
    --
    I have the Presonus ES 4x4 4inputs and 4 outputs… the output to speakers is my trouble Sir. I have 4 speakers Sir, (2) 8 inch two way KRK for the kick side and (2) 5-inch 2way
    5-inch Spkrs for the highs and the 10 inch bass bin. I have no clue how to connect all 3 to my Quantum ES 4???
    Can I use a 1/4 Y-cable splitter to connect all 3 or is this impossible Sir?
    I see on the back of my Quantum ES 4 that it has 4 speaker outputs 1 thru 4 . Is it as simple as only L-R & L-R or can I use the Y-Splitter on each input allowing me to connect all 5 speakers 2 to the left side - 2 to the right side and in the middle my bass bin???? I’m quite confused as what to do Sir?

      Try plugging your mains into main out 1&2. Then a separate TRS to XLR cable from output 3 to the Sub.
      When monitoring, you can switch between mixes A or B, but you can also select A+B which should kick in the sub only when needed.

      @TheSamuelSoga 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Alternatively, use a 1/4 inch TRS to TRS or XLR Y-cable to merge outs 3/4 to a single input. That was your sub remains optional. You A/B/Y settings will be in Universal Control as well as Studio One

    So you're saying that i can't use direct monitoring while connected to an ipad?

    • @DcSoundOp
      @DcSoundOp  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It works if you've set it up before hand, you just cannot control the unit using the app if it's only connected to the iPad. Hopefully that makes sense?

    Good thing I don't buy these interfaces based on the "recyclability" of their packaging. The trash is a perfectly good place for that stuff.

    Sadly that company makes the same product in difference package. Its just AudioBox, with loopback, without direct mix knob.
