HUGE upgrade over the volt, and while I might miss the 45mpg on the highway on the gas, the power and space upgrade w/ 4wd WAY more then makes up for it and I already have a 7.2kw charger in the garage so hoping to maximize my ev milleage around town. Super impressed with it so far.

I would have loved to have seen at least a couple 2WD runs just to see how it hooks up and runs. If it hooked I would think it could knock something off the time.
@@brendanunderwood2542 Does that Jeep even have 4WD auto? I know the 4XE Rubicon has the full time Rock Trac 4WD system but I don't think the Sahara/High Altitude do.
Torque is reduced in 1st and 2nd gear when in 2WD mode. 4WD auto is required to get the most out of the engine when your wanting to do a 0 to 60 run or drag race. Car and driver has a good article they just posted on it and found out about the torque limit in 1st and 2nd when in 2wd.
I've been drag racing a fair amount, and watched a lot of it, I've never seen a cone right before the staging lights in the lane in my life, so don't feel weird about not knowing what that was for, I thought it was for them to signal that they didn't want anyone staging until it was moved. Also, you're awesome, so friendly. I saw a rebel flag plate in the staging and I thought this might go another way.
Awesome video. I was test driving a Rubicon 4xe last week and ended up next to a Camaro at the light. He took off as soon as the light changed but I pulled ahead laughing my ass off. I even had 2 other full grown adults in the Jeep.

Pretty impressive how far electric vehicles have come. Thanks to Tesla for making electric vehicles bad ass so now other manufacturers are playing catch up. The Wrangler 4xE is a sleeper.
Very impressive 💪 evidently there are some bolt-on 2.0L Wranglers with JB4’s running in the 13’s quarter mile and in the low 5 sec range 0-60. You’re almost there will nothing done to the 2.0L. Maybe a decent piggyback tuner (Racechip) and an AFE high-flow air filter would get you in t low 5’s or better? Not sure if the current piggyback tuners work for the 4Xe?
This is really cool. I’m looking forward to getting a 4xe. Currently driving a wrangler. Previously purchased a 2010 Camaro in 2010, loved that car but man… Jeep’s are way better :)
If you ever get the chance, Bandimere Speedway in Colorado is at 5,800 ft in altitude. You'll lose a lot less power relative to other naturally aspirated vehicles. Naturally aspirated engines loose 3% of their HP for every 1,000 ft, so at Bandimere they'll lose about 18%. Turbos lose a lot less, but take longer to spool up, and electric motors don't use oxygen so they don't lose any at all.

That is a great video to watch. I just sold my stock 2019 Challenger with a 6 cyl. It was fast off the line in sport mode. I really wish I had access to something like this to test it out. JEEP needs to make the DRIVERS SEAT able to go lower for tall people. I have a Rubicon and I’m 6’2” and with the plastic speaker housing right behind my head if I get rear ended IM DONE... If they don’t make the seat adjustable to go lower I wont be buying another one.😢👎🏽 Love it other than that. Lol

That Camaro should get his money back! 7.8 in the 1/8th for a Procharged LT is slow. A bone stock Mustang 5.0 10 speed auto will run that.
Helps if you know how to drive it and race. He obviously don't know how to race.
Love my 4xe Sahara. Have a little over 900 miles since getting it 6 weeks ago. I have spent less than 50 dollars in gas so far.

Your times are very consistent. That's the key in bracket racing. Go back on race night, when you have to dial in. That's where the real fun is!

If I don’t plug in. I get around 21
