    i tried this recipe and holy heaven it's too sweet even after i cut in half the sugar and it can't even stay stable (it goes watery) in non air-conditioned kitchen which is quite hot in hot climate country.

      Hi, yes american buttercream is the sweetest among the varieties of frosting. You can try italian or swiss, less sweeter. Thanks

      It's not stable, it just has more sugar and is firmer, for it to be stable it has to hold up in hot weather for long periods of time.

      Hindi nman po, pwede nyo po ito ref as long as sealed and airtight ang container, nasubukan ko 7 days na sa fridge, okay pa nman po.

    It looks to sweet! Hindi po ba puede bawasan ang powdered sugar? Kaso pag binawasan, for sure madaling matunaw ang result ng icing.

    Hello po,I try ko I tong recipe mo po,gagawin ko cyang cherry blossom ask lng po pag nalagay ko freezer yung na pipe na cherry blossom bago ilagay sa cake Hindi po ba cya mag runny?need ko kasi sya sa order Kong cake,nag worry ako Baka after mail ahah sa cake mag runny cya.Dan po ba the best ilagay sa freezer or fridge lng po?

      Hello po, pwede po ilagay sa ref, binabalot ko po sa cling wrap tapos nilalagay ko sa airtight container. Pag matigas po ilabas nyo lang sa room temp, 1 hour bago gamitin tapos mix nyo lang ulit. Dko po sya masyadong pinapatagal, 7 days po longest ko. Thanks

      Hi. Lagyan mopo ng shortening lalo nat lunch party. Kung wla ka po mabili sainyo, order ka po sa shopee ung crisco brand. Tested kc na mas stable ang buttercream pag my veg shortening.

      Hello, sorry I missed your comment. Yes, american buttercream tends to be too sweet. You may opt to use italian or swiss if you dont like it sweet. I recommend crisco brand for the vegetable shortening. Thanks

    Hey!! Wanna ask a question what's the reason behind my runny buttercream??
    I tried so many recipes your recipe as well but in this hot weather around 44 degree how to stable buttercream?? Did you make your buttercream in cool room? As my buttercream was so runny I put my buttercream in fridge then I've beaten it again but still it was runny and i was unable to pipe anything..
    One more thing plz tell me when we frost our cupcakes with buttercream then we should keep them in fridge or at room temperature?? Plz teply

      Hi, one reason behind a runny buttercream is that the butter is too soft. I usually make buttercream in am air conditioned room. You can add cream cheese or gelatin if it is too hot in your area. I usually put my cakes and cupcakes in the fridge (not freezer) after frosting. Thanks

      Hi, yes you are right, american buttercream is the sweetest among all buttercreams I've tried. You can add cream cheese to lessen the sweetness or try a different buttercream (italian meringue, swiss meringue, condensed, etc. ) pls check my videos, I have those. Thank you.

      Hi. Search mopo ung buttercream ni mhelchoice madiskarteng nanay. Buttercup po ginamit nya which is salted. Natry ko na po sya for bday cake. Super stable and tastes like icecream. Pumatok po sa mga customers ko. Pero try ko din ang ibang recipe. Kya follow ko din tong kay mam recel lalo nat very friendly sya at very responsive. Saka im sure magaling syang tutor.

      yes but buttercream is greasy, there is a chance that the fondat will slide. I suggest you use choco ganache as it is more sticky and stable. thanks
