Fantastic bitting on the key. No wonder the bitting, the pins and the extra work on the lock had Bill on the ropes for a while. Well picked in the end Bill. Excellent!!!!
I'm finding that undercut chambers with a sharp-edged spool give some of the best results, in terms of picking resistance. More and more challenge locks are showing up with that design and they usually take a lot more time to pick open.
Bill have you ever tried vibration attacks? Just attach a vibration motor from a playstation controller to a Bogota and a variable speed controller. Then over-set the pins to defeat serrations. Next, use the vibrating Bogota to rake them back to the shear line.
The easiest way I can think of to build the set-up you're describing, is by using a woman's vibrating "bullet" toy. (Just thinking outside the 'box' here) 😂😂 Remove the motor from the housing, leave the leads from the controller hooked up, & just attach it to the bogata. The variable speed controller would be perfect for adjusting the frequency too. 😎
nice file work on the key.... good job on picking the lock. Also if you have a way of getting ahold of Texas Jim Please tell him Happy Birthday.. thanks
Ah Ha that's what those hollow tube followers are for. Of course when you are just filming and not rehearsing sometimes those synapses just don't fire in the that part of the chemical storage.
Thanks for taking the time Bill! You might be encountering some crazy alien tech soon.
My grandfather designed that. He had a huge locks company in south Florida. You can still find them on doors every once in a while.

Nice work Kyle, and you too Bill! Glad to see the ratyoke survive! Dang thats a sweet pick!
5-pin core with deceptively cut key that looks like it's got more than 5 pins. Neat.
I love picking.
But watching Bill pick.. that’s like watching Dennis Taylor play snooker back in the day.
Sweeet.
Great pickin' Bill !!
That lock is probably to a college "dorn"room . . . .....ha ha ha 🤣😂🤣
might have learnt a lesson today: if raking brings no fault set/set, expect some crazy deep cuts in the key/reach for a deep hook...right?
Nice picking Bill as always.
I've only seen a couple of Dorn. Ever.
That Ratyoke was bending like a fly rod! Take it easy.
It is just a tool....😀 Yes, a very expensive, irreplaceable tool, but a tool nonetheless.
Wow, commercial pin's worked well. It was a tricky bugger. The undercuts done their job well. 🍺✌😎

Come to Wisconsin there are many people with that last name, but I've never seen the lock brand before.

Tricky lock excellent picking bill thanks for the video
Good Morning!
Maybe a hollow core follower would work better on removing the core from the bible. Good pickings!
Bill that was a pleasure to watch who ever put that together is sneaky...
Looking forward to seeing your work in the New year

That's a crappy way to ship a heavy cylindrical piece of metal.
to bad we dont have a way to express different levels of tensions. no reference points
