To program it after replacing the battery all you do is get in your car close the doors without locking the car, turn the key to the on position which is before cranking it to start the car and press the lock button, turn key off turn key to on press the lick button on the key fob. Do that 4 consecutive times and thats it. The correct battery is a CR1620.
