I just got the 2015 Honda Accord EX-L with 50K miles...I know, still nowhere close to breakin it in but she rides so smooth, really love my new Accord!
with the sport interior you also get, the sport black material, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear shifter, also, the door panels are lined with a pleather type material. I love my sport!
For whatever its worth, my wife and I just went to the KC auto show to shop for her a new car. We narrowed it down to Mazda6 Grand touring, Honda Accord Hybrid Touring, Lexus ES300h and Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. The Lexus and Lincoln were about 10K more than the other 2. Went to dealers and drove all 4. We narrowed down to Honda and Lincoln. She liked the Honda I liked the Lincoln. I really pushed going with the American car to support our economy. She did her researched and showed me the Honda is made with Union employees in Ohio and the Lincoln is made with non-union employees in Mexico. Were going with the Honda.
You picked a car based off who made it? Really? The phone you're using is Chinese. The clothes you're wearing probably aren't American either. Who the hell cares man lmao buy whatever car you want.
My whole body hurt after test driving this car. Every bump I saw coming, I had to brace myself. The stereos in Hondas still suck. On the positive side, when you sit in this car, everything inside does in fact exude quality. And the acceleration in the base model is very good compared to any other car in the class. I had no concerns about merging onto the highway. But the rough ride still, after all these years, keeps me from being a Honda guy. I would suggest to anyone that you test drive this car. The positives may outweigh the negatives for you.
@@Mrfix-iz4di Yes it has! The only problems I have had have to do with a couple of small design issues- I have accidentally bumped the exposed rear speakers from the trunk, and the cabin air filter is kind of a pain to change out. It's behind the glove box. Very minor stuff. The only repair that has been needed is new struts. Pretty typical. The car has been extremely reliable and I only have three payments left!
this may be one of them, but there are so many beyond stupid and pointless comments on this video. Honda's suck? cheap? not reliable??? Is that your incredibly biased opinion, toyota driver? Everything I've read for the last 15 years consistently places Honda AND Toyota as some of the most reliable cars money can buy. Idk why people feel the need to post senseless hate on a video review of a car. nothing better to do I suppose.
I am a Honda and Toyota owner. I have to say that toyota is more reliable, at least with their new models. For the 2015 accord there are a few issues. It vibrates at idle. Google it you will see how this issue pervades. There is also excessive wind and road noise on the hwy, which makes the long haul punishing. The powertrain, the chassis provide a little bit more fun than the Toyota, but overall the car still falls in the numb and slow category. I am not saying Honda cars are not reliable. Just Toyota is better put together.
Nan Xing I appreciate your input. Do you own the '15 Accord? which model? I wish the refreshed 2016 Accord didn't have the obnoxious chrome strip on the grille (similar to the '15 TLX), because I'm really hoping they got some of these kinks worked out and was waiting to see what the '16s updates were before buying a new car (or outgoing '15). Not thrilled on the exterior, but we don't know about powertrain, chassis, interior yet. Hondas have always had some road and wind noise on the highway, but I haven't read many complaints about it as being a big deal (Car and Driver, Motor Trend, Consumer Reports, Edmunds, etc.). I'd imagine it's much quieter than the often compared Mazda 6, which is said to have excessive noise 50mph+. That vibration is interesting; I'll look into it. As for the long haul.. I've been driving a 2000 Accord V6 with the Y pipe to the L/R mufflers completely broken, so I'm used to ridiculous noise lol. ANYTHING would be many decibels quieter than my car. I think that pipe got damaged in a fender bender a few years ago and finally rusted through. I should've patched it when I first heard anything, but figured it was just the 210k miles on the car being heard. My experience with the car has been pretty darn great overall, tho the transmission from 1st to 2nd isn't very smooth, which ended up being a common problem with the 2000 V6. But it keeps shifting and running, which is all I ask at now 214k miles. I know you're referring to Toyota's newer models, as I am with the Honda, but they're not out of the woods yet in my mind. I can recall (horrible pun) their string of recalls not too long ago. It's probably irrelevant, but it's there. They're both great cars. I agree that Toyotas seem to have slightly better reliability scores for their cars across the board than Honda, as both companies are generally in the top tier for reliability and quality. To me, the difference is so small that it could really depend on the individual car, if you get a perfect gem, or one with an issue here or there. The difference is also so small, that I'd go with what you admitted as being the more fun to drive car, and my preference in styling with the Accord. My only real concern with the Accord is the belt on the CVT. Their CVT is supposed to be one of the best available, but it does have it's issues. Again, hoping the '16 has some updates. I know the Mazda 6 is supposed to be fun to drive, but I've read it has slight lag off from the start (except the GT model with "sport mode". The Accord was .2 seconds faster 0-60, 92mph vs 88 in the 1/4 mile (both mostly due to not shifting with CVT), equal breaking distance, 2.5mph faster slalom, .01 g better skidpad. I know we're comparing Toyota/Honda, but I had those stats handy because I'm considering the 6 and Accord.. and because the Mazda is supposed to be the most fun to drive.. and while the Accord having equal-better stats may not = fun to drive, it may = performance.. and may put it in the top tier of it's class since Mazda was supposed to hold that spot. I've read and watched many reviews that said it was by no means a "numb and slow" car. I agree, Toyotas seem to have the least problems in the car world. But it's not like we're comparing Toyota and Chrysler lol. It's going to be a tough choice for me which car I buy. Toyotas just don't do much for me, unfortunately.
Matthew Maneri Mine is a 13 Accord LX. The vibration is for all 13-15 models with I4 engine. I mentioned 15 as Honda admits this problem with their 15 CR-V, which shares the same powertrain as 13-15 Accord. Never had a Mazda, so cant give any comment about it. Test driving them may be the best way to find out which suits you better. But if you decide to go with the Accord, make sure that noise and vibration is no big deal for you.
Nan Xing Noise won't be an issue, as I may be doing some sound deadening anyway for the stereo I plan to install. I'll be aware of the vibration though. I've also read about the CVT being sluggish when accelerating from about 5mph. I prefer the Accord's roomier interior to the 6, but obviously most people would prefer an automatic 6speed to the accord's CVT. Agreed, the test drive will be beneficial when the time comes. Thanks for the feedback.
I love the Honda Accord, such a nice car. Although I had to sell mine, their seats will just screw up your back. First car that gave me back pain, for short trips it's great but for commuting, you are going to feel it.
I agree! The Sport version should include a V6 motor because it's the best looking out of the rest, and include push button start and sunroof. The EX got all the best equipment but lack the looks due to the 18" alloys tires and wheels.
If i could afford buying a brand new car, it would be the sexy new accord. For now I have my clean 91 accord going over 500k miles. :) Take care of your accord and will fer sure take care of you.
Great review. Agree on the sport package that should be available on all Accords. Also the manual version should be available in more than just two exterior and one interior color.
For the complaints about the Sport not being available on higher trim models. For me, the Sport has just the options I am willing to pay for and nothing else. Every upgrade I like. I am a value shopper. My last car was a 2005 Acura RL that I bought for $16K so this is an expensive car to me. I think I am going new next time and this is no RL, but I think it is very nice and it will be nice to have a new car when the time comes. Not too soon though, we just bought a 2015 Honda CRV and it is nice enough, but very cheap feeling and not comfortable and has the vibration, they ALL do. Accord is a better car overall, but we wanted an SUV.
I just got the 2016 Accord Sport and so far I LOVE it. It turns heads because looks like a sports or luxury car. HP is only 189 but that is because it gets great MPGs! I average 38 which is amazing for not being a hybrid. This car is awesome. Maybe Honda should offer a Sport model with a more powerful engine like the Ford Fusion Sport which has 325 HP but only gets about 20 MPGs. An All Wheel Drive option for this vehicle would be an excellent idea for Honda in the future too Fusion Sport has AWD.
The one thing I love about the Sport is it doesn't come with that stupid side view camera. If I have a side view mirror why the hell do I need a screen lighting up at night every time I put on the right turn signal? It would just make me not use the signal. Also, the Sport comes with a manual option. And the seats look and feel better, in my opinion.
I used to swear I'd never buy a Honda as I saw them as being quite generic but then I test drove a 2014 Accord and I was sold. Good quality, high efficiency and unmatched reliability make the Accord an incredible value, especially in base trim.
this is one impressive review! I am looking to get a 2014 certified pre owned one of these... leaving my es 350 lexus with to many miles behind. I loved my ES and had two of the same car for the last 8 years and will miss the 285 hp but I hope and wish this car will just fill my void... thanks again for all the time and effort you put into this... it really shows... i subbed and liked
Minimal issues with my 2015 LX, 78k miles. Mirror issue I never noticed.. maybe my car didn't have it. Zero challenges with the starter. Minimal oil dilution issues. Zero CVT slippage, even at steep grades. Had no problems with the CVT, and actually preferred the immediate "downshift" compared to other cars (2018+ Camry) having to hunt for the right gear when you just need to go. Averaged 36mpg per tank, 70% highway. I did 6 hour drives with the cloth seats in the LX and was never uncomfortable. Really a great car. Only real issue was left rear power door lock stopped working. not a big deal since I rarely use that door. I could still manually unlock it with the button, and would just leave it locked all the time by default. Some wind noise in the rear.. overall road noise wasn't great, but I got used to it. Bluetooth always sync'd to the phone before I even got in the car. Always worked flawlessly. Backup camera was great. Tires.. while on the narrow/bubble side (205/65/R16), were at least cheap to replace.. $110 for Continental True Contact, which had better ratings than what came on the car, Pro Contact. The only main downside to the 4cyl Sedans is the cornering. Lots of body roll! Those curves are NOT fun with this car. However you'll find forums on a simple easy 30 minute do it yourself rear sway bar upgrade that helps the understeer/body roll significantly. I never got around to doing it myself, but people are confident in it.
With the Chevrolet Malibu, Ford Fusion, Mazda 6 and Nissan Altima, they all give this car a run for its money, and not to mention Camry, but this Honda Accord is one beautiful car.
Good review, I own a 2014. I have it for almost 9 months. It has had no issues. I still like the way it drives and looks. The interior space inside is hugh, and plenty of legroom and good trunk space You said it in your review it is a great car for the money, possibly the best car in its price range, maybe!
I have own the 2015 honda accord sedan for about 2 weeks now and its a great and fun car to drive. The features on the car is an upgrade from the previous models expecially for a honda. The push to start is neat, the displays for the radio and back up camera is nice, inside is spacious and comfortable to seat 5. The leather has a great feel to it. It has great handling on the steering wheel Going 80 in the freeway with the car feeling heavy and grounded to the freeway. All car has its ups and downs, to me honestly its up to the owner to take care of the car so it can have a long life. Of course every car has its lemons, the engineers aren't perfect but who is? The car is a great buy and i know my son, family and friends will be safe inside it.
I owned a 2002 Acura 3.5 RL. It was super clean when I Petes ways because of mileage and gas economy. The sport with the CVT transmission will surprise anyone. I was used to the V6 but my 2015 accord is awesome. Never shifts will stay at 6500 rpm and go
I looked over the brochure for both a 2013 and 2014 Accord sedan, no where does Honda mention that the SPORT model has a sport tuned suspension. The only differentiating factors are the wheels, fog lights, interior fabric, paddle shifters, rear spoiler, and dual exhaust. Otherwise, its exactly the same as the LX version. Please show me where does Honda state *sport tuned suspension* for the Accord Sport sedan??
cancercell1 Worst part isn't just the lack of paddle shifters - the center console shifter doesn't have ANY ability to select a gear - just "D" and "S" mode. "S" mode works the same as "D" just holds gears longer. Very upsetting when driving on mountain grades where you want to hold gears. Sporty car? Hardly. Even my old 82 Tercel auto had gears "1" and "2" available on the shifter!
I've had my 14 Accord Ex sedan now for a little over a year...luv it...Crystal Black Pearl.....tinted windows.... Honda all weather floor mats and trunk tray.....awesome car.... wouldn't drive anything eles....except for Honda's 6 cylinder Accord Exl sedan.... when i get thru paying off my son's Civic that's my next car...
I have had 3 civics and 1 Acura TSX. I love the bullet proof reliability of Honda. However, the very firm ride of Hondas is beginning to wear on me. my next purchase, very likely Acura RL , used. Reported to have a very comfortable ride.
I have this Srs light for passenger always on regardless if there's someone sitting in it or not....the light on the indicator is white?...dealer tells me it's normal and always has to be on????tried to argue with them explaining that when I purchased vehicle light was never on.their response you probably never saw it!what the!!!please help
I have a 2014 lx-s coupe /4 cylinder with the 6 speed manual. I know, its only a 4 cylinder, but it will get up and go. Not a track car but perfect for my commute and the occasional fun.
I'm glad honda got fined 70 million.I hope this fine let's them get their game back on track, they've been slacking off for a while now especially with their Bullshit automatic transmissions.
Funny seeing you on a Honda review...I always had a problem with Honda's automatic transmissions which put a lot of ppl in debt.Acura was actually brought to court in the early 2000's because of those TL's.The automatic transmission on Hondas are not to e trusted, hopefully this fine straightens them out. I'm a Lexus guy btw but I gotta be fair.
well i said before honda isnt the best by any means and acura tends to borrow a lot from them soooooo they pretty much go hand in hand. im glad you got your common sense back
i have a 2013 Accord touring w/ the 4cy, that i ordered new in dec 2013 i too was concerned about the cvt but it now has 48,000 k on it and zero issues with anything on the car ...my 4th accord and this is there best in my opinion. i'm getting 850 k / tank with mostly highway driving and most of my driving is 125k / hour. if i where to buy the car again i would have opted for the v6, i wish it had more punch off the line without having to put my foot half way to the floor
You buy the Accord because it has the perks of basically everything the Camry has that "Matters" and because u actually care about having fun and a fun/ more confident and engaging refined expierence/drive. Toyota is a box to go from place to place and that is pretty much all.. Honda has everything that Toyota has but they go farther to make their cars much more fun and nice and engaging to drive while offering all the practicals and more that Toyota does instead of just being a box for point A to B and similar pricing aswell i believe. I am now pastor and have stopped preaching
I would definitely pick the sport over the LX- it looks great. I recently bought an EX-L which isn't as attractive in my mind, but I wanted two things you can't get on the sport: Nav and Moonroof. If Honda allowed you to mix and match options, I would have gotten a sport and added those two features.
I just brought home the same exact one. It's more than i expected. The only thing that bothers me so far is that the noise cancellation isn't that good.
+Janloy Quintero So if you don't mind, how do you feel about the car since you posted this comment? I'm asking because I am considering to purchase a pre owned 13 sport. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
+Cesar I. No problem, man. the car now has around 18k miles, two oil changes and zero issues. I took the car out the lot at $19k^. I driven many cars over the past 13 years and by far the comfort, technology and looks that not only accord, but Honda brings for the price is unmatchable. needless to say, i can buy a great range of vehicles is wanted but i would definitely not considering it would be a shame not to take advantage of the fact that it is an exceptional vehicle for its price. the only thing I'm not 100% about is the cvt since it hasn't been out in market long enough to know it's long life outcome. Any vehicle under 50k miles (usually)won't show much mechanical issues. I'm the kind of person that after a while tries to find flaws in everything....and i sincerely can't seem to find any. Hope that helped. let me know if you have any specific questions
Janloy Quintero Grea! Thanks alot man! so did you buy it new for 19k?? Because that's a good deal man. That's exactly why I want to get a pre-owned 2013 so I can get it for that price or below if possible. Anyways, I understand your concern about the CVT and I would be too. I've read conflicting reviews but so far no issues with yours right? Also, I want it for commuting to work but I go out of town quite often. How does it do in terms of punching it to go? like power wise, are you happy with it? I test drove it once but I obviously couldn't do much that's why I'm asking. Well thanks again for your input dude, it's helping and I'm excited to get me one.
+Cesar I. I'm leasing to own. yes, 19k is the final price of the car. in my opinion, it's best to lease to own. you get to test drive it for a while before you completely purchase it. I've owned one mustang gt, one cobra and a cbr600.. i know speed by now. as long as you take the ecomode off and put it in sport, it'll haul ass! I've taken it to 120 and it got there fast! overall, I'm extremely impressed by it and would definitely advice in favour of purchasing one. i travel an average of 75 miles per hour on the highway and about 80% of my commute is highway. i do 31 miles per gallon per tank of gas.
Thanks for your excellent review...I've been considering the sport model, but the fact that it doesn't have a sun roof may detour me from this model...I love the look of this car,but you are correct in that it should be offered a pkg upgrade across the line. I don't understand why Honda is choosing to go this way with a sport package. At least offer a bigger engine too. I'll probably end up getting the ex v6 navi, and adding the trunk lid spoiler to at least give it a similar look as this..
This is actually a good review. The Honda is a good car, but too bad they went with the CVT transmission. The paddle shifters are called "faux paddle shifters", because there is no actually gears, so they are pointless. The Camry has real paddle shifters, with a real 6-speed automatic transmission. I don't care for the PLAYSKOOL style dash-board, but I guess most Yanks buy the Accord because they care very little about gauges. I would prefer the larger tachometer the Camry SE uses. Hondas build good cars, but they are expensive for what one gets for the price....a belt drive instead of a real transmission. Good luck replacing that at 45,000 miles, it's not covered under warranty since it's typical wear, very much like wiper blades, tires, and brakes.
I just bought the exact. Car ur showing 3. Days ago,but in mine when i star it , the motor make a fanny noise like those that are 5 years old cars, when i opened the hood it has some rusted spot like 3 in long,i also own a trailblazer 07 and its more quiet than this one i spoke with the sale person and set an apmt for a check up . also he said that on this model that sound may be normal and about the rusted spot daid it may be for the snow... Jajaja not even one week and have to go back for a check up. Does any one know if i can still exchange it or in the worst case return it ? Let me know plz, specialy the uploader of this vid.
I have the Accord Touring with the Sport Edition stuff on it, its pricey but I love it and I added a roof spoiler, factory all around Aero Kit color matched with the car, factory Sport Grille makes it looks nice too.
the 2015 Subaru Legacy or Outback is a better choice than the Honda Accord or Toyota Camry since they are all-wheel-drive, rear wheel bias, meaning better handling and safety.
I traded my 2008 Forester for a 2014 Accord EX-L. I loved my Subaru, but have never really considered or liked the Legacy sedan. While I'm very happy with my new Accord, I wish I had waited a few more months to compare it against the new Legacy. From what I can tell they did a really nice job with it and I would have seriously considered it. The onboard tech offerings are now competitive and the new model is nice looking.
Why nobody mentions that the rear lamp of Accord is very similar to Hyundai Genesis 2010? I'm pretty sure if accord was Hyundai's product. Most people here would mention that.
If the sport were a package I'd think less would actually sell, my aunt got a sport last year over the lx only because of the 10-way power adjustable seats...if there was a cheaper model than sport with the 10-way seats then she would've never gotten a sport
It depends on which which model and what packages are equipped. But apples to apples they both are priced the same. Accord ranges from $22,105 to $33,630 and Altima ranges from $22,300 to $32,350
Alex Cupples That is my qiuestion as well. Looking at both; I think that the EX is probably what I'm going to focus on [better music sync and a push-button start, as well as the right sided camera]; I do like the dual exhaust and the wheels on the Sport, though. Who needs a sun-roof though!!
I have driven both and the accord sport has about 20 more horsepower and has way better interior. The camry se was nice and is reliable but performance wise the accord is advanced . Even the Toyota dealer told me that the accord is better.
its not a sport "package", its a trim level. as a matter of fact, honda has never done packages for their cars. so if you want the sport look, just buy the wheels, spoiler and dual exhaust yourself.
Quite a few state senators and other representatives are provided a car. Like a Camry. In Colorado, the state senator drives a White V6 Camry. I was driving behind him last week. I'm just glad they don't buy them $100k+ Mercedes or some crap like that.
I have driven Hondas since 1983 and loved the 1980's Accords. However, Honda Corp now has a black eye due to this: "NHTSA says Honda failed to report 1,729 death and injury claims tied to their vehicles between 2003 and 2014, and that the company failed to submit 'early warning reports identifying potential or actual safety issues.' The NHTSA also claims Honda under-reported warranty and customer dissatisfaction claims." www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2015/01/08/375914334/honda-fined-70-million-for-underreporting-deaths-and-injuries Folks who are interested in an alternative to the Accord Sport should consider the 2015 MAZDA6 Sport, which is also available with a manual transmission, thank goodness! No way will I ever drive an automatic tranny or one of those CVT blenders.......
awesome..'none of this heads up display garbage' really enjoyed your review and i felt the same when i purchased mine in 2013. i didnt want all the beeping and clanging feedback from the command system. i wished they gave us better brakes instead of the standard choice.
Nice cars but beware, Honda but junk starters in the 2013-2015 accords. Do some research online and see how frequent people are having starter issues. I’m dealing with the same issue myself
Well I like the review for the 2015 accord sport and i did have a 1998 accord my first car and that thing was nothing but trouble transmission repairs multiple times so I got rid of it and got me a 2002 manual transmission I still have it it has 240 thousand miles so this one has been reliable, the 1998 it was v6 the 2002 is 4 cylinders
Hold on.... Did he say "none of this heads up display garbage?" I beg to differ with my 1998 Grand prix GTP. I use the heads up all the time and its very affective. . However, good review on this accord sport.
I got a 2007 and 2012 Honda Accord, bought the 2012 expecting it to have the quality Similar to the 2007, And am not happy with it apart from the drive quality. Recently, My mate bought a 2014 Accord and I could see the quality even worse than 2012. (Quality I mean is by the quality of stuff its made to build ). Its too noisy, which is really annoying. I dont expect Accord to get better anymore. The best accord ever made is the 2007 Model.
CHEAP CAR.

Great review. The reviewer did a great job describing the Accord in a real life everyday perspective.
Honestly ready to purchase mine. Currently driving a 2001 Honda Accord EX. Great car but it's time for an upgrade
1000% AGREE with the "sports package" suggestion. That was the same exact thought I had when I noticed it. Keep up the great work.
Were going with the Honda.
steve smith you'll thank yourself for years to come. Lincolns don't have great reliability.
You picked a car based off who made it? Really? The phone you're using is Chinese. The clothes you're wearing probably aren't American either. Who the hell cares man lmao buy whatever car you want.

I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX and it just turned 236,000 miles. Honda quality FTW.
one of the best reviewers I've ever seen, maybe the best. subscribed
This is an excellent review and I thank you for taking the time to really explain this car and how it feels.
I love the Honda Accord, such a nice car. Although I had to sell mine, their seats will just screw up your back. First car that gave me back pain, for short trips it's great but for commuting, you are going to feel it.
was it due to lack of support or something poking your back thru the seat fabric?
I agree! The Sport version should include a V6 motor because it's the best looking out of the rest, and include push button start and sunroof. The EX got all the best equipment but lack the looks due to the 18" alloys tires and wheels.
I have the 2013 Accord coupe, also the 9th generation, I love my Accord. Awesome Car
I have an Accord Sport for 5 years now, only 40,000 miles on it :)
Is it a good car, I just saw one on sale, and it has 82,000 miles
If i could afford buying a brand new car, it would be the sexy new accord. For now I have my clean 91 accord going over 500k miles. :) Take care of your accord and will fer sure take care of you.
I love mine 2014 honda accord. Amazing car .
6 cylinder manual or forget it.
Why can't these car companies get it right?
The one thing I love about the Sport is it doesn't come with that stupid side view camera. If I have a side view mirror why the hell do I need a screen lighting up at night every time I put on the right turn signal? It would just make me not use the signal. Also, the Sport comes with a manual option. And the seats look and feel better, in my opinion.
I used to swear I'd never buy a Honda as I saw them as being quite generic but then I test drove a 2014 Accord and I was sold. Good quality, high efficiency and unmatched reliability make the Accord an incredible value, especially in base trim.
I own a two door 2015 Honda Accord. I have owned well north of 40 cars and trucks. The Accord is the nicest car I have ever owned!
How is the sound system though
Its very good
this is one impressive review!
Uppercornerhockey Did you get the Honda & if you did how is it holding up?
I have a 2015 lx and the cloth seats suck imo
With the Chevrolet Malibu, Ford Fusion, Mazda 6 and Nissan Altima, they all give this car a run for its money, and not to mention Camry, but this Honda Accord is one beautiful car.
I've owned the car for three years and I did not know you could drive in the S mode without using the paddle shifters!
Kelly Keefe yep it's fun, higher rpm
Good review, I own a 2014. I have it for almost 9 months. It has had no issues. I still like the way it drives and looks. The interior space inside is hugh, and plenty of legroom and good trunk space
You said it in your review it is a great car for the money, possibly the best car in its price range, maybe!
Never shifts will stay at 6500 rpm and go
I think the sport model the best as well. I wish they would offer it with a sunroof. I would also LOVE to see an all wheel drive Accord.
The 2015 Honda Accord 4 doors sport sedan is very spacious.
Please show me where does Honda state *sport tuned suspension* for the Accord Sport sedan??
shehkh I think the suspension is an option.
shehkh also the slight bump in HP (185 to 189) and 1mpg less gas mileage.
The CVT in this car is surprisingly quiet and nice
I love my 2015 Black
accord sport
don't expect stock sound system to be great, stock items is not always the best after all, you can always go for aftermarket items.
I like it. Screw the CVT though.
Camry SE seems old and boring.
I totally agree. What else is insulting is that the v6 models don't have the paddle shifters on the sedan, there is no excuse for this omission.
cancercell1 Worst part isn't just the lack of paddle shifters - the center console shifter doesn't have ANY ability to select a gear - just "D" and "S" mode. "S" mode works the same as "D" just holds gears longer. Very upsetting when driving on mountain grades where you want to hold gears. Sporty car? Hardly. Even my old 82 Tercel auto had gears "1" and "2" available on the shifter!
oldtwins
I absolutely agree!
oldtwins I don't think you know what those 1 2 and 3 gears are for....you want a sporty car get a 5 speed end of story.
Damn slammed that trunk 😂 I had a rental 2014 Accord sport for 15 days and I loved it thinking bout getting one
Did you find the accord sport a bit shaky when on drive at a stop sign or red light?
i love honda accord
I've had my 14 Accord Ex sedan now for a little over a year...luv it...Crystal Black Pearl.....tinted windows.... Honda all weather floor mats and trunk tray.....awesome car.... wouldn't drive anything eles....except for Honda's 6 cylinder Accord Exl sedan.... when i get thru paying off my son's Civic that's my next car...
How come he doesn’t have the push start one
I have had 3 civics and 1 Acura TSX. I love the bullet proof reliability of Honda. However, the very firm ride of Hondas is beginning to wear on me. my next purchase, very likely Acura RL , used. Reported to have a very comfortable ride.
I'm beginning to learn to like Mr. Wardlaw. He seems nitpicky and looks for very different things than I do, but he's growing on me.
How come no one show u can roll the windows down by using the key fob????
I have this Srs light for passenger always on regardless if there's someone sitting in it or not....the light on the indicator is white?...dealer tells me it's normal and always has to be on????tried to argue with them explaining that when I purchased vehicle light was never on.their response you probably never saw it!what the!!!please help
I have a 2014 lx-s coupe /4 cylinder with the 6 speed manual. I know, its only a 4 cylinder, but it will get up and go. Not a track car but perfect for my commute and the occasional fun.
Is there any difference in brake lights of 2014 and 2015. I think its same
How can you call this a Sport with only 189 HP yet the regular Accord non sport makes 278 HP makes no sense!!!!
Veloz Veloz accord also has a option for a v6 engine.
Thank you for this review! I have this exact car, and the same color!
Nice mines grey
Would this exhaust system fit a 2015 Honda Accord ex
Can your get a sunroof or leather seats on the sport package?
I'm glad honda got fined 70 million.I hope this fine let's them get their game back on track, they've been slacking off for a while now especially with their Bullshit automatic transmissions.
oh really? i thought japanese car manufacturers are super transparent with their car problems.
I'm a Lexus guy btw but I gotta be fair.
well i said before honda isnt the best by any means and acura tends to borrow a lot from them soooooo they pretty much go hand in hand. im glad you got your common sense back
Lol
i have a 2013 Accord touring w/ the 4cy, that i ordered new in dec 2013 i too was concerned about the cvt but it now has 48,000 k on it and zero issues with anything on the car ...my 4th accord and this is there best in my opinion. i'm getting 850 k / tank with mostly highway driving and most of my driving is 125k / hour. if i where to buy the car again i would have opted for the v6, i wish it had more punch off the line without having to put my foot half way to the floor
Nice review, we're planning on getting one.
Whats the point of this car when a Civic Si is faster and cheaper? If you want a sporty Accord, pony up for the V6 model or just get an Si
One of the best up there with Mazda 6 and ford fusion and the altima
So does this car have a backup camera??
My EX-L does.
In my community, I mostly see from Honda is the Accord Sport. I asked around and people love it. They picked it over the LX.
I've taken it to 120 and it got there fast!
overall, I'm extremely impressed by it and would definitely advice in favour of purchasing one. i travel an average of 75 miles per hour on the highway and about 80% of my commute is highway. i do 31 miles per gallon per tank of gas.
my 2013 accord sport has a handle on the inside of the trunk. it's pretty crazy honda omitted that on the 2015!
Let me know plz, specialy the uploader of this vid.
that's weird, my accord sport has the handle in the rear trunk......
A 2014 i4 accord coupe ex brand new for 27k here I'm Canada? Can anyone tell me if that's a good deal?
Why nobody mentions that the rear lamp of Accord is very similar to Hyundai Genesis 2010? I'm pretty sure if accord was Hyundai's product. Most people here would mention that.
If the sport were a package I'd think less would actually sell, my aunt got a sport last year over the lx only because of the 10-way power adjustable seats...if there was a cheaper model than sport with the 10-way seats then she would've never gotten a sport
doesn't this guy do reviews for cnet?
Can someone explain why this 2015 Accord costs $3000 more than the 2015 Altima?
It depends on which which model and what packages are equipped. But apples to apples they both are priced the same. Accord ranges from $22,105 to $33,630 and Altima ranges from
$22,300 to $32,350
He gave honda some justice
Outstanding review. Thank you.
2015 Camry SE vs Accord Sport? Which one is nicer per say?
Alex Cupples That is my qiuestion as well.
Looking at both; I think that the EX is probably what I'm going to focus on [better music sync and a push-button start, as well as the right sided camera]; I do like the dual exhaust and the wheels on the Sport, though. Who needs a sun-roof though!!
I have driven both and the accord sport has about 20 more horsepower and has way better interior. The camry se was nice and is reliable but performance wise the accord is advanced . Even the Toyota dealer told me that the accord is better.
The back end looks very similar to a Buick Regal or LaCross.
its not a sport "package", its a trim level. as a matter of fact, honda has never done packages for their cars. so if you want the sport look, just buy the wheels, spoiler and dual exhaust yourself.
walkthepark That's a good idea..I really like the look of the sport trim...and when I buy the v6 navi I may just ad the spoiler.
"Honda sales to Government?" What government? Canadian government? What rental agency?
Quite a few state senators and other representatives are provided a car. Like a Camry. In Colorado, the state senator drives a White V6 Camry. I was driving behind him last week. I'm just glad they don't buy them $100k+ Mercedes or some crap like that.
I have 2007 honda accord ex v6.. The most reliable car in the world
Good thing black is my favorite exterior color for all cars. Make mine a stick!
Great review! I love this car, except I'd have to have it with the 6 speed manual instead of this ridiculous CVT.
I want this car one day. It’ll be a huge upgrade over a 2010 Nissan Versa
Lol at lesst you have a somewhat new car. I'd probably trade my 01 Sentra for your 10 Sentra.
I have this exact car! I love it!
I have driven Hondas since 1983 and loved the 1980's Accords. However, Honda Corp now has a black eye due to this:
"NHTSA says Honda failed to report 1,729 death and injury claims tied to their vehicles between 2003 and 2014, and that the company failed to submit 'early warning reports identifying potential or actual safety issues.' The NHTSA also claims Honda under-reported warranty and customer dissatisfaction claims."
www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2015/01/08/375914334/honda-fined-70-million-for-underreporting-deaths-and-injuries
Folks who are interested in an alternative to the Accord Sport should consider the 2015 MAZDA6 Sport, which is also available with a manual transmission, thank goodness! No way will I ever drive an automatic tranny or one of those CVT blenders.......
The Madza 6 automatic is VERY nice as well...
TheSpritz0 agreed. The automatic gets much better mileage than the manual too.
awesome..'none of this heads up display garbage' really enjoyed your review and i felt the same when i purchased mine in 2013. i didnt want all the beeping and clanging feedback from the command system. i wished they gave us better brakes instead of the standard choice.
Super review!
why can't Honda conquer road, wind noise?? seems a constant criticism for Honda cars and suvs
Nice cars but beware, Honda but junk starters in the 2013-2015 accords. Do some research online and see how frequent people are having starter issues. I’m dealing with the same issue myself
Great Review !
Honda just... Messed up with Selling the new Accord. It's a good car, but that sport thingy etc? I mean what were they thinking? :(
It's just like when you see "Sport" on the side of a Minivan, it just can't be!!
Thanks for your nice review! :)
I once drove drove an Honda Accord that had fuel, transmission and Air condition problems, sold it for 1/4 of purchase price
Great video!
