Will do check them out and when you try for trout try some shrimp next time just use a hook and a little bit of shrimp it works for me
LLightfoot73 Yup the rainbows love white shrimp I buy them Wal-Mart shrimp rings on sale. Best trout bait around !

LLightfoot73 Yes of course your the one that wanted this video! I do make fishing videos if you watch my ice fishing playlist I have lots of them! I will be making more this season I tried this morning but it -48°c here and I couldn't find the fish. I do release most the fish I catch so will have to see about cooking some. I DO cook some up in some of my past ice fishing videos please check em out!

Curious how deep you set your tip ups for northern. Great video thanks!
it depends on what time of the year. Generally 10-18 ft of water. Bait dangles 1.5 feet off the bottom.

Hopsky's Lounge Right on bud! Lots of ice where ever you are? you ever fish for pike or anything else ?
We been ice fishing since early November now we have around 12 inches of ice. Its been around -25 and -30 degree Celsius so the bigger lakes are freezing. I have caught one pike, in the summer we catch lake trout, kokanee, burbot, and rainbow trout.
Hopsky's Lounge Interesting.... we have 25 inches of ice here and is -48°c I just got off the lake. I was tip up fishing for northern pike.

@@thisandthatwithchris1984 nice! futherest north I've been is lady lake last year for rainbow...stocked pond air pumped deep drop offs where we were...fun but tuff fishing the day we where there...will be going back again come freeze up same with boundary for winter bass went this summer 4 hard days of fishing walleye but no bass take er easy

Crazy talk boy. Iv been using a gas drill for 20 years. Caught many fish.
just like people trolling with gas outboard... they still catch fish.
i mostly bank fish and i can tell you, the biggest the waves and busiest the lake the better the bite.
