Outstand video Mark, as a newbie to the hobby I just want to say your honesty, great customer service and great pricing for this build was topnotch. I will definitely be using your services again in the future on my next vehicle.
Thanks Mike I might say you’re an awesome customer. Easy to deal with and very positive. Let me know if you need anything. Look forward to helping you in the future.
I gotta say, your videos are awesome! You, along with UDORC, (I think that is his name) are the best on TH-cam in terms of the information you provide. I like to learn things as opposed to watching videos of people bashing or just plain talking, and that is what you provide. I live towards Collegeville PA and for the past 2 years, had been travelling to south jersey to a shop located there. That said, I am looking for a new shop and in the near future, will start frequenting your establishment for my rc related purchase needs. It looks like you have a great store and most importantly, have the demeanor and knowledge that not all shops offer. I am sure your customers appreciate this.
These arrma videos get me so hyped to dive more into their rc range. Thoughts on Arrma redoing their whole line up with the new clipless system they put in the grom?
IMHO SMC batteries are the best in the industry and source most of their components from U.S. sources. I don't know if you saw but Daniel(owner) mentioned on their site that they are out of many of their battery types and he's listed when they will be in stock again.
Just bought one today. The hobby shop still had the original V2 which costs more. Why wouldn't the manufacturer either recall them or discount them to clear them out. If I was unaware of the V2.5 and just ist bought the V2. Id be upset.
Thunder RC youtube channel gave the Kraton 4s v2.5 an insane beating and he gave it his durability approval, most Arrma's haven't survived his massive death ramp. I know the 6s EXB V2 uses higher quality materials but I wouldn't be surprised if the new 4s V2.5 is more durable than the 6s EXB V2 because of the plastic chassis flexibility, similarly to the Xmaxx/Maxx. Arrma may have unintentionally made the 4s v2.5 more durable than their EXB's.
I just had my kraton delivered this past Friday August 9th running a 4s 6500 mah, battery is fully charged and battery is about 6 months old im getting tops.maybe 8 min. Runtime and that smooth pavement I put a different battery in got the same results I haven't touched settings on esc ..the temp on esc and motor both are about 130. What could be my issue
Have you found a fix for the servo saver I literally just put screws through mine because it doesn't matter how fast the servo is or how powerful it is that servo saber lets you down big time in the grass I can do figure eights inside of the turning circle of this thing, Don't be wrong I love it but the steering seriously lets me down and it's all down to that servo saver
Does the esc fan fit in the cage like the stock fan also what would be a good motor fan with out plugging into the battery I'm in florida running through hi grass it gets super hot
Hi - thank you for the video - very good informations ... I also want to add those two fans but I have a question - the big one is labeled with 11,1Volt but if I use 4s there will be more volts - can the fan handle this over a long period or will it die sooner or later ?
So I would have to rebuild the car before I even can drive it. This what keeps me from buying an rc car. It should come from the factory ready to go without breaking. Especially if I'm speeding 500 plus
No one said you have to do any of that. This was built for a customer that lives in a desert. He also wanted to spend some more making the car a little better. These are called upgrades not necessities.
Sadly SMC does not have those lipos available no more. As I understand they are bringing another change to their lineup. That is somethin that annoys me a little, that they are not very consistent when it come to their lineup, and they take out of the market the ones they have until they get the new ones, and that can be an over a month wait. I love SMC, but their logistics when it comes to inventory is really poor
Hahaha I’m in AZ and my fan setup on my EXB is very similar. All of my batteries are 100-120C. Cool to see I’m doing some things right 😁
That’s good to hear !! Thanks for validating the setup !!

Just return and buy the v2.5 from me. It’s cheaper too !! lol.
@@ParkflyersRC I did but the 2.5. just weird they have the 2 still available. Should be at an mfg discount.
Great video by the way.

That battery better than the new gens ace batterys ?
Is this one to buy out of the boy so? Or I got to buy the kraton 4s v2 and upgrades it my self to 2.5?
You buy 2.5 out of the box.
@@ParkflyersRC thx.. a pity nowhere to find in Germany, only the v2.
@@ParkflyersRC cant find it even on official arrma site, May be u have a link?
What about the tires I notice you didn’t recommend the 4s Backflips on this like you did on the 6s EXB RTR V2.
lol. These come with 4s size tires. Backflips would be a small upgrade 😅
So I guess these would be great on the Kraton 6s EXB V2 t
