I absolutely love my Kraton 4s , I have ver 2 , upgraded with the 2.5 stuff except for a center diff, I went a different route, I put a spool system in and it rocks!
I sold this one shortly after this video so I could buy another rc for another video and ive have regrets. Ive been thinking about buying another one. Just something about the 4s arrma line that I love.
I hate those trees when they move and get in your way 😂. Once driving around my X-Maxx, a giant rock got right in my way. I'm telling you, they are sneaky! And yes I broke my X-Maxx that day too 😂😂😂. Thanks for the video 👍
Good thing is that doing a chassis swap is so easy. The whole front and rear assemblies come off in pretty much one unit. The electronics come out as a whole unit. It takes like 20 minutes to do a chassis swap. I really like that about these cars.
Subscribed. Been saving the pennies for my second car. Bought the Slash 4x4 2S BL a few months ago. Thing is a tank with only one camber arm break and I use it pretty much exclusively at a huge concrete skatepark in southern NH. Was thinking 8s but for the money, I'm now thinking this is the next logical step. Thanks for the uploads!
Thanks for the sub!! This is a great choice. I honestly think it would of taken way more of a beating if I didn't hit it just right to take out that chassis. It was a fun rig, but I honestly prefer my mojave 4s.
@charliesschroedinger yes I do! The outcast is great as well if you're looking to do a lot of flips. Pretty much the whole arrma 4s line is great these days, but the mojave hands down is my favorite, and it's taken the most abuse without major breaks.
@HumlsHobbies me thinks I'll be switching my next vehicle to a Mohave. Then I'll get the Kraton. I mean... I'm a retired man. OBVIOUSLY I'll have them all eventually but... skimming the books from the household isn't always a fast process 🤣🤣♥️
I barely ran my Kraton 4s v2.5 into a 4x4 fence post and the shock shaft snapped in 2!! I know I’ve hit harder things than that in my 3s Granite but what are you gonna do, right?! Like you said run, bash, break , fix and repeat!😂 Great video! Just out of curiosity what kind of run times are you getting from the 4s Mojave and the 4s Kraton?
I actually ended up trading off my Kraton. However my mojave is going anywhere lol. I usually get about 15 minutes or so on my 5000 spektrum 4s batteries. My zee packs I had only lasted 10 minutes or so.
I have a bad habit of looking down at my gopro while also driving the rc 😆. You can see it in the mojave video as well. But luckily the mojave survived 😆

I broke the body the first day. one of the battery straps ripped off the second day. center drive shaft snapped in half the 4th day. Still wouldn't buy any other RC truck. I may bit hard on my toys.

I agree!! They are easy to work on and very reliable. As long as you don't drive like I did lol!

Seems like for jumps and air stuff it needs a brace across bottom center chassis . I think they sell one for almost all RC s

I am getting the 4s backflips for my k6s though and have the other tires for the rougher driving I always wanted to try one with belted tires

Those trees are wiley things. I hit one with DeeRC long ago and split my chassis in 2

My mojave 4s body isn't doing to good lol. Multiple splits all over the body. We buy them to put a beating on them! Wouldn't have it any other way!
