Take the back screw out first then pull up lightly on the back as this one s going around and will take it out!!

Nice video. So I stumble across your video after an interest in the Winchester Model 67A. Why? I was digging in my deceased father's garage and found this rusty old gun. After some clicking and reading, I decided to find out what it takes to restore this old beauty to a working man's tool with some patina left behind to match the designer's intent. The wood finish is blond and dirty, and barrel is rusty and pitted, but the gunsmith says it is good shape where it counts. I want to do my own work once I get it back from him. MidwayUSA is quite an inspiration but your video is even more encouraging. As I watch your concern over each screw, I am reminded that several sources I saw show the takedown screw working with just a penny. Perhaps the screw on yours was overtightened? When I get my back I will be attempting to fire it with only a penny tightening down the takedown screw. Perhaps I will post my own process video. What a nice looking tool. Thank You!

I was able to get screw out of trigger guard with a 4 inch screwdriver . I am having more of an issue getting front and back dovetail sights off for the bluing .

When you watch the video you'll see me wiping down the barrel with very very fine steel wool and I think I used a little bit of gun oil as well.
