He said “ when you open the window for some fresh air”…that’s why!..there are no opening windows on those Deere’s except the rear one…opening the window a bit will help to circulate the air and help prevent fogging and you also don’t have air running through dusty vents before it gets to you…just because you have heat and air conditioning doesn’t mean you are getting fresh air!..I’ve been running equipment for over 30 years and I run gear with a window open even if it’s only by a crack..maybe you like sucking on that vented climate controlled air…some people don’t!..what’s it to you?🤷🏻♂️
@@MrMan5014I agree, I plow snow all year in a 70hp new holland and even tho the heat and air work just fine in it, at the very least I always leave the rear window open just a crack when I’m plowing to allow for fresh air in and to help keep the windows clear on those super snowy days where they can fog up. Also this way you’re not constantly adjusting the heat control nob cooler, warmer, cooler, warmer.. as it is often hard to find just the right setting when your plowing in a tractor cab for hours on end
That's why I modified my back window to open and stop before it hits when my rear implements are up with a chain like how dump trailers are used to spead gravel or dirt
To have try these 2 tractor the kubota is by far superior. Also just à little advice, where i work they did also shatter 2 Windows but after that they removed the cylinder on the Windows so it cant happen since the window wont stay open
The rubber seal on the JD rear windows is a stupid design too. Got fed up with our 4052r and siliconed the rubber. That being said, 1400 hours on our 2018 4052r used for plowing/blowing/grading/bucket work... Zero issues other than basic stuff like dented hydraulic filter, damaged tires, and various implement repairs (mainly due to poor/careless operators). Really interested in a 4075r
The smaller sub compact kubotas are so much more well designed than Deeres plus the Kubotas make their own engines, trans, hydraulics everything. Deeres use a Yanmar engine and tuff torq transmissions so basically source parts and build a frame for it. And your gonna pay a premium for green paint and parts are more expensive and service is more expensive and the dealers suck, well AgPro dealers do anyway!
Thanks we are having to replace our kubota it was hit on road at 80 plus by a truck it totaled it thankfully no fatality but debated on getting John deer but now going back with kubota cause I know it saved my dad's life in the accident and it broke in 3 pieces
Wtf. You can't just leave the story like that. What tractor was it? how did he survive? Was he beat up or walked away like a boss? I know people who killed themselves on a tractor going only 5mph. 80 really?
John Deere thinks they did a good enough job that they ain’t trying to be the best anymore there relying on the name which is pathetic for an American company to do that and cut corners the way they have been doing with all their new equipment I guess it’s time for a new American company to take over the market and replace the Deere
What a comment that is. On a long shift the heat gets dry , u get tired, u need the heat to keep windows clear. Some fresh cold air is nice. It’s not like u can stop and have a stroll. when I’m plowing in a pickup , usually drivers window down and heat on low. So I can understand this issue
As someone who runs a fair bit of kubotas, their major downfall is lifespan. You’ll get twice the life out of any of the big 3 tractor brands that you would out of a kubota. The motor will run forever but everything else will go sooner
I have some John Deers that are 5 years old and i have some Kubotas that are 5 years old and let me tell ya those John Deeres are in much rougher shape and have a pile of more problems. I think this is only and issue for John Deere on the compact tractors as the agricultural tractors are far superior and bullet proof!
Kubotas hold up much better than the Deeres and are built tougher, I worked at a Deere dealer now I work at a Kubota dealer so seen them both first hand. Quality on the Deeres is just not there anymore because they don't make barely anything for their small tractors anymore it's sad. They even have some models that are literally Yanmar tractors painted green. Says made by Yanmar Osaka, Japan on the serial tag.
No, you shouldn’t have the back window open, especially going down the road. It has heat and air conditioning. Why?

Kabota needs to go back to flat glass if they want happy customers. All this rounded custom glass crap on equipment is garbage.

Smart.
I have a John Deere 8130 that I run with the back window open quite often never had a problem

Have you considered case or new Holland. I understand you went with that bc of the dealers near you but check em out

Kubota has some well designed machines
Kubota is making lot of the tractors, heavy equipment in America now.
The Kubota’s rear window is heated as well.

Bang on! Well said my friend.

Sorry to hear about that. Glad he made it out safe!

I love kubota most
Best compact tractor in the world, And that’s facts.

Im with you man!
U need fresh air dont buy a cab
It’s almost like they work in snow.
screw it, don’t wanna pay the diesel, just buy a push blower while you’re at it! 😅

Do you realize it’s a snow removal service in northern Ontario? Lol

Everything such as what wears out on the Kubota?

John Deere ride far superior. Not choppy. As you get older spend 14 hour days in you will appreciate the jd
