I'd be very excited to be working on this again. I like the Illusion of Gaia soundtrack, am relatively happy with the arrangements I made and would feel better if I get to finish this project. I can start over and make it a lot better that I did back 8 years ago. I'm working on an album of my own right now with 40 songs that I intend to finish before September. After that I will work on the second Botsing album together with a friend that we will finish in December. If all goes well I will start working on Illusion of Gaia again at the start of 2022.
@@SourJovis Its awesome to hear that you are still active. I hope all of your ventures are successful and I wait patiently for that notification that a new Illusion of Gaia arrangement is uploaded.
Yes I plan to make arrangements of all of the songs. I had to stop for a while because my computer broke down and I couldn't retrieve all of the programs I've used for this. I've also been very busy with other projects. I should pick it up again soon. I want to finish what I've started.
@@TheBanishedWind It's been that long already since the last post. 8 years in fact since the last video. I haven't forgotten about the project, but the arrangements I made back then aren't as good as the songs I make now, and the ones I make now aren't as good as those I want to make. But I'm getting close to it. Almost have all of the instruments, effects and skills to do a complete overhaul of the soundtrack that would make it worth it. I just don't know if I'll ever have the time.
@@SourJovis Here's hoping you can. These were good. If you're promising the next ones will be better, then I eagerly await the day you can get back to work.
@@SourJovis Also hoping you finish these, because you did such a good job on them (and I'm sure what you'd produce now would be even better). I respect the fact that you're trying to make them perfect, but there's a saying - don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. An 'excellent' rendition that comes out is better than a 'perfect' rendition that doesn't, right?
It has a more cheerful tune than most stages. It also looks and feels more cheerful, so I think the music fits. The music also has an adventurous and mysterious element to it, so that fits as well. The motivations of the characters in this game often escape me. I don't know why they do what they do, or why they are there. It’s like the events drag them along. But it doesn’t matter too much.
This is one of the dungeons which has an oddly cheerful tune, and yet it still smacks of adventure and exploration. I guess a flying temple was the move to make for the Nazca Paintings.
Missed you too. It's my favourite level as well. I like the switching between the upper and lower side of the stage. I think it would be even better with up to date graphics, or even in real life. I mean a garden in the sky. What a view you would have.
For these, I just used Propellerhead Reason with only the sounds and effects that came with it and a Yamaha psr3000 keyboard. Nowadays I don't use my psr3000 much anymore, but I use a lot of third party plugins, vsts and sample packs alongside Reason.
Best soundtrack in the game! I've loved this game since it came out
I know it's been 8 years, but I continue to be hopeful that some day we'll hear some more arrangements from this game.

The chords you used in the background gives a magical or mystical sound that I really appreciate.

SourJovis hey how it you stop making these?

Made me believe I was upside, so cool!
More! More!
I liked the music in the sky guardian, you can kind of feel the pressure in the music.
Yes, true. There's a lot of tension. But it also has some parts that are light and beautiful. There's a duality to it. I think that makes sense.
My favourite level in the game! Cool arrangement! I missed you a lot you know?
The course of westernized civilization is influenced by the conflux of both Greek and Pachutchi incan ruled culture and nazca sciences
Have you considered doing an arrangement of clash of light and shadow, the final boss theme on the comet? Best song in the whole game.
What software did you use to produce these?
