The first time I played this game was also when I rented it. Afterwards I found it for sale somewhere. It's a fun little game with an interesting story. Quite short and not very difficult so it won't take you too much time to complete. You could also check out its successor Terranigma (if you haven’t already). It’s a much longer and more complex game, but its even better.
Awesome video! I like your version of this music. The first boss gave me some problems way back when, particularly because how early in the game you face it and how short your life bar is. Castoth is a pretty fierce boss to face that underpowered + that soon in the game.
Funny think about that, in my experience I never had trouble with the vampires. Like, ever, but the first boss was an insurmountable challenge in my youth. (Had to have one of my older brothers beat it for me.)
@@jonathanpowell613 Especially because it's a timed fight, and the combined vampire attack wipes out half your life bar if the orb hits you. Doesn't help either that in order to fight them as Freedan, you have to do some serious backtracking to the beginning of the level, and the path back to the Vampire's lair is really far and winding, you gotta go twice as far + take huge detour as Freedan, cuz Freedan can't do the psycho slider thru holes in the wall.
The first time I played the game I had difficulties with the first boss as well. The problem with that boss is, you can't dodge many of his attacks. The vampires in Mu are even worse in that respect. Anyway I've already recorded the boss, and I defeated him in one go this time. Now I just have to arrange the boss music. And then the rest. It goes on for a while.
Go ahead. I feel honoured. Is there anything you need to do that? There are quite high quality mp3s (320 kbps) on mediafire. I can also send you better quality wav files (24-bit and 96 kHz). Don’t forget to credit the original composer Yasuhiro Kawasaki as well.

This game had some real charm, great dungeons and music, Terranigma is incredible.
Thank you friend! Good gameplay!!
Great song, made even greater with this arrangement! Awesome work!

I think you did a great work on that one too !
This is crazy, man.
Such an underrated game
Great rearrangement! I remember this level's boss took me forever to beat, but I think the vampire couple from Mu is much harder.
Don't even get me started on the vampires in Mu. That boss was ridiculously difficult.
