EP. 1 My BMW E30 Restoration - Front Subframe Assembly - Dismantling

This is the first part of my e30 subframe restoration project. By splitting up the videos, i hope this helps to keep the video lengths down whilst still being as detailed as possible.
In this video, I dismantle the subframe into sub-components which I plan to restore.

Wth are those mini shock absorbers?! Never seen them on front subframe before. Recognised all other bits

They seem to only be on the small engines, supposedly to dampen the engine movement.

@@BadE30 bloody hell man. Ive got an e30. Had a few over the years. Got a e36. Ive never seen that. Talk about over engineering. Love it. Even follow and seen so many e30s builds on e30zone (yours too). Never seen those little mini dampers. Thanks man. Learned something new.

@@terrimaanu bmw engines, why make them smooth when you can just dampen them! Haha. Luckily my s38 won’t need them
