By the way, you can also try to protect the frame with Bilt Hamber Hydrate80 since it will protect it from rust specially in Canada stuff they put on roads. Great work man! Just completed the rear end refresh on mine and was looking for some info on the front and definitely found it here. Ps. the yellow tag is the same ratio as the purple tag, just a bit tougher to turn.

Hey man, just a quick note. The worm screws on that steering shaft are sketchy at best on a street car and have been known to fail. I can tell you know this as you're putting in a couple failsafe's (drilling the shaft and red locktite) but its still a point of concern. If you insist on running it, just make sure you check the tightness on a very regular basis.

Hopefully it will turn out half as decent as yours. Also, I didn't ask in you under coating video, but why did you use the 3M stuff with all the other alternatives out there. Asking because I will also restore the wheel wells and don't know exactly what to use.

Of course. - I use RealOEM.com to find the part number for all the hardware and then purchase it through FCP Euro OR ECS Tuning, you can save a couple cents here and there just getting the same size bolts locally but i prefer to buy OEM. - I use 2 wrenches because one has a higher threshold for torque and one has a lower. I belive the smaller one is 1 - 22ftlbs and the bigger is 20 - 250ftlbs. I use Maximum digital torque wrenches, i believe theyre only available in Canada. - I would do OEM mounts if youre worried about vibrations, my goal is very much race car spec so its not really a concern for me as I am looking for rigidity. I hope this helps my friend!

I’d like to run the z4 steering rack. To delete my power steering. I had a lot of leaks from the lines etc on my first e30 and e46. However do I run the same tie rods as you or can I just run e46 inners and outers. Will the inner and outer tie rods fit on an e30?
I am not sure my friend! all depends on the width difference over the factory width and which ones will integrate. I have zero experience or interest in that rack set up unfortunately

Strut bars at both sides and bolt in reinforcement in the rear. Front isn’t really a concern for me
