    No way, I did this exact same job with the same weld in kit a few weeks ago. Although I decided to modify the ARB reinforcement on mine and weld it on the other side (see my vid if you're interested). I'm impressed with the POR15 finish, amazing for a brush-on paint. Great job, subbed :)

      I was very tempted to do that too, i tested the fitting of the arb bush mount and I was happy it would still work. Definitely something I’d do next time!

    Great job and the POR15 came out looking incredible. It’s the same weld in kit that I done on mine too! One of my ARB tabs had been already snapped off so it’s definitely a good idea to reinforce them.

      Nice one dude! Good to hear as I’ve gone for a thick boy arb due to the big engine up front haha.

    Really good finish, good thorough job that. Well done. How tuff is it once cured? When will the engine be going in?

      Cheers lad. Supposedly it’s tougher than powdercoating as it doesn’t chip like egg shells. Engine still a long way off!

    Why the reinforcement bud?

    • @BadE30
      @BadE30  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Heavier engine, stiffer suspension and sway bar! Quite a common thing with e30’s due to common faults. These help alleviate the known weak points

      Definitely worth it so- We are dropping a m52 into ours

      @@parknchillwaterford3040 nice one! It’s kind of one of them jobs where whilst the engine is out and it’s easy to get to, you may aswell go for it! Good luck with your swap dude, sweet engine.

      Supposedly this stuff can be better that powdercoat which i definitely believe by trying to remove the over drips from my workbench haha!!
