Honestly I kinda like this idea. It’s a reissue but it has something different, so the original retains its value while new collectors can get something they missed. My only issue is this being a store exclusive which I find odd, maybe they’ll start doing this more often?

I highly doubt they omitted the headsculpt to preserve the value of the original. Theyve never cared about aftermarket prices, beyond being a way to gauge demand for an easily produced reissue. Hot Toys just dont have a track record of caring about collectors after the figures leave the shelves to back up that claim. It was a cost saving measure, plain and simple.
Not likely. They have already paid for the moulds, they have already paid for the likeness for that sculpt, it would have cost them very little to include it

I tend to agree, consideeing the new cap has fewer hamds, but its really odd thet gave him the chris evans sculpt
@@connorb237 They shouldn’t care. If people want them to retain value they should buy limited edition size statues. That’s not what hot toys are meant to be about

Damn that red looks absolutely gorgeous, hot toys almost always nail the red colouring for their figures

One of the best suits IMO. Most of the, have their own unique charm but this one is special.

Really happy they re released this. One of the best Iron Man suits imo. I just wish it at least came with the neck piece so you have the option to put a Tony Stark head on.

The Mk.46 Reminds me of the Bleeding Edge Armor, from Invincible Iron Man #25.
I also love the detail for the Iron Man & War Machine Armors, from Hot Toys. My fave is the Punisher War Machine, from Future Fight. That's just sick-lookin'!!

I'd love to see capt's shield inside the battle damaged piece. Hot toys always has the very cool yet unexpected details!

thanks Justin! I already have the original Mk 46 so I won't be ordering this version. all the way around, he's a great figure. I think the only thing I didn't like about it was the 21 batteries to plug in. This base in very nice looking, I actually think I prefer the look of this one over the original stand. But then I'm not actually using the stand so it doesn't matter.

I just love the lines on the helmet. Because this helmet is foldable like the Mark 5, there are lines there. I just love that.

Should’ve added a battle damaged face or helmet w the burn marks on his helmet, idk why they wouldn’t when they’d add the chest piece where cap put his shield through

Indeed a great looking armour. As you mentioned the shoulder spring mechanism was a little disappointing but I sorted out the shoulders but inserting pieces of black fabric to stop the light appearing through the gaps so giving a more integrated, seamless look:) Great review

HT will do what's best for them. IronMan is their bread & butter and they'll do 2.0 or 2.5 etc. For collectors that missed out this is great and for ones that want a upgraded version like Captain America this is also cool. I see them going into the well and bringing more 2.0's. Great Video as always Justin.

Really hope this makes it to the states at some point. I really don't think it's worth paying for this guy atm. He costs as much as the original mark 46 in the secondary market or even more right now. Don't understand why hot toys did that.

I am glad I have the original MK 46 funny though I have mine displayed with the avengers endgame updated Tony Stark head sculpt. May not be accurate but it looks awesome. Great honest review Justin as there is not enough offered here to get me to buy both.

Kind of a trend with the Mark 46 exclusives not coming with the Tony headsculpt. My Mark 46 Concept figure didn't have one either.

Is toys wonderland trustworthy? Ive seen the CCtoys GTA V characters and they look good and ive been meaning to buy my first 1/6 figure but im scared of being scammed away for that much money

Their shipping prices are insane, and they tend to drop the ball during sales events so be warned. Do your research online first.
If I get a Tony Stark head sculpt and the neck piece will I be able to remove the iron man head and neck?

You can but there would be a huge gap unless you get the collar piece from the old one

Justin, at the part where you mention the leds, it jist hit me that hot toys from now on will more than likely reissue old iron man figures with usb light up features. So even of iron man wont appear in movies anymore( tony atark at least) HT has a huge backlog of figs they could do 2,0s for for a looong time. Its something that, fortunately, already started with the upcomin mark 1 and mark 3 2,0 versions. What do you think?

Need your assistance. Because of your recommendation I ordered a couple of hot toys figures in Toy Wonderland. Unfortunately its 25 days and still they haven't send my orders. They have send a tracking number but until now its showing items not yet ship. I been sending emails to them almost everyday but until now no one is responding. Hope you can assist on this matter.
