What I’ve noticed in some of the Iron Man movies is when somebody is taking a picture of Tony, he always holds up a peace sign. Tony does this because when he was being driven by army forces in the first movie, the soldier next to him asked him to take a photo and when they took the photo the soldier held up a peace sign. But the army soldier died protecting Tony’s life, so Tony honors the soldier by holding a peace sign every time somebody takes a photo of him.

Looking back, weren’t they referring to the Arc Reactor itself? They seemed to use the materials for the supposed Jericho missles to make the suit if I remember correctly. Could be wrong, just addin to it

that's literally the entire plot of "armor wars" in the comics
if you don't know, in armor wars, people have been high jacking tony's equipment for suits and using them for evil schemes all over the planet, causing tony to have to travel across the globe in some of his more equipped suits in order to stop them, accidently making the avengers turning against him in the process
