You can’t really go wrong with either. I prefer Apple Music, but I do keep Spotify around for recommendations. One thing a lot of people forget to mention is iCloud Music Library and Smart Playlists. Mac Music and Windows Apple Music are really powerful and customisable.

I used both services but i find spotify algorithm for songs is way much better i always find my type of music with spotify so no I’m stuck with spotify even though I’m using apple devices and AirPods.

I have tried the two , but when I make Spotify Audio loud and the equaliser , the sound becomes fantastic from Apple, especially when I make the Dolby on, the sound becomes very low and lossless audio need a wired headphones in 2023 !? Of course any one will use airpods or any bluetooth headphones

Spotify's algorithm is far superior then Apple Music but Apple Music's UI is far superior than Spotify's. Go figure! Merge the two.
Is it tho? Why is it that i have 2642 songs on my piked playlist, but whenever i click ‘random’ it literally plays the same 20 songs?
Apple Music is messy. It keeps recommending same songs and artists, songs play at different volume levels. It’s not the easiest to navigate

I find Spotify interface cleaner and better lay out. It has better playlists and recommendations in my option. Apple Music interface is a bit messy. Unless you have expensive headphones or audio equipment, having spatial audio or Dolby atmos doesn’t make a big difference. Not all songs on Apple Music play at same volume. Spotify for the win

Apple wins. Spotify shuffle sucks. Spotify audio quality is inferior. Spotify no Atmos. Spotify limited to 10,000 downloaded tracks per device vs 100,000.
I thought I was the only one that notice this but everytime I shuffled a playlist of mine almost every time was the same set of songs first on Apple Music it shuffles way better.
