This is the best streaming platform review I’ve seen! Really like how you recommended each platform based on someone’s needs. I’ve been a long time user of Spotify but I’ve been switching over to Apple Music because even tho I can’t use lossless with my headphones bc they aren’t compatible I can listen a difference in quality compared to Spotify. But I keeps switching back and forth because I love that you can control Spotify on other devices from my phone and keeping up with followed artists new music. I use Spotify because it was recommended by a friend. Starting to think I should switch to apple. I really want the option of listening to music and the complete album in chronological order. So really they all do that.
I keep flip flopping! Currently trying YTM. I thought the lack of podcasts was going to sink it, but you can manually add the podcasts Rss feed to TH-cam music and low and behold, all my podcasts are now available (when none were originally). TH-cam's shuffle so far seems better, but also, using the app I found a workaround to recreate a playlist with the songs completely randomised, and once through it I can do this again and again. Since I prefer live recordings YTM send to have the most content for me. No lossless options, though. Spotify's idea of shuffling a playlist was killing me with replaying the same songs! Sometimes we just want a genuine shuffle, not you're "idea" of shuffle. At least there is a workaround to get your own music into playlists. I have a heap of music that's not available anywhere, and while Amazon allows me to pay music that's in my music folder on my phone, it will not allow me to include that music in any playlists; so useless! And the app runs like an old dog on my phone! Plus after a while it's shuffling was becoming like Spotify's. Apple was good, but no podcasts, I'm in the android world, and no way to get lossless to my avr as only Bluetooth is available. But at least I could upload my own music.
