    you should probably mention , even tho your level 1 the game also has a hidden mechanic so it still knows your total level. Because of this even if you reset to level 1, you wont get the same massive xp as a real level 1 but as a level 41 character instead

    • @JohnSmithIlIlIlIl
      @JohnSmithIlIlIlIl ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Yeah, that confused me about this game.
      It's different than previous games.
      Healing Exp isn't fixed, so you could spend 2,000 turns getting 1 to 20 and tons of healing staves/Mends/Obstructs/etc.
      Also, in this game, you always want to Upgrade at 10 for base classes because base classes have garbage stat growths.

    • @TheGameLooters
      @TheGameLooters  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I will pin this, as this is totally what I meant by your stats wont change but I didnt add the bit about you leveling slower as your not a true level1. Great stuff, appreciate you!!!

    • @Anteo4ever
      @Anteo4ever ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@JohnSmithIlIlIlIl its not that different (except from Three Houses), as the 3ds era and before used this system, the main difference now is that, it used to be that promoting would set your hidden internal level to at least 21, so by promoting at level 10 you would skip the exp curve of levels 11 to 20 as a trade for better stats and growth rates, which means slower level ups, however in this gamee you keep your internal level at the same spot, so you promote at level 10 and still level up as a level 10 onwards
      Similarly using a second seal keeps your internal level intact, so if you are at internal level 40 and second seal into another class, you are still level 40 and level up as a level 40 unit

    Don’t forget about Edelgards Lineage skill for 20% xp gain and Marths Mercurius which that sword alone doubles XP on the user. I’ve never really found an issue with leveling specific characters. Take them to a map and solo it.

    Am I doing something wrong I stopped playing for like a month or two and now I returned I have many units at level 20 but can’t seem to get past that level , I used the second seals but it won’t get past 20 for some reason , oddly enough I did it with Yunaka don’t remember how ugh..

    Ive got a question. Can a second seal be done twice. For e.g anna. She is axe. I seal her to change to mage. 1-10 i should 2nd seal to sage. But in that 20 sage levels i dont think i hit her growth cap. Can i second seal on sage again? Basically a third seal but with second seal

    • @lyonlele807
      @lyonlele807 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can use them infinitely, the thing is that internally the Unit keeps accumulating levels, so every time you get less and less xp despite being at level 1

      @Ludecil ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I kept my Yunaka as a thief. As a wolf knight, she loses her covert class to become cavalry. This means she no longer gets double avoid in bushes, which is part of what made her so good.

    • @Ludecil
      @Ludecil ปีที่แล้ว

      @@UFCWWE69 as with any class, you'll want to play to its strengths. Wolf knight learns hobble, which helps with their debuffing capabilities. To make use of Hobble, you can inherit Canter on the unit from Sigurd, so that they can cripple the foe from a range and retreat. Daggers are very good in this game when refined, so be sure to do that. Depending on what secondary weapon you gave your wolf knight, you can bring along a complementary weapon like an armorslayer or hammer to hit high defense enemies.

      Class skills are tied to the class. So they don't move over. However, once you learn the class's skill, it is always remembered. Even if you second seal back down to Lv. 1 of that class, you'll retain the skill as long as you hit Lv. 5 once before.

    This will help them get more SP right?

    • @jamesbrandon5162
      @jamesbrandon5162 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      No, SP is gained by taking actions in combat (healing, attacking, etc...), and the amount is increased when wearing Emblem rings and Bond rings. There are a few ways to spam SP gain (Great Sacrifice spam - usually twice in a match - is a good example), but the easiest I've found is removing Alear from your party and clearing skirmishes with few units to focus Exp/SP gain on them.
      Skirmish levels increase based on the internal level of Alear, so either by using a max level Alear (who can no longer gain levels), or removing them from the party, you can effectively freeze the level of the skirmishes that spawn, making the whole process much easier.

    • @idreadFell365
      @idreadFell365 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jamesbrandon5162 look, I’ve noticed the higher level a unit is, the less SP they gain from battle. Most of my units are at the level cap 20 in base classes but one of them is at the level 20 in advanced class. That unit gets like 2 SP after making a killing. I’ve tried great sacrifice and that didn’t give very much.

      James nailed the answer

    • @idreadFell365
      @idreadFell365 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have determined that the amount of SP a unit can get after an action depends on what level your unit are at.

    • @allingbrodniak8819
      @allingbrodniak8819 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@idreadFell365 If you have no Bond/ Engage Ring it's zero SP, I believe Bond rings give SP equal to 50% of your exp and Engage rings give the same amount of SP as EXP. Just farm silver corrupted or spam Great Sacrifice (which exp is tied to how much you heal with it) with a lot of injured allies through use of Corrin's Fire Dragon Vein to get a lot of EXP/ SP quick and you'll still get SP even at max level
