Here's hoping we get a DLC like the one in Awakening where you just kill enemy units for gold till they escape the map or you kill them all. An EXP farming map would be nice as well.
Just get everyone to lv5 with the three houses bracelet (feat. Dimitri and Claude) and inherit lineage for each character.

Same here. And if not, at least go the three houses route where the enemy skirmishes give a lot more gold if you download the dlc.
As it is there is really no good way to make money mid game. Anna grinding is a no go since skirmishes scale and would mean the rest of my party would get destroyed when i used them again.
I think a lot of these guides in regards to skirmishes need to point out that they scale in level so after a certain number of skirmishes they are gonna be at a point of only having advanced class units
I always went insane the first three days, thinking I'm the only one with this problem. Everybody on the internet talking about how to reset skirmishes in order to grind but nobody talking about how hard it will get to train low level characters
@Daki VII a tip for early and late game leveling on weak units is to use micaiah and great sacrifice.
About anna's skill, you want to get her to become either a wolf knight or a high preist as soon as possible, since these are the classes with highest luck growth rates, high preist is much harder to get for anna so wolf knight is a better option first, and later in the game you can go for high preist.
For high priest you can use celica's ring and tiki's ring in the arena and she'll get the proficiencies easily
Came here to say this! Thief also has great luck growths, I think it's only a slight 3rd place to WK
only problem is Anna has bad defense and since skirmishes get stronger you can't just send her into skirmishes by herself after a while. I'm surprised bullions aren't a thing in this game
@@felicepompa938 don't have the dlc, no tiki ring... she does have high mag growth and small strengh growth togh, so high preist is definitly the way to go with her.
She's tied for highest mag, dex and spd in the game too so building her to double magic is a good option.

Farming gold in this game is a pain in the ass, and that most of those require using Anna makes it worse. I just want to use the characters I like. Guess I'll spend the rest of the game broke.

If you have the DLC, you can get a silver card from the Tiki paralogue which reduces the cost of items from shops.

I finished the paralogue and missed the 30% off silver card. I think I missed my opportunity 😭
@@Hikarixhikarixhikari you in fact did not. if you replay the map or find a skirmish on the the map the card will still be there to pick up. just remember a warp staff of some kind.
The Dlc is clearly pay to win lol
past chapter 11, you can do a certain loop to gain gold, albeit slowly. To avoid spoils, a character will join your group that will offer a wyvern riding mini-game between battles. If you score high in the game (I think rank A at least, but I haven't got lower than an S) the companion will give you 3 random, non-exclusive consumable items (elixir, sacred water, antitoxin, vulnerary, torch, hp tonic). You can also sell leftovers from the cafe at 50g a piece. To finish it off, you can refresh all Somniel services and drops by completing any trial at the Tower of Trials. It even counts and can give consolation prizes for failing an Outrealm Trial (vs player party that is AI controlled), but requires that you go through with the fight rather than back out mid fight. Also a good way of collecting silver for smithing.
Here is the secret yall. Get anna beefed up and have your luck as high as possible then run the one time maps that have infinite enemeies spawn. Keep killing the infinite enemy until satisified with gold using Annas skill. The maps are ike, marth, celica, and camilla paralouges, plus ch 20. Celica Paralogue is my favorite. My Anna uses High Priest with Elfire +5 with avoid focus + Thicket + Chrom (for +10 MAG) and she was invincible.
I definitely would do the skirmishes for gold but once I learned that the level is always scaled that got thrown out the window because I then am just going to be way overleveled and overwhelmed just to get a minor amount of gold.
Also P.S. Byleth has the Luck increase modifiers for those who don't have Tiki. (Which is who everyone I have seen used to make some cash.)
I just turned Anna into my Skrimish Gold generator but not part of my main force, it meant my main force couldnt exactly do skrimishes anymore but arena refreshing after every skrimish meant i could just patch them up and level them up that way if i needed to.
@@eludeirkz7961 That's my plan now which I just finished pretty much doing. I however due to limitations actually took Anna as a Thief first and then changed her into a Wolf Knight.
Stat bonuses from Emblems and skills cap at +20, but is that affected by weapon bonuses, too? For example, could you get +10 Luck from Byleth and +10 HP/Luck from Tiki, then further boost your Luck by another 10 from Leif's Light Brand?
EDIT: It in fact does not. I just tested it out, it seems _all_ bonuses regardless of source cap at +20, barring perhaps HP, which I haven't tested.
I really wish there was a better way than Anna. Even with max luck, her ability procs like 1 in 10 times for me..

My other tip is to use Amiibos at the Gazebo and get at least 1000-2000 a day if you can get Elixirs.
Scan five and if one of those 5 is a item of sale value, put it to the side, then DONT save, just go to title screen and start with a new set of 5 amiibos until you identify the ones with the best item value
For the optional battles, can you repeat them or is it a one time thing?
They disappear but after you got back to the somniel new ones will reappear if you do them all
Can you farm gold from tower of trails?
I bought the season pass, i fully expect and demand my gold and exp maps, aren't there any?

Some of the skirmishes are difficult for me i need a level guide for my charactes
Really struggle with this game. Nothing against The Game Looters; this was a very well put together video. But the tip in every video I've seen to farm gold is always use Anna and participate in skirmishes. The problem is Anna doesn't trigger enough gold and the skirmishes scale so fast you can eventually only use the same 8-12 characters to complete said skirmishes. You will never have enough gold to do what you really want because gold requirements (for anything you want to do) are too high and the places to farm gold have enemies that scale too fast, and the gold drops are too low. Been a while since I played Awakening and Fates, but I don't remember feeling this same kind of wall. Don't expect to experience everything in a single playthrough, but damn! Feels like I can't experience anything. And let's be honest, this is not a Fire Emblem you want to play multiple times.
Does anyone have a tip on when the code for fire emblem heroes doesn't work for an odd reason. Bcz I really want that weapons

the DLC Emblem Rings Tiki gives out a lot of Hp/Lck through her skills so she is the best to either give or inherit on Anna to improve her skill

No you can re roll skirmishes by entering any battle > somniel > back to map. But can’t redo , you might wanna hit up the trials
