One thing no one talks about with the flip to the side magnifier. Is that it impeding on your vison when flipped to the side. When its flipped out of the way there is literally a blind spot in your vision. Im starting to see why the higher setting red dot with magnifiers are the way to go because it flips down instead of to the side.
@@HomeMadeTactical thank you so much, bro! Yeah, I guess both have its application. I am still very new to both so I dont have a favorite either. At least not yet…
@@RidinDirtyOutdoors This makes a lot of sense. However being able to use a LPVO at 1x as a red dot is also a huge plus. That is assuming the LPVO is a true 1X. Most budet lpvo’s arent true 1x.
@@DeltaD80 your shooting will be fine but it does slow things a bit. Even half a second could be the difference in life or death. This is why many agencies and operators will run dots (eotech, aim point, etc) yes some run LPVOs also but when their mission is expected to encounter at distance engagements.

Those are super cool!
Excellent content again, as always!
Thank you so much, bro!
Oh I love this topic.
@@coyote.precision.tactical Thanks for watching!!!
LOL, it starts the second most bar fights just behind 45 acp or 9mm.
@@DeltaD80 just like striker fire versus Hammer fire
What about an LPVO with a pig backed red dot?......
Your LPVO speed would be much faster if you use a throw lever. Great comparison between the to best options.
@@SideEffectsR It came in with a throw lever just havent installed it. But youre right. Gon try it!
Solid topic! I love both it’s hard for me to choose

@ If you got a scope switch on an FFP LPVO I think it would be King, but it’s a bit of 💵💵
@ I’ve never tried a FFP LPVO. That gonna be next!
I belive that an lpvo is superior for my purposes
@@fmj8329 not bad choice at all!
I haven't try a magnifier yet bro
@@fmj8329 You should, man. Maybe works for you.
Red dot with magnifier for me.
However if I ever was in a situation requiring consistent engagement past 200yrds I’d want an LPVO

@ up close (sub 100yrds) the extra bulk and non true 1x nature of most LPVOs isn’t as fast with target acquisition and transitions as a red dot.
@ 100% Agree
@@DesertTacticaltrue but even a 1.2 or 1.5 magnification at CQ shooting shouldn't be enough to effect your shooting...
