You say el estepario is the best drummer in the world but he doesn't play with the band and it won't trade chops with anybody this is how you play and these guys have played with bands that other dude doesn't or won't conceited and self-centered
He just likes playing drums - he doesn't want to play in a band. Don't think conceited or self-centred is remotely accurate. By all accounts he is incredibly modest, despite his clear talent.
