At 2:50: Not a trigger, it's a dampening device used to control the tone of the snare. It is brass, magnetic and attaches to the drum hoop, made by a company called Snareweight. Kevin P's videos have been impressive as well. Honorable mentions to "sweaty guy #1", and "drummer drums while watching drum cam footage guy"
Tons of killer drummers… but you need to get the guy who can continue writing this type of music
Damn....its gonna be INSANELY hard to replace Spencer...hes such a ridiculous machine for the entire song while doing switches, gravity, fills, softer sections, accents with the blasts, and more. To do it live, four up to an hour, and touring is gonna narrow it to just a few dudes. That guy doing 360bpm is nuts and should get it imo
You guys have me busting up laughing 😂🤘
Rooting for Cole! Hes young, hungry, and he'll kill it fr
We love our BBC (bald by choice) homies.
Our Big Big Chungus's
I'm so glad we get to watch the reactions.
Unfortunately I know my limits and haven't submitted anything but the world is waiting to see who's getting the torch!
Cheers fellas!
"imagine him stirring Risotto" shit had me dying 😂
Yeah that killed me too
No kidding, especially because I fuckin hate stirring risotto lol
Same
This was the best TH-cam video I've seen since Bobby Fingers' "Michael Jackson On Fire Diorama"! Just beautiful!
"kissing his bicep, and he's hung like a demon horse...this might be the guy" 😂💀
Greg A. Smith for this segment. All these guys fucking performed incredibly. Can't wait to watch more of these, the commentary is bringing back the danger in the music!
Oh fuuuuck! This should be hella entertaining to watch. Now I’m also terrified another band might take your ideas for finding their new member.. cause I could find myself getting roasted if they do. Hahaha
Cole Summer Hayes has a great name to be a country singer if this doesn't work out!
James was in the practice space next to me for a few years. AMAZING all around drummer. I think he would crush this gig.
0:38 so you're looking for El Estepario Siberiano...?
This was hilarious and educational. Thank you. Have y'all looked into that one Hispanic dude who drinks coffee and smokes cigars while he plays. He seems pretty solid.
el estepario siberiano? He’s insane
If you don't know much about drums, let Spencer himself choose his successor
At 2:50: Not a trigger, it's a dampening device used to control the tone of the snare. It is brass, magnetic and attaches to the drum hoop, made by a company called Snareweight. It is an excellent choice to reduce the ring and some of the undesirable overtones of the snare without choking off the volume and projected character of the drum. It is known to professional drummers, so this shows the drummer has thought a lot about the sound of his kit.
Kevin got over 150k on his 3 videos. That's your guy
John Longstreth would be so badass with yalls!!
That was a lot of fun!
I was looking for the first guys YT, but you guys had him already!! I digged this guys style!!
Riccardo "Tupa Tupa" Merlini is also 🤘
What you guys need to make sure and do, if you're really unsure, is send these videos to Spencer and have him tell you what he thinks. Unless he just doesn't talk to you anymore.
this video was amazing lmao! As a guitar player, my uneducated opinion is Greg Smith & Kevin Paradis from the audition videos I've seen! Hope yall find someone soon
I feel like the audition process has hair this air of seriousness to it, a lot of drama about faked recordings and such, so to see the guys take it not at all seriously is hilarious 😂
This was great to watch. Love you guys!
