  • Here are my Favourite Films from the 2010's, ordered 1 (favourite) to 25.
The clips used here are for criticism and commentary within the bounds of fair use. This is a transformative effort with different expression (commentary and positive criticism) and different in character relative to the original works. The amount and substantiality of the portions used in relation to the work as a whole is a minimum necessary. These clips avoid story spoilers and inclusion here does not negatively affect the market value of any of these works. This video is not for profit.

As predicted I haven't seen many of these films haha. Modernity passes me by Steve. I'll see them in ten years if I'm still around.

I hope this video encourages you to seek out a film you’ll love. Another 2010’s film you might like if you’ve not already seen it is Paterson. It’s a very mellow Jarmusch, like Mystery Train, even including a typically quirky Japanese tourist.

@@steve4films thanks Steve. I love Paterson. Myself and nazarinprod are doing a steel book podcast tomorrow and I have a plain archive edition of Paterson. The Japanese tourist is nagase masatoshi who was in mystery train. As I have dabbled in mediocre poetry I really identified with the film. Thanks Steve.

Nice list with a few surprises (I was bored with Vast of Night). Surprised not to see Whiplash, The Hunt, I Saw The Devil, We Need To Talk About Kevin, Parasite or The Handmaiden making your list.
Under The Skin is a masterpiece so glad to see that making your top 25.

Thanks Man. Of the films you mention I think Parasite is one of the best of the decade and of this millennium and almost made my favourites list. Thanks for subscribing. Steve

There's a few I've got and haven't got around to watching and a few I need to pick up. Obviously not enough life left to watch them all though. Always good, discerning choices Stevie.

I think you’d appreciate most of these (possibly with the exception of the 2 Wes Anderson films and the 2 Ryan Gosling films 🤔)

Dem wuz sum gud films and I espeshully like all the action scenes. However, in Fury Road the distruckshun of the cars is all CGI and I miss the days when they just akshully blew stuff up. Nice work Steve. Keep em cummin.

The car crash in Fury Road is real and practical. Not CGI. It’s just like the old Mad Max films. That’s one of the great aspects of that film.
