Turkish airlines was by far the best airline I used. I flew economy in 2021. As he states alot of walking at the new istanbul airport, I was grateful I wore a good pair of runners. Amazing airport!

Update on the taxis (I was there 1 week ago): taxis have gone really corrupt in Istanbul. They will usually only accept tourists that speak a foreign language, especially from the touristy areas. They will charge illegal prices and/or drive out of their way for the meter to go up. If you are going to/from the airport, reserve a private shuttle, or ask the hotel to call a legit taxi. Despite that, Istanbul is a beautiful city, and I totally recommend going there, as well as the rest of Turkey.
So true. As a 20-year-old Istanbul resident myself, I can easily say do not take a taxi unless you know every single bit of the city. So, a taxi is already a pass for people like me who knows certain areas better and it has to be a big no-no for the tourists. Uber is legal here so I recommend people to take it instead since its pricing is calculated by the app and not the distance traveled. If you want to go cheap you can always pick up a bus but you are warned, they are too crowded, people standing up can squeeze each other enough that not one falls or gets shaken during a hard brake.
as a Turkish person, I suggest you use an application called BiTaksi so you can see the price and see the stats of drivers. And also uber came back to Istanbul again but it's just only for taxi drivers , by that way you can have a safe and no-hustle trip. Especially if you landed at Sabiha Gokcen Airport go out a little bit and call a taxi by applications which I mentioned before. Don't ever use airport taxis. They even charged the fees in double when the Ataturk Airport attacked by ISIS and they didnt accept any turkish people on their cars .

If you are staying in Taksim area, just take the shuttle bus. It's fast, it's cheap. My fiancé and I took the shuttle bus to and from the airport the second time we were in Istanbul (he took it both times). It was absolutely the best way to get to Taksim area for a low cost without a hassle.
imo turkish airlines has the best food and the best response to last-minute/emergency requests and needs, and i've only ever flown with the economy class

I had absolutely the best journey with Turkish Airlines. I flew from Birmingham to Istanbul in Business Class and the flight attendants were absolutely the most kind and caring people I’ve ever met! The company helped me a lot due to the big hurricane “Ciara” *if I remember right* as well! My friend who was flying with Lufthansa cancelled her flight 3 times and still they offered her nothing. To me, They only cancelled it once and they gave me free stay at a 4 stars hotel with free transportation and free breakfast! Never gonna forget this experience ❤️ 🇹🇷

I flew Turkish Airlines Business Class from LAX to IST and I was very disappointed with the onboard service! Flight attendants were not very kind and didn't care about taking care of their passengers. They did the bare minimum of service (didn't replenish water or wine glasses, didn't go around the cabin to ask if there was anything else the passenger wanted) I even had a flight attendant in business class NOT SMILE EVEN ONCE! EVERYTIME i WOULD THANK HIM, HE NEVER SAID: "You are Welcome" or "Enjoy your meal" "Bon Appetite" HE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING AND DIDN'T CARE OF TAKING PRIDE IN HIS WORK!" In the future, I will give my business instead to Qatar Airlines or Emirates.

My favorite First Class (Business) Airline experience. Never had any troubles with the WiFi. Overly solicitous crew “No I can tuck myself in thank you.” 😂 I loved watching the flight path. Turkish newspapers are eye opening. I spent several weeks in UAE ; Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The best food I had was on the Turkish AirLines Business class flights. I still have my minarets.
By far my favourite travel blogger! TK are great. One of my favourite airlines. I generally always seem to place a good 73% of my basing on their food offerings though so probably why Turkish feature so high.
Turkish Airlines might have good service but it's one of the most dangerous airlines in the world. Especially the pilots and engineers are known to be very unprofessional.

Lounge: food, food,food ,food and food, business center, meeting room, kids area, crafts area, play stations, library, movie and theatre are and what the fuck is it......😂😂😂
I use Turkish Business Class at least twice a year (until Covid emerged) from Manchester UK via IST to S. Africa, either Durban or Cape Town and return, they are absolutely superb. The Comfort, Catering and Level of Service is consistently every bit as good as you describe. In my experience the service on the ground is equally good and, the lounge at IST....... simply Wow !! One other aspect I can add is- As an Elderley (long-time retired) passenger who travels alone, assistance for the less mobile is equally attentive. Definitely my first choice Airline. I have used other Middle Eastern carriers on the same routes who, whilst good don't in my experience quite come up to Turkish standards, also for me the TK flight schedules are better with fast transits at IST.
I travelled Turkish airline in 2019 biz class from JFK and back and the service onboard is fantastic as is the biz class lounge at Istanbul at the old airport. The new airport was still under construction. Will recommend to everyone.
Istanbul's international airport is quite nice. I stop there often during my trips and I have a great experience every time from LAX to where it is I'm flying to.

Flew with a lot of airlines, my favorites were Turkish Airlines and Emirates, but Turkish Airlines were the best by far, the service and especially the food was just👌
Turkish is a great airline with a young fleet. If you fly regularly with them, the food choice is not that diverse. Other than this, highly recommend. Great video!

Turkish is amazing, butttt their customer service is terrible! I was supposed to go to Pakistan last month from Atlanta. I had to reschedule for later this year because of everything going on. When I spoke to the first guy, he immediately got an attitude with me and told me to call back later. He completely disregarded what the website said about rescheduling. I called again and I got everything fixed with the lady I spoke with. Now I received another notification saying my new rescheduled flights were canceled. So now I have to call them back and try to have them just open my ticket. This is because they refused to give me a refund. So I’m not a happy customer. But I do love flying with them.

I use Turkish Business Class at least twice a year (until Covid emerged) from Manchester UK via IST to S. Africa, either Durban or Cape Town and return, they are absolutely superb. The Comfort, Catering and Level of Service is consistently every bit as good as you describe. In my experience the service on the ground is equally good and, the lounge at IST....... simply Wow !!
One other aspect I can add is- As an Elderley (long-time retired) passenger who travels alone, assistance for the less mobile is equally attentive.
Definitely my first choice Airline.
I have used other Middle Eastern carriers on the same routes who, whilst good don't in my experience quite come up to Turkish standards, also for me the TK flight schedules are better with fast transits at IST.

I travelled Turkish airline in 2019 biz class from JFK and back and the service onboard is fantastic as is the biz class lounge at Istanbul at the old airport. The new airport was still under construction. Will recommend to everyone.

Istanbul's international airport is quite nice. I stop there often during my trips and I have a great experience every time from LAX to where it is I'm flying to.

Flew with a lot of airlines, my favorites were Turkish Airlines and Emirates, but Turkish Airlines were the best by far, the service and especially the food was just👌

Turkish is a great airline with a young fleet. If you fly regularly with them, the food choice is not that diverse. Other than this, highly recommend. Great video!

Turkish is amazing, butttt their customer service is terrible! I was supposed to go to Pakistan last month from Atlanta. I had to reschedule for later this year because of everything going on. When I spoke to the first guy, he immediately got an attitude with me and told me to call back later. He completely disregarded what the website said about rescheduling. I called again and I got everything fixed with the lady I spoke with. Now I received another notification saying my new rescheduled flights were canceled. So now I have to call them back and try to have them just open my ticket. This is because they refused to give me a refund. So I’m not a happy customer. But I do love flying with them.
Turkish Airlines is not a Middle eastern Airline. You literally took off from the European continent

American air travel has become an ordeal. Long lines every step of the way, rude security people terrible waiting areas, uncomfortable seats on the plane no food, , no amenities. . what more can one say??
The three pieces of luggage doesn’t apply on United’s restrictive economy on which you can only have a personal item and yourself.
When you buy the bottom of the barrel basic fare on UA, AC, LH, and a few other *A carriers, none of your benefits apply.
Turkish Airlines might have good service but it's one of the most dangerous airlines in the world. Especially the pilots and engineers are known to be very unprofessional.
