I’m glad Coop and Mel a.k.a. Mini Coop came along on this passage and had a good time, they seem like wonderful people. Ty for you service. About 24:30 Jason mentions the water temperature is 28.9 degrees Celsius. I believe that’s 84 degrees Fahrenheit if I did that right. I didn’t realize the water was that warm, that’s fantastic. The air temp. is what, about 88 degrees? Great video as usual. I agree with Coop that I appreciate the work you both do on your videos. Safe travels Wynns

Nice to see a Hokulea hoodie 😉. I remember the boat on its circumnavigation arrived in Maputo Mozambique where I was living and on leaving got its anchor fouled. I was giving my big powerboat a 6 monthly outing and was driving to see the boat and the crew asked if I could help them get the anchor unstuck. 2 of the crew jumped onto my boat and we floored it with power in a semicircle and the anchor came loose which they were very thankful for. I got given a T shirt and signed crew picture ☺️
it's really nice to hear the professional captain talking very well like in a crew ship explaining the weather and all boat situations..ur guest there..
Most of us know how hard you work, but it was nice of your guests to acknowledge it and give you your props after experiencing it first hand. Love that you all learned things from each other too. Happy sails to you all.

Might be a good idea to have a decibel meter to baseline the sound of your equipment to then know if things are out of wack. Also put that hearing protection on when working in these spaces.
Taking care of a home on land is no different, just different tasks. I vacuum at least once a day living off a gravel road and dust sometimes 2 times a day. Then there's all the washing, cooking, cleaning...same as you. Hubs is always repairing something, there's never an end to maintenance. Such is life. At least it's relatively safe here.
It’s Sunday and you are here with us once again! So happy to be with you on this adventure of life. Thank you for posting this and sharing your time with us. Be safe!

Cool video. I enjoyed all 43 minutes & 59 seconds of it too. I liked in the beginning when Mini-Coop and Nikki were spraying and scrubbing the deck in unisom. The hard work and the challenge is what makes the rewards so sweet. We need contrast in our lives. If everything is soft and easy we can't appreciate the good things. And it's great to work hard, sweat and not quit and then feel the gratification of what you've earned. Yours is a life earned. Your experiences have come from your willingness to take risks and to meet challenges head on and for that you can always look upon where you are with pride and satisfaction. Years ago it would have been safer, easier, more comfortable to stick with a land based RV, but you went for it! You are an inspiration.
On your recommendation, my wife and I started AG-1 several months ago. We have noticed several improvements in our health and wellbeing. We are in our early 70’s and have done away with all other supplements. Great episode, thanks for sharing.
Wow, that is great to hear. As we get older, we know some supplements are beneficial and so far, we really like it for the simplicity and no pill swallowing. We feel a noticeable difference too on the rare occasions we run out of it.
Nikki and Jason, you are both so smart. You inspired hubby and me to buy an RV and sell everything else. We've been full-timers for eight years. It is our little house; we don't even have a storage unit! Anything we own travels with us. We enjoy your sailing videos. Thank you!
I've been talking to ground control on the radio at busy international airports for twenty years it's still intimidating more often than not. It boils down to who are you calling, who are you, what do you want, and don't be afraid to ask to repeat if anything is unclear, ATC sucks at using mics sometimes too
Talk about intimidating, I was a radio operator in the Marine Corps and my first ti.e in the field it was my time to be radio chief, basically putting me in charge of network traffic and somebody gets on the radio and starts using personal names, ranks and locations so I, a private end up telling a captain he's not using proper radio discipline and to hand the radio over to the local radio operator. I wasn't sure if I was going to get screwed for that or not. Fortunately I did the right thing and it all worked out ok, but my nerves!

@shanepaynter5591 I'm not sure why that's pertinent as you haven't used the term curve-ball in this thread. It sounds like you just get panicked easier than I do. Don't feel ashamed about that though. It happens. Maybe what you should be embarrassed about is starting drama in the YT comments. That's pretty juvenile.

G’day all, I am an 18 year airborne veteran and I HATE umms sooo much. I understand you and sympathise 🤯🤣 I guess that comes from being an instructor and knowing how to speak when giving a lesson, it also shows you know the subject you were talking about. Have a great time whilst you’re on the boat with the Wynns. 👍😁
Nikki and Jason, I’ve watching you since about 6 months after you began sailing, and after all this time, I must say that if I had the time, I could watch you non stop for hours on end! Still love you both more than ever, God bless.
Great episode and it must be nice for you all to hear others with knowledge of the seas praise the efforts you make every week to turn out these great episodes. Thanks for sharing.
Whether its the worlds greatest coast guard or not, I'll tell you, our coast guard is top notch. Now, when the guys are off duty, they can get a little sloppy, I've been there. But, on duty, no slackers in that group. I've mostly been over on the cold pacific, although I did spend some time in AK. Nome. But, not as a Coasty, I am a radio tech. I worked on your big and smaller radios, Mountain top and on the boats. Never in a Copter though. I've seen you rescue my friends from rivers and boats . In the Pacific North Coast of California it can get REALLY GNARLY ! Really rough at times. They always came through.
Thanks so much for "the sounds of superlight wind sailing" at the 11 minute mark. I could close my eyes and imagine myself lying on the port tramp of Curiosity as she slowly glides along. Ahhhh....
I loved this episode❤❤❤❤ What a delightful couple Mel and Coop are. Nikki and Jason you always give us the very best and I appreciate what you put into every minute for us. I recognized some of the sea creatures because I have been a huge fan of the expeditions by NOA, Schmidt Ocean Institute and R/V Falkor, the explorations of Bob Ballard and the E.V.Nautilus, all with ROV’s. Seeing you encounter some of these creatures cousins at much more shallow depths is fascinating❤Safe passage wherever you are off to next❤️❤️Looking forward to next week. Admiration from CT ,US
F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S! What a great video. I agree with all the others - it's great to see you "out and about" again. And the Coopers as your guest crew. What a delight. Looking forward to the stories and sharing of knowledge next time!
My advice for your Coast Guard crew thinking of becoming cruisers is to rent boats for a week or two as a test. We did 7 -14 day bare boat charters on catamarans 40 -45 feet before we decided this is what we want to do. Yes, sail on local boats and learn all you can. Then fly out (no bareboat charter fleet in Hawaii that I could ever find) and do a charter just the 2 of you. See if you really like it. Maybe do the first charter with friends as crew, then do a charter just the 2 of you. We had done many bareboat charters and bought a Lagoon 42 in March. Sailed it 4 months in the Bahamas and loved it. We will be going back out in a few weeks to sail until June. We bought the boat from a couple who spent a lot of time and money fixing it up just how they wanted it. Then they went out and discovered they were not long-term sailors. An expensive lesson for them. Just so they know, we spend a lot of time relaxing, snorkeling, scuba diving, exploring; and less time on passage than the Wynns. If you own a boat, you can go as fast or as slow as you want. When we stop, we may stay 1 night, or we might stay 3 nights if we like it. The next day we may do a short sail, or we might sail all day or do an overnight passage. You get to pick what you want to do with weather and distance limitations. Yes, I spend time doing maintenance on a boat, but not all day every day. Good Luck!
Happy Sunday! Great video with the Wynns and friends. You have to wonder how sailors achieved ocean crossings without all of the modern mapping conveniences.
If you like the whirlpools, boils and current eddies, come to the Salish Sea. With the San Juan and Gulf Islands straddling the border, we have every wind and current combination. Our water and air are not always warm though
If I have not said it lately, thank you so much all the work you do! I have traveled with you for years and have enjoyed the journey because you guys are awesome people!

It was so cool to meet Mel and Coop. Hopefully one day we will see them on their own vessel here on the tube! Great little series! Thanks guys, for all the hard work and bringing the world to us. ❤
Your crew is right, nobody can imagin, how much work it all is !! Good job wynns!
Aaw, that was Adorable the way you fixed Jason’s hair Nikki as he started talking.
Another great adventure. Love your crew for this week. Look forward to hearing their coast guard tales.
😎Very enlightening I grew up on Monterey Bay, surfing and working party boats, never sailed and want no part of it. But you are fun to watch.😎
I don’t think most people realize how much time is needed to produce good videos. Great job has always and loved the guest crew
Thanks so much for "the sounds of superlight wind sailing" at the 11 minute mark. I could close my eyes and imagine myself lying on the port tramp of Curiosity as she slowly glides along. Ahhhh....
The hard is hard, but the beautiful is stunning! ❤❤ PS thank you for the ode to curling. 🇨🇦 🥌🇨🇦🥌🇨🇦
For certain, GWTW's is the best sailing video channel!
Wow fantastic vlog as always now can’t wait for the next one ❤️❤️❤️your crew are amazing and you show how it’s done thanks again ❤️❤️❤️❤️
So enjoyed your company this video flew by !!! Thanks 😊 ❤
Recruiting coasties for crew! What a win.
Them Coasties are so ready!!!!
My tip for new sailors is to go get involved with your local yacht club and start racing as crew. That super accelerates your learning.
Its super fun watching an aircraft pilot, pilot a seacraft. Mel- jackie of all trades! Aslo Jason's hair👉full time job. lol
😂Jason's hair looks more and more like a "comb over"
Fabulous video with really fun crew - even I learned a lot just watching! Food looked awesome! Well done! Thanks! 🙏 ❤
So pumped for the next video with Coop weighing in on SAR stories!
Maintenance is everywhere. I feel like the hardest part of sailing is figuring out where you were going to 'park it'.
I like Mel . She’s got a great personality .
Seeing you washing the windows , I'm thinking you are so happy to be away from those old curved windows on your last boat
I love watching all you two and your crew do. I used to sail but my age I can't anymore so love watching .
Good Luck!
Great episode-thank you Mel, Coop, Nikki, and Jason for sharing a page of you life with us. All the best.
Happy Sunday! Great video with the Wynns and friends. You have to wonder how sailors achieved ocean crossings without all of the modern mapping conveniences.
I’m betting that sleeping well was not a given until the next port of call was complete.
If you like the whirlpools, boils and current eddies, come to the Salish Sea. With the San Juan and Gulf Islands straddling the border, we have every wind and current combination. Our water and air are not always warm though
I hope the boat gets easier to deal with for you guys!!!! I’m rooting for you 🎉❤😊
Love Mel and Coop, they are a COOL couple, hope y’all keep in touch and we see them again down the road!.
Thank you for all the work you put into your videos! Could watch all day!
If I have not said it lately, thank you so much all the work you do! I have traveled with you for years and have enjoyed the journey because you guys are awesome people!
everyday i cannot sleep well.... always dreaming to own a yacht & go traveling around the world like you both
Your work is looked forward to and loved. The longer video went by in the blink of a eye that's how good you are. More longer videos please.
Hello Nikki and Jason the radio man,
Thank you for another interesting look at your HH44. Coop and Mini Coop just helps confirm that, most Humans are good people who make our world go around. Cheers from Canada.
Those 2 love-bird Coasties are awesome… I can tell immediately they are experienced sailors… and that’s a Good thing, believe me. Would sail off-shore w them any day or night
Just like washing your car. As soon as your done, it rains!
Another great video with excellent videography, editing, music, etc. You guys are pros! Thank you!
