Clean-up day. Spent a lot of time at the mall this weekend but only got to see more clean-up of parking deck rubble. Looks like the bridges from the deck to the mall will stay for now.
The main sign along 51 is still there, as are the Entry signs at the doors of the mall. However, two of the smaller directory signs at the alternative entrances to the parking lot have been destroyed, with a third set to be scrapped when they reach that part of the parking deck.
That would be cool, but it won’t happen, at least not as a shopping mall. The area where Century III is located is heavily over-retailed. The DSW shoe store next to the mall just closed on Saturday.
Imagine if they made this into a public space, like say a park with a bandshell.
That's an awful idea and you're a bad person
Uncalled for.
Just another symbol of America's decay.😮
Were the JCPenney Signs on the other side of the store removed as well? If so, is it possible to see a label scar on them?
Yes, all signs were removed. Label scars are barely noticeable.
@@MrTsolar What if they build a new Century 3 Mall after demolishing the old one?
Do you think they took down the main entrance Century 3 sign?
