How are you, my friend, I already use APM 2.6 and I'm trying to mount an antenna, but how should I do it? Are there any tutorials for setup and configuration?
I almost feel like you would get more gain simply by raising a single antenna higher, than you do by having two that close to the ground. The fresnel zone for 1500m would be about 10m diameter for 900 mhz. In my experience with those antennae (with ubiquiti rockets) simply getting them higher in the air by 10-15ft often gives a considerable boost in signal (10db sometimes) whereas adding a second antenna, at most, can only add 3db. Now I suppose you are getting away with a little extra due to the high angle you are aiming so that may be working in your favor. That hill could also have more drop than I can tell on camera so maybe you are getting enough clearance. Just some thoughts.
