Fitted my E39 530i with PS2 rear axle and PS3 front today - all round significant improvement from the Maxx TT. PS2-PS3 traction is absolutely outstanding.
Excellent job reviewing these tires! I just put a set on my C6 Z06 and while I haven’t had a chance to work them in warm temps I have gotten a chance to do some “spirited” driving in 50 degree temps. The PSS blew my mind! They gripped like other brands do on an 80 degree day. I hope the grip continues improve as the temps increase. So far very happy. Just installed tires on 12/26/17.
You have discovered one of life's secrets... Michelins are simply in a class of their own. Many (top of the line) Michelins on my trucks throughout a 5 million mile career taught me this lesson. Only one caveat in many years of owning nothing but Michelins for our 4 wheelers as well. Pilot Sports on the wife's '01 A-6 were too "high performance" for her and lasted only 2 seasons. On snow they would go but not stop. My fault. Next set were PS3 All Season. "Outstanding." Have them on older muscle car and the 993. LTX A/S3 on the 4wd Ford F150 are top rated by Tire Rack and "awesome." imo. Bottom line? You get what you pay for with Michelins AND you get it for a longer period of time cancelling out the extra cost up front. Just one old timer's experience. Excellent videos by the way.
Great job, guys!! So stoked to see how many followers you have!! I found this because I need new tires soon and I searched for super sport review and your video is the first result. #proud
Thank you for the great review! I have a 2014 Mazda 3 and just got these tires! Looking forward to how they do on the new Mazda. How have them been since the initial review?
What a fantastic review! I have these tires and LOVE them! In fact, I live in Utah and drove on them during the winter and literally never once slipped/slid, etc. I drive a BMW 535i XDrive, so I'm sure that helped, but the tires are incredible. 100% satisfied as well. Thanks for your work on the review!
In 1989, I bought the third SHO sold in MS (my first new car); less than 10k miles later, the cord was showing through all 4 OE Eagles; then I got the shock of my life (at least up until then): the only other car with that size tire was the Acura NSX, so Goodyear wanted almost 500 bucks per tire, before installation! In 1989! Frankly, that wasn't in my budget, but I needed the car every day -- so I drove delicately for a few days while I shopped for alternatives; none of the other brands marketed anywhere in central MS had what I needed (or so claimed all the main vendors). Back then, the SHO was a decent performer (15.1 @ 94-95 mph despite a sluggish 7.6-second 0-60 time, 142 mph top speed that it could hold all day long with no problems, respectable cornering -- I can't recall the g-meter numbers, but they were way higher than most people would believe). The OE tires were V-rated and Goodyear offered no lower-rated tires in the P215/65-15 size; they gave great fuel economy (up to 36 mpg between fillups, but I usually got 28 in rural driving with the cruise on and speeds between 75 and 90) -- but no matter how hard I drove the car, they never warmed up. This concerned me, as I felt the tires were leaving a lot on the proverbial table. In desperation (and partly out of depression), I stopped at Super Shops to ask if anyone there had any ideas; that store carried Kelly Charger HRs, which were as you doubtless know, H-rated. They were also well under $400 per set, installed with new stems and caps, balanced to perfection -- and that's the all-in price, including road hazard protection, tire disposal fees and taxes: everything! And the Kellys were in-stock (Goodyear wanted my cash up front, plus "a week to ten days" to order and receive the tires from their depot). I wrote the check while the salesman was telling me all the goodies that were included, the terms of the road hazard warranty, etc. Less than half an hour later, my SHO had new shoes -- and their grip was phenomenal when contrasted against the OE Goodyears. The Kellys were cheap enough I could have replaced several sets a year without even thinking about it, so I pushed them as hard or harder than I had pushed the Eagles. Ordinarily, more grip translates to a shorter tread life, but the Kellys seemed as though they'd last nearly forever: I put 34,000 more miles on them, and the molding "hair" was still visible on the sidewalls and prominent tiny circles where they had been on the face of the tire were visible. The Kellys cost me about 2 mpg across-the-board, and they cut my top speed to 135 -- but on them, my SHO ran 14.860 @ 101.0 in the standing-start quarter mile (which is a freaky mph for that e.t.). The Kellys didn't give anywhere near the warning the Goodyears gave when they were thinking about losing lateral traction, but they provided a lot more ultimate grip -- so (for people who know what they're doing), getting spectacular results wasn't too difficult. It seems as though you're having a similar experience in switching from the OE Dunlops to the Michelins better suited to your driving needs and style. Kudos!
+Corazon del Oro Did the SHO have those weirdly sized wheel/ tire combo that one model Mustang of that period had too? Answer of course was new wheel/ tire combo from Tire Rack.
I will say out of all of the videos for the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, this vid is number one‼️ I just ordered a set of these today May 1, 2017 for my 2005 Mustang GT...two rear tires will arrive within days from California & the rear's are 295/30/20. The fronts, 255/35/20, just left 🇫🇷, so no worries on the week/Year code‼️ Thanks again for sharing your vid‼️ PS I payed $1540.00 total with certificates and of course install from Discount Tires. 😎
You seem like a good driver girl, you should make a video ripping through those gears to see how well you do! Thanks for the video, the sidewall contraction of the tire actually taught me something very useful.
Very helpful info, but would recommend also using a gopro camera on the roof ,on the drivers side so we could see the type and size of road you are testing .thanks keep up the good work . Art.b North Hill Ca.
Running a set 19" on our 2014 Mazda 6 we are up to 47,000 miles with plenty of life remaining. What pressure are you running on highway daily driving use I see the recommended max is pretty high at 50 psi.
ive had these on my car for over 25k kms and hands down these are the best tyres ive ever had on my car. The performance is second to none and there is still plenty of tread left on them. They last for ages considering they are a high performance tyre which usually dont last long at all.
What where the brands of the tires that you had installed on the Speed 3 before the Michelin?. I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know, so that I don't make the mistake of purchasing does tires, thanks for the review.
Heriberto Rivera These are the tires we've had on this car: - Dunlop SP Sport 2050 (Stock tires), they were the ones with the excessively hard sidewall and were hit and miss for steering feel and handling. They also wore heavily on inside tread not matter what type of alignment I had. By the end of their life the inside tread was down to the cords while the middle and outside had 50% life remaining. - Hankook Venus V12 EVO2, they didn't have good traction when punching the throttle or off the line but otherwise the handling was nimble. Tread wear was decent. Overall a good tire I just need more traction. - Nitto Invo, the traction was good but the steering feel and handling was poor. The sidewalls seem to be a bit too soft which caused a lot of understeer. Tread wear was not great. Hope this helps!
+everythingdiy here is a photo of my Dunlop's, they dont really last, i now have Bridgestone's which i have to say looks stunning compared to the dunlop with the same milage; facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153176124843146&l=8386be524a
Madman6505 you could run bald winter tires and they'd be better than the dunlops hahaha. Anyway how are the tires? I've got a 16 sti and looking to get a set of these
I have a 370z and the standard yokos that came with it are awful I'm having to replace them at 25k miles due to constant aggressive driving. I wanted to get the SS but was concerned about longevity and was thinking maybe the AS3+ would be a better compromise. Any thoughts??
...And with this, you've done a LOT of pretty intensive upgrades to the performance of you Mazda... Will you be posting some track numbers? What kind of differences can be seen/felt in 0-60, turning radius, stability and handling overall, versus a bone stock Mazda Speed 3?
UnitZER0 We don't track our cars for numbers we do it for the enjoyment of driving so we can't really provide you with any times. I can say versus a bone stock Mazdaspeed3 our car is a lot faster in every way. Not long ago I had the chance to drive a stock Mazdaspeed3 around a track and I have to say it was rather disappointing. Compared to my Speed 3 the power felt sluggish and the handling felt like constant understeer. Switch back to my car was a night and day difference for sure. It makes sense we spent a lot of money on this car to make it faster and sharper and it absolutely worked. Oh and we don't really do 0-60 times because this car is limited by traction. BUT, in the first clip in this video we did log the run with an Access Port. I checked the time and it says 5.6 seconds. Hope this answers your questions! Thanks for watching!
UnitZER0 This car runs out of gears at about 170 mph. I've never tried to go that fast because there's usually not enough space on a track and I don't see a point. I have done 140 mph on straights and it was still pulling but I usually have to let off due to oncoming corners. I'd imagine this car could hit around 160 mph with favorable conditions.
everythingdiy Awesome! Thanks for sharing. It's good to see that there are people out there who still take pride in modding their vehicles themselves, and are kind enough to share it with the rest of us.
I will have to give those tires a go the next time I buy tires for my Speed3. Question though, Do you know of good tires for winter contentions? Or even how those tires handle snow? Great Videos!
Brian Honnigford Max Performance summer tires are definitely not capable of handling snow anything below 6 degrees celsius and they are going to be useless because they are going to be rock solid.
Excellent review, thank you. I'm on the fence about getting these or a set of Nitto 555 G2's for my car. I found the camera shot if the sidewall flexing particularly helpful. keep it up!
***** These tire are really bad in snow. My recommendation is to get a second set of snow tires for the winter months or go with an all season tire. Thanks for watching!
I daily drive my GTR to work in Malaysia and they're sitting on 20 inch BBS wheels with Michelin Pilot Cup Super Sport tyres. Their really comfortable especially when you go above 200km/h because it's so grippy but in town, I notice that they wear out much faster than my Toyo Tires. Nonetheless, driving on a track feels really solid and accurate but you'd better be ready to fork out some cash if you're frequently going to the track
Great clip ! great job ! continue your good work, from the subject, passing by the interest you put in to the refreshing smill you give us, Thank you ! if you ever pass by Montréal, feel free to come try my SLK 55 amg, it yould be a honor to let you drive it for a day, maybe you could make a clip out of it !!!
we had a Mazda 'Speed3' (or MPS as they're called in Australia), and ended up with a really nice set of Pirelli's on them. they were so much better than the Bridgestone's that came stock... anyway, we have a BMW M135i now which has the Super Sports as standard. you're right, they're a great tyre, and if you're not hooning too much you can expect decent life out of them. we just had our first tyre renewal at 51000km (about 32000 miles). :)
Just bought a set of these tires and they are getting installed now. Loved the review, makes me feel that the money was well spent. Curious how they will hold up over that long warranty period. Here's hoping for the best!
+thegnosticone Check the wear, temp traction numbers on the sidewall of the particular size you buy and compare your results when they are done... Installer will write your car's mileage on the repair order and (you will) keep it in the glovebox won't you. The difference in wear v. performance characteristics of the Pilot Sport 2 and Pilot Sport 3 All Season are substantial.
Debating weather to go with these or get a new set of my current tires (Mickey thompson street comp) I love them alot for a guy who does alot of Canyon runs in his 1990 Firebird. But I might give these Michelin tires a try, hope I'm not disappointed.
Hey! My name is Sergio. I just bought a Speed3 and am already looking into modifications. You said your car is at about 300hp? Is that street legal? If not, what do you do when it comes time to smog? And I'm referring to LA laws. Thanks!
+Sergio Lopez, Jr. they probably turboed it. Which will cost a lot of money upfront and in the long run, because maintance cost will be higher, and problems might arise. As far as emissions in LA go, you will not pass any. So you once again, you'll have to keep paying people off. In general, having so much horse power to a front wheel drive is not the best setup. Thats why you do not see 400 Horse power front wheel drive cars.
+2583060 +Sergio Lopez, Jr. It's turbocharged from the factory and extremely reliable even when modified. You can get close to 300 WHP with bolt on flow modifications and a good tune. In my opinion it's not a bad setup, yes the wheels spin in first but with a good set of tires and tune you can have useable power in every gear. As far as emissions, you need to replace the stock intake, intercooler and cat's and you will pass just fine. The way my car currently sits it will pass an emission sniffer test because it's in great running shape, still has a catalytic converter and a stoichiometric AFR while cruising. The only issue would be the visual inspection because obviously in California parts like intakes and intercoolers need carb certifications.
+everythingdiy Nice! So I could replace the exhaust? I'd love to do that, but I don't know which catback would pass. I'm planning on changing the intercooler and the intake with inlet too. Anyway, which exhaust do you use?
+Sergio Lopez, Jr. A cat back exhaust in California is grey area but technically it's not related to emissions so you should be able to change it. As long as it's not over a certain noise limit (93 dB i think) you should be fine. My car uses a 3" Magnaflow cat back and I absolutely love it. I should warn you that adding an exhaust or other flow parts can cause your fuel pump to lose pressure. The stock high pressure fuel pump is not able to keep up with aftermarket parts so the internals will need to be upgraded so it can supply enough fuel for the added flow. If you avoid doing this and add modifications anyway your motor can start running lean and blow up. The majority of people who've blown their engines in these cars are those who neglected to upgrade their pumps. So before any modifications I would recommend that you upgrade the fuel pump first.
+everythingdiy wow, thanks for telling me. I would have done it eventually, but I would have added other parts of you hadn't told me. So your Magnaflow passes smog? I'm not trying to do any crazy mods, just make my already fun to drive MS3 a little more fun...lol And I saw your intercooler video. That doesn't effect smog either? I was looking into getting the Cork Sport radiator and intercooler. What do you think? And thanks again for making all these dope videos! Your a life saver!
you could spend a g on tires then pay for mounting and balancing. i always buy used tires, free mounting and balancing. also no tax. pay cash and negotiate. i am curious how the pilots perform off the line. for that money they should be like butter. can you spin your tires on the wrx?
+Michael nieves Again, if you've snow and no "dedicated" winter tires, try the Pilot Sport 3 All Season. How often does one actually "use 10/ 10ths?" The rest of the time these tires are perfect. I would not normally comment like I am re this original clip but my experience(s) have been that positive!
I also have a 2010 CBM Mazdaspeed with Michelin PSSes. But mine are 245s. I need the extra width because I'm on a BNR S3 turbo and an ethanol FREEKTUNE putting down about 385/380 @ the wheels. I do agree, though: Michelin PSSes are awesome! I have a lot more difficulty hooking than you do, though. But they do a much better job than the other tires I've run.
Can't really say, my car is noisy so it's hard to tell. Noise is the least of my concerns when I'm looking for a tire, I'm usually mostly concerned with traction.
I have to say, the Michelin SuperSport A/S are the best tires I've had for my MS3. I feel like they not only have the best grip, but the best wear for "spirited" driving, as people often refer to it as. I prefer, "drive-it-like-I-stole-it" but that's frowned upon... >_>; They last almost two seasons, I've found, but at the end of the second, they're beautiful racing slicks that offer some superb drifting through cloverleaves (not that I know, or anything...) (I have two sets of wheels; the winter tires being on the stock wheels and summers on spoked rims). My only beef is the 265$ price tag on the tires, give or take, depending on the season, and if you can get a buy 3 get 1 deal, is the only time I feel justified. It's a harsh reality, but either you spend the coin for great all seasons or you eat through Yokohama's in less than a season because they're too soft.
Christopher O'Connor Hard to get more section width onto the stock 7.5" wheel, without just rounding the tire and losing tread width and steering response. Tirerack's specs for that size are from an 8" wheel mount so it could be a slightly narrower than shown on the MS3's 7.5" wheel. Kinda interesting though, the PSS in a 215/40/18 section width size measures the same actual tread width as the OEM version of Dunlops from the Gen2 225/40/18, and the Bridgestone 215/45/18 on 7.0" wheels on the Gen1, 7.7" tread width. The Michelins are a way better tire, regardless of size either way.
Where can I find a woman that allows tires in her living room!!! I am so jealous. Have you done a test of all season tires. Those of use in the north and cannot afford summer tires, we only get a single set of tires for all seasons.
+Todd Dembsky I second what Flash_BeeZy wrote. I use to live up north I found it was much much cheaper in the long run to get a second set of wheels (I did a simple wheel package from Tire rack for snow tires). The summer tires out perform All season tires in every way up until almost freezing conditions. Then the show/winter tires out performed the All season tires in every way through the cold and snow. SO I too would highly recommend running two sets of wheels/tires.
+Todd Dembsky Forgot to mention; Running the combination of both I was able to get 4 years at the minimum out of both sets, while I was running All seasons I was only able to get 2 years at the most out of the tires. Let alone all the salt damage to my good set of wheels require I had to have them redone every 3 or 4 years.
How much did they pay you guys? This is the 5th video I've seen where all of you guys literally say the same things almost like you were given a script. Or did you all just watch the same reviews to use their talking points and opinions since you couldn't come up with your own?
Michelin did not sponsor this video, these tires were purchased at full retail price, and the decision to buy them was our own... based on tons of online research. We loved them so much, we decided to post a video about the experience. Eventually, a representative at Michelin did find this video and thanked us for posting our positive review by sending us a "swag bag." That was Michelin's entire involvement in the video, beside manufacturing the tires themselves. I guess the reason other reviews sound so similar is because their tires are undeniably great. I stand by my review 100%.
+everythingdiy Hi. i'm about to change my goodyear eagle f2 , do u advise me to go for the super sport or dunlop? I heard the're pretty good. Thanks Nice video by the way
Spencer Geerlings You must have a smaller tire. I've checked every vendor for my tire size (225 40 18) we got the best price available and that included a rebate. Thanks for watching!
Spencer Geerlings I got the same for $136/tire at tirerack, recently they were $141 with $75 rebate off all four. 18" 225/40 was $186 last time I looked, but it made just as much sense to drop 6lbs of wheel weight and get them shipped mounted and balanced on the new, lighter wheels, albeit with a little extra gearing at 25" diameter vs 25.5". A 40-series would be short in that width.
MrNicholg yeup, same here, tirerack rocks. My FR-S came stock with 17X7 wheels, and to me (I'm a function>form guy) it made sense when I upgraded to keep the same diameter. So now I'm on 17X8.
Great video! Truth be told, I thought you were going to be just another bimbo trying to get TH-cam fame but you seem to know your stuff and you make quality videos. You have a new subscriber, keep up the good work. Only thing I would recommend is working on your delivery to make it sound more natural, it sounds extremely scripted right now
If i buy these tires, does she come with them?
yes
Depends on what you actually do with her I guess
I've always had good results with Michelin tires.
Right.
really cool review. i loved seeing the shots of the tires

This is pretty much the best review I have seen. Think a purchase is in order
awesome review, I've been trying to decide between these and a few other types. The close up shots with the go pro really helped. Subbed :)

Thanks for the video! Trying to get these same tires for my m3 and this review was great. Subbed!
Spencer Berke Vlogs I bought them for my E46 M3 and they are fantastic.
The first tire review I have seen, that tells me what I want and need know.
I just ordered PSS XL for my 2013 Honda Civic Si Sedan . Getting them tomorrow . Pretty darn excited lol

I got bridgestone Potenzas and i seem to get nice traction around corners but when i launch it always spins. Smooth driving and nice fuel tho
man PSS is amazing! had these on my TLX with 19" rim, lowered it. Love the handling!
I have a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport on my G35 and they are fantastic. I do run snow tires in the winter. Great review.

What were the 3 other tires you tried so I can avoid them? Great videos! Thanks!
Thanks for the review thinking of buying these
I just ordered these tires for my 15 WRX. Hopefully they are better than the stock Dunlop Sport Max's.
Any thoughts??
who did the tune on your car and do you have a full mod list?
Quick question, are these the best tires? would you go with Pirelli's?
havent had a problem with my toyo extenza hp's
Armature review Air temp and road temp would be handy to know
...And with this, you've done a LOT of pretty intensive upgrades to the performance of you Mazda...
Thanks for watching!
everythingdiy 5.6? Impressive! Sounds like you've assembled a sweet ride!
What's it top out at?
UnitZER0 This car runs out of gears at about 170 mph. I've never tried to go that fast because there's usually not enough space on a track and I don't see a point. I have done 140 mph on straights and it was still pulling but I usually have to let off due to oncoming corners. I'd imagine this car could hit around 160 mph with favorable conditions.
everythingdiy Awesome! Thanks for sharing. It's good to see that there are people out there who still take pride in modding their vehicles themselves, and are kind enough to share it with the rest of us.
+everythingdiy she is so sexy
Hows the ride do you feel it more or is a smooth ride ??
wonder how these will work on my 2012 gt500, probly smoke them in 1st bad
What's the difference between these and pilot sport 4's??
I will have to give those tires a go the next time I buy tires for my Speed3. Question though, Do you know of good tires for winter contentions? Or even how those tires handle snow? Great Videos!
Brian Honnigford Max Performance summer tires are definitely not capable of handling snow anything below 6 degrees celsius and they are going to be useless because they are going to be rock solid.
Terrible in snow. Your best option is to buy a second set of steel wheels and snow tires for the cold months, that's what I do.
Oh I assumed those tires were not good for snow, any particular brand/model of snore tires you use for your MS3? I did 2 winters in the stock tires...
Excellent review, thank you. I'm on the fence about getting these or a set of Nitto 555 G2's for my car. I found the camera shot if the sidewall flexing particularly helpful. keep it up!
do you know anything about this tire driving in snow? I live in new york and so far the best michelin tires in snow are the primacy mxv4
***** These tire are really bad in snow. My recommendation is to get a second set of snow tires for the winter months or go with an all season tire. Thanks for watching!
+xcmskim4 You might try Pilot Sport 3 All Season. Fantastic on our older A-6.
What were your last two sets of tires? You mentioned them a few times but never named them.
Kevin To Don't want to double post. Read my reply to Heriberto Rivera Appreciate the support!
What other tires have you ran on your speed?
I daily drive my GTR to work in Malaysia and they're sitting on 20 inch BBS wheels with Michelin Pilot Cup Super Sport tyres. Their really comfortable especially when you go above 200km/h because it's so grippy but in town, I notice that they wear out much faster than my Toyo Tires. Nonetheless, driving on a track feels really solid and accurate but you'd better be ready to fork out some cash if you're frequently going to the track
You Guys are great. Keep up the awesome work
Great clip ! great job ! continue your good work, from the subject, passing by the interest you put in to the refreshing smill you give us, Thank you ! if you ever pass by Montréal, feel free to come try my SLK 55 amg, it yould be a honor to let you drive it for a day, maybe you could make a clip out of it !!!
we had a Mazda 'Speed3' (or MPS as they're called in Australia), and ended up with a really nice set of Pirelli's on them. they were so much better than the Bridgestone's that came stock...
anyway, we have a BMW M135i now which has the Super Sports as standard. you're right, they're a great tyre, and if you're not hooning too much you can expect decent life out of them. we just had our first tyre renewal at 51000km (about 32000 miles).
Pilot sport 4s is an even better wet weather tyre, but 19s and above, otherwise you have to use super sports or the pilot sport 4.
Should i get the pilot super sport or as3? for my 2016 wrx here in San francisco california any suggestions?
you could spend a g on tires then pay for mounting and balancing.
i always buy used tires, free mounting and balancing. also no tax. pay cash and negotiate.
i am curious how the pilots perform off the line. for that money they should be like butter.
can you spin your tires on the wrx?
I have supersport on a Focus rs awd....best results ever
Great review I was looking at these on tirerack there sold out gonna check back. Definitely want to get these! 😁
Yeah i need some better zp tires for my g37 to really feel my 330
Great feedback. Thanks!
hello,
what wheels and tires size u got?
I also have a 2010 CBM Mazdaspeed with Michelin PSSes. But mine are 245s. I need the extra width because I'm on a BNR S3 turbo and an ethanol FREEKTUNE putting down about 385/380 @ the wheels.
I do agree, though: Michelin PSSes are awesome! I have a lot more difficulty hooking than you do, though. But they do a much better job than the other tires I've run.
what size did you get for the front?
235/40/18
245/40/18
255/40/18
what size did you get for the back?
225/40/18
235/40/18
So these are pretty quiet? Need new ones for my TL. The Sumitomos on it r noisy as hell
Can't really say, my car is noisy so it's hard to tell. Noise is the least of my concerns when I'm looking for a tire, I'm usually mostly concerned with traction.
everythingdiy high 5.. been using them on my 45 amgs and theyve been super great! noise is not my concern either
Good review. Thanks. I'm sold on these tires... You're adorable BTW. Nice car!
I have to say, the Michelin SuperSport A/S are the best tires I've had for my MS3. I feel like they not only have the best grip, but the best wear for "spirited" driving, as people often refer to it as. I prefer, "drive-it-like-I-stole-it" but that's frowned upon... >_>;
They last almost two seasons, I've found, but at the end of the second, they're beautiful racing slicks that offer some superb drifting through cloverleaves (not that I know, or anything...) (I have two sets of wheels; the winter tires being on the stock wheels and summers on spoked rims).
Wait, you drove it? I always thought you were just the anchor for the channel!
Was that 225 40 18 or something else on stock wheels?
Christopher O'Connor Yes stock size tire 225 40 18. Thanks for watching!
The Michelins are a way better tire, regardless of size either way.
stock size?
Where can I find a woman that allows tires in her living room!!! I am so jealous. Have you done a test of all season tires. Those of use in the north and cannot afford summer tires, we only get a single set of tires for all seasons.
All seasons are often a compromise. Having 2 sets are often better and cheaper in the long run as you can cycle through them.
+Todd Dembsky
I second what Flash_BeeZy wrote.
+Todd Dembsky
Forgot to mention;
Running the combination of both I was able to get 4 years at the minimum out of both sets, while I was running All seasons I was only able to get 2 years at the most out of the tires. Let alone all the salt damage to my good set of wheels require I had to have them redone every 3 or 4 years.
Freaking awesome review, I SUBSCRIBED thanks!!!
WHAT SIZE DID YOU INSTALL?
Nice tyres
I really like mine too!
Are these directional tires?
They are directional.
Nice review
Great job. Thanks
Good video, very informative
great tire. but. .. very expensive in a 275 width. considering them for my 370z when these crappy potenzas wear out.
If your car feels like it's on rails your not going fast enough - some racing driver some time ago
Best tires on the market
05briseno street tires*
try cooper zeon next I have them on my speed 6 and they are supper sticky I can take off ramps at 120 km/h and they stick like glue with no drift
+mike guffei Cooper's are good tires. We have them installed on our regular 3 and love them. Thanks for watching!
+everythingdiy Hi. i'm about to change my goodyear eagle f2 , do u advise me to go for the super sport or dunlop? I heard the're pretty good. Thanks
Nice video by the way
1000 dollars thats good price for me. weeeee im hoping on the pss train.
good comprehensive review!! :)
This is an excellent review with excellent footage, it’s a shame most of these comments are directed towards her gender
so you bought 5 tires? or you took 1 off for this review? or michelin gave you 1 to do a review because they sponsored you?
I have some in the mail now :)
Whah tire?
$1000?? I paid a little over half of that for my set of PSS!
Spencer Geerlings You must have a smaller tire. I've checked every vendor for my tire size (225 40 18) we got the best price available and that included a rebate. Thanks for watching!
everythingdiy There we go, that makes sense. Im running 225 45 17(wish there was a 40 for this diameter and width)
Question do u live in cali if so join the group on Facebook it's called California mazdaspeeds
Lol there's wheel spin cuz it's a POS speed3... You "punch" it and end up in the ditch.
These tires have a compound rating of 80. These tires need to warm up before max grip.
gurbeer athwal All summer tyres need to warm up before max grip.
who is we? Royal we?
Fitzger00 she probably doesn't even know lol
Great video! Truth be told, I thought you were going to be just another bimbo trying to get TH-cam fame but you seem to know your stuff and you make quality videos. You have a new subscriber, keep up the good work. Only thing I would recommend is working on your delivery to make it sound more natural, it sounds extremely scripted right now
My Corvette C5 is gonna love these. Bye bye balding Nittos haha.
Dcc357 hey bud, what kind of Nitto's and what sizes? How was your experience with your Nitto's?
I love her.
pss excellent !
