We had a 2008 Tuff Tender with 15 hp Yammie for 10 years. Loved it. The new model looks even better with storage space. Fantastic performance, ride, handling, space and stability. Very high demand for second hand Tuffies.' Highly recommended.
These boats will be available in the U.S. according to the Poly craft website. They are taking pre orders saying boats will be available at the end of 2020 and 2021.
I purchased a Tuffy tender with the intention of using it as an actual tender to tow. It was after I bought it that I found it doesn't have a towing lug ? There's a little 10 mm ss pin at the top of the bow but this is utterly unsuitable & too weakly constructed to tow the tender& this would in fact drag the bow under. It'd be a great tender if a vessel has an 11' (3.3 m) beam at the stern to haul it up on the duckboard or on davits. Had this fact been revealed up front in the brochure (there was no boat in the yards to look at) I would not have bought the tender. Not being able to tow it is a deal breaker. Also, as the anchor well is rather tiny, there are no holes/openings for an anchor line to be stored in the generous forward well. As a tender it is of an ideal size, is very stable & comfortable. Once they decide to add a strong towing lug this will be a close to perfect tender.
If this boat is filled to level flotation (survey) do all the hatches and fittings remain the same ? Being the same as without flotation from the outside?
The standard Polycraft recreational hulls are BASIC flotation as per the requirement . Polycraft also has a range of commercial LEVEL flotation hulls . When foam filling the 300 Tuffy hull for both BASIC and LEVEL flotation the inbuilt storage facilities are retained.
I think finding who assassinated JFK by looking online would be easier than finding a price on one of these boats. I have looked at hundreds of pages you should sell digital security because if my info was as safe as your prices I would feel secure.

You don't have to hide your price that small amount of margin isn't worth all the people like me who understand this is to force you in front of a salesperson. Give us a ruff price and maybe we would get closer to purchasing.

i dont even care about it being plastic. why wouldnt you get a carolina skiff over this. i feel like this is a maintenance free dingy for large crafts they are trying to cross market.

Pretty cool. If under about $1000 for just the hull it might be good competition for a fishing kayak.

Take some of that plastic floating around the pacific and make some more boats. Its something you can do with recycled plastic.

Maybe call the factory , there are ways to improve the towing .

I'm guessing the Minn Kota battery is under the large door which forms the casting deck.
It was in the back between the gas tank and the motor.

A Jon boat is a better option. Cheaper, faster, and not made of plastic.
