I followed you when I was 7 years old Now I'm almost 20 years old, I'm making my dreams come true that I wanted and one of them is a lot of animals, and a mini homestead like yours 🥺 I'm glad I came across your channel Becky again
7 years but still in love with your intro 🎼
Becky, your new baby is one beautiful horse and she is doing so well in training. Great job!
Thanks, it’s a he. I don’t know if I’ve ever said that☀️❤️☀️
Yer doing GREAT! I have 65 years training horses in “real world” situations and there’s a lot of armchair know it alls here. You have a VERY NICE colt there.
Hahaha I’m a do it myself kind of person too, and I know what you mean. He is a very nice, well bred horse. Bred by Randy Lane☀️❤️☀️
Wow, yo have lots of followers, I think I started watching you when you built your cabin, then moved to a bigger place. I'm happy your doing well!
Remember. You cannot train a horse if you have a heart connection. I think this is a young horse. Just ask the horse and when it has grown enough it will simply do what you ask.
I absolutely love him!!! He is so cute!!! I am aslo working with my mare who is really stubborn but we are making progress!
My baby horse just turned 14 months old. I’ve been working with him since I purchased him at 7 months old. He’s doing great. I’m not a “horse trainer”, but he’s learned what I expect of him very fast and I’m also learning his personality. I think it’s great when horse owners train their own horses ❤
Really training your own animals is for sure the best way. They come out so much better, and now a days there is no excuse to not learn how to do it yourself☀️❤️☀️
Becky, i hope your ok. Havent seen ya in a while. Just concerned 😟 ❤
Sorry! You are asking him to back and when he reaches the end of the rope, you continue to ask him with no rope left to do it. You should have moved forward and he would have continued to back. The turning his butt, you should habe been standing at his mid section. Watch some colt training like Down under Horesmanship. The foal is smart to have figured you out as your directions are not clesr, no consistent body language.
Oh please, I have trained many horses, donkey, ponys, mules to both ride and drive without any problems or injuries. Do you know what animals hate? Nitpickers and to be drilled by perfectionist. ☀️❤️☀️
Becky, are you okay? (Hurricane))
Becky will you be making more video's ??
The joys of being one with nature
No words to express Becky
Love nature☀️❤️☀️
I have learned alot from you. I really like the way you train. Thanks Becky.
Your so welcome. I love to train and I like a forward brave horse or mule. They are so much fun to ride☀️❤️☀️
Do you still think uncrustables are bad?
Nice job, the lighter he is the better for you, the sooner they learn to come off of pressure the safer they become! Have a blessed week…..
I find their lightness or dullness is just who they are and you can’t change that. The only thing you can do is train them the moves you need them to know. Some are dull and they are dull for life, some are light and they are light for life. It’s best to except them for who they are and just teach them the moves you need them to know, lead, stand, whoe, back, stand tied, load in a trailer. You know the basics ☀️❤️☀️
OMG you look fantastic, last time I saw you probable 5 years ago, I used to see your videos again and again, not much time now. Beautiful little horsey, Sofia
I’m getting chickens on Sunday. Do you know how to get them to cope in 30°C weather 86°F which is the same roughly? 2:02
I always learn something new with your videos. I appreciate your knowledge and sharing this information with us! Your horses are beautiful
Thank you☀️❤️☀️
Your baby has such lovely colouring. He is really very handsome.
Thank you☀️❤️☀️

NESW LLC need your help
Great job becky🙌
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
Looking back, and today, you have done nothing without your son, Scott, and/or perhaps your offscreen husband. I cannot relate to that at all
(barbara, from. seattle. Using a male alias for security reasons.)
Scott my oldest son shoots the video and edits. I found my first peice of land, owner financing, bought it, found my second peice of land at a great deal, jumped on that, built my little log cabin myself. Built a chicken coop, put in all the fencing myself. Worked hard, bought a steal carport and used it as a “barn” . Trust me if you work hard, think smart you can accomplish a lot. Let me add that I homeschooled my sons as well. Scott said one day, mom, I’ll sell my little place and you sell your little place and let’s buy a bigger peice of property and move your cabin and Homestead together. We looked and looked and found this beautiful property I named Homestead park!! Now Scott is going to build his own little place. Your life is what you make it!☀️❤️☀️
Barbara, is it a competition? What kind of comment is this?
Might suggest training to take into account the breed is highly prone to eventual blindness. . Also think about starting to add blind aids to the pasture with sound bags tied to the electric fence, trees ,other potential bump hazards.etc...it's heartbreaking how many appi's wind up at auction because people are not equipped to accommodate the needs of a blind horse. It just takes a bit of preplanning . Blind horses make excellent riding companions when trained with ahead of time . He's very cute Becky!
You must not know much about good foundation bred DNA. When a breeder knows what he is doing and DNA tests his breeding herd. His horses don’t have those traits.
☀️❤️☀️
@@BeckysHomestead not a lot of knowledgeable breeders here because so many go blind.
I've had apps for years and none have gone blind
They've not gone blind and have lived to be over 30 so that isn't true
@@rhondaskiles5740 we've got bad breeders here
Thank you for sharing 💕✌️great video.
Your so welcome☀️❤️☀️
Any garden tips?
Omg just NO!😕 Its never good to get rough and your forcing his head down, he"s pawing and clearly stressed!! 😮
Oh please, every animal needs to be trained. Lots of people get hurt and killed from untrained horses. They are not that delicate and if you can’t see that all my animals are happy and healthy AND trained, you clearly don’t know what your talking about
☀️❤️☀️
@@BeckysHomestead Listen lady I absolutley know what I'm talking about! I had a 4yr old gelding very green and barely broke to ride! I trained him very successfully and PATIENTLY, never forced him to do anything especially so young! It's gradual the most important thing is trust and that bond! Sorry if you took this offensively but you have a weanling there very skiddish and not wanting to perform for your camera! You're right he is an animal, and people do get hurt, people who don't know what they're doing for the safety of themselves and that animal especially so young!
Your baby is doing great! Love his coloring
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
THAT Cortado is 'full of spice'! You suuuure are a 'natural' at training animals Sunshine Becky! I like your attitude of 'bucking' man-made rules and proving it by trial and error. What's 'wrong' with that? Thanks for the vid my dear...p.s. I can tell Cortado just loves you, as all your other fur babes! Health and blessings! :)
Thank you Marie. He is very gentle and sweet. The opposite of Charlie hahaha Charlie doesn’t want or need lovey doveys, but he is a Machine and so fun to ride. I’m happy to have one of both.
☀️❤️☀️
You make me wanna go out and work with my horse now! My appaloosa is 15, but we can try some of these things! 😊
Horses don’t know how old they are! So go out and train it. They are so much fun to ride.
☀️❤️☀️
❤
☀️❤️☀️
Totally using this on my kids.
👏👏👏 Thank you Becky, makes my day to see your videos ♥✌
Hahaha I’m glad to hear it☀️❤️☀️
Even though I don't have a horse I love your videos nonetheless
Hahaha I’m glad you like them
☀️❤️☀️
Your rope is to short for them to turn around
My rope is perfectly fine. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Perfectionist never accomplish anything and never enjoy anything, they are too Bussey focusing on being perfect☀️❤️☀️
@@BeckysHomestead it's not about perfection
@BeckysHomestead it's about working smarter not harder so you can stand in the center with very little movement I like to set on barstool with a back when I groundvwork my horses
You dont need to tap on the but with the rope click your tounge
It is fine to tap, touch his butt. He will be long lined in a couple months and ropes will be touching, tapping his butt
☀️❤️☀️
@BeckysHomestead I have never had to touch my horses buts to log line them abd I've been doing it a lot longer than you have
@BeckysHomestead I ve been rasing and training horse since 1977 so I know a few things
@BeckysHomestead when somebody tries to help you never assume you know more 5han they do
Like how accepting of his limits as a young horse you are!♡
What limits? Everything can learn. I started his training in nursery school and we will build from there until he is well trained, safe and fun
☀️❤️☀️
@@BeckysHomestead I agree with you on learning. He is young and will learn from yr training. He is only limited by what he hasnt learned yet.
Bless your training!
Thank you☀️❤️☀️
Thank you! 😊
Your welcome☀️❤️☀️
GREAT
