Wow, Becky, this was such a powerful and moving video. Your courage to share your personal journey with Asperger's syndrome is truly inspiring. It's incredible how opening up about your own experiences can have such a positive impact on others, especially those in the homesteading community who might be facing similar challenges. The part where you mentioned how non-verbal children have connected with your videos was particularly touching. It's a beautiful reminder of how authenticity and vulnerability can build bridges and help others feel seen and understood. Keep up the amazing work, and thank you for being such a beacon of light and encouragement in the homesteading world!
Oh Becky I love this video! I am sure I am undiagnosed autistic and I just roll with it. I'm a single mom who moved my kids from Seattle to S. Carolina, so I can setup a mini-homestead. Your story made me so happy! One of the best videos I've ever seen on TH-cam ❤
That was so sweet and touching that you shared that! I have loved and appreciated you from the first time that I found your channel!❤ To me, you are positive, cheerful and very caring, and you have been encouraging to me on chicken keeping, homestead building, land purchases.... Just keep on being the sweet lady that you are! Thanks for sharing your life😊
I love you, Becky. You’ve taught me everything I know about my chickens and I am so grateful for your beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing your uniqueness. It’s what makes you YOU ♥️
Thank you! Asperger's has so many faces. Some of the most brilliant people I know have it, too. I think many people equate it with the most severe forms of autism and don't realize that people with Asperger's function as well or sometime even at a greater level than many with no diagnosis. Thank you, Becky!!
OH BECKY 😂, I'm dying here. You're reply to above is so Asperger's. I love hearing truth, reality, and hope. My of my extended family have Autism or Asperger's. Sometimes things go right over their heads and sometimes their thoughts are so much clearer than most! Love you girl. God's peace and blessings to you.❤❤❤
Retarded isn’t a kind word. My grandson is Autistic and I would be very upset if someone called him that. He is very intelligent. Remember’s everything. Can’t deal with some things passes the floor a lot. But once he understands he’s got it.
I recently learned this… Your sweet and youthful voice is actually a “sign” so to speak. So, your Asperger’s gives you one of your best qualities, that has helped you reach and touch so many! I find you to be incredibly warm and welcoming. It’s your super power! I wouldn’t change a thing! You make homesteading approachable and accessible. ❤ you Becky
Love you Becky. One of my best friends has a son with Asperger’s and we live way out in the country and this young man is awesome and we all just love him. He has found daily employment with three of the ranches here due to his connections with the horses and birds and other livestock. And he is so happy and has become more confident and social. ❤ His parents are also wonderful and have provided a fantastic environment where he is blossoming!❤
When a video from you pops up, I am so excited and watch it, I mean relish it, right away! I never saw anything weird about you, but instead saw someone with warmth, wisdom, and living with joy! Im happy for you, Becky, that you felt safe enough with your close friends (and us) to share your whole self more completely! Many blessings to you and your sons. 💛
One of my very best friends had Aspergers Syndrome. He was a veteran in the military, a historian, and an accomplished author of a very successful series of post-apocalyptic fiction known as The Morningstar Saga (The first book in the series is entitled Plague of the Dead) originally published by a small press but went on to be picked up and distributed by Simon & Schuster. He passed away a few years ago at a young age but what he accomplished in his lifetime is more than most people do. He was so very intelligent and compassionate for others, and he is missed by his family, friends, and his fan base. There is nothing wrong with having AS, in fact it may signal a higher intelligence than most. HUGS Becky! You're doing great!
That was so encouraging to hear that I myself have it as well I’m 34 years old and own chickens cats and ducks my animals keep me busy and entertained from day to day we something in common 😊
I discovered I am on the spectrum after my grandson was tested last year. We all became interested in what autism is all about and discovered that several of us in the family are also on the spectrum. Life is such an interesting journey.
I too found out late in life I was on the spectrum and it sure explained why I was so weird! I do however wish there had been better education about it when I was younger so that teachers could’ve picked it up. I’m glad that society has become sensitive to recognizing and acknowledging it.
I have been following you for years and bought your book you helped me a lot starting my first generation farm of 30 acres my chickens are doing great I thought you were amazing and now I know it keep the great content coming thank you again
Becky, you are indeed a very brave woman, and I thank you for sharing your personal story. My brother-in-law also has this syndrome. He is super intelligent and works as an electrical engineer. He also has a wonderful bright and loving personality. JUST LIKE YOU!! 💞💞
Becky I’m so proud of you sharing this information. You will help so many people. So many more people I should say. I’ve been watching your videos for years and just admire all you have done creating your channel and your homestead!!!
Temple Grandin studied with my dad at the University of Illinois. She also came to my college campus in WI to talk to students about her book and humane animal handling. Thanks for sharing! You do a great job with this blog and I hope you keep it going.
Nothing wrong with being different. Some of the most kind, smart and amazing people I know are on the spectrum. The world would be pretty dull if we were all the same. 💛
Becky, Thank you for reaching out and sharing very personal information. I've enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy your videos. ❤️ You're such a kind and thoughtful person. 🌷
Becky Thank you for being so vulnerable ❤ My 19 year old grandson has Asperger’s and is coming to stay with us and I would love to know if you have any recommendations on how I can be better at communicating with him, he has the biggest heart I love him so much ❤
Thank you for sharing. It’s so freeing to be transparent! God made you and we need to celebrate each other! Blessings and favor prayed over you, your family and your life. 🙏 😀 🐓 💃💃💃
After reading up on it, it describes everyone. Now some might have it at a more severe level where they don't fit into the "normal" range (don't ask me what normal is, there is no normal when it comes to human behavior). I just chalk it up as people are very different. That's why some people like or dislike other people. Most people don't even know they have this condition, because their behavior is nonviolent or aggressive, laid back, keeping to oneself. Whereas you have people who need to be the center of attention, always drawing attention to themselves. So again who's to say what is normal in this situation. I have been recently watching your videos, to me you're a happy go lucky type of person no doubt pleasant to be around. What's wrong with that?
Becky it's so great that you've decided to talk about this very important subject. I know there will be many people who will appreciate this and who this will help.
My son is now 21. He waa diagnosed with Azbergers. He is so smart and kinda plays to a different tune. Im.glad you shared this. You are so successful at life! I hope he finds his passion. He struggles alot with depression. Absolutely love your bideos and I share your love of Appaloosas❤
I think the best way for him to find his way is to try a lot of different things☀️❤️☀️ And I think Foundation bred Appaloosa’s Are the best horse breed🥕
Congratulations! Sometimes it’s a relief to let others know and sometimes like with me, people in my family don’t believe it. Anyway, according to the people in the know, the term Aspbergers is not used anymore. We are all in the ASD world to one level or another which I still have to understand bc I’m self diagnosed and at my age (74 yrs) what’s the point. So, no longer masking, what you see is what you get!
My husband has it and I’m pretty sure I have some form of autism and I’m not sure if it’s Asperger’s or not but I was never diagnosed. My doctors always brushed off looking into it
I could tell because you are so good with your animals, meticulous and caring and intuitive with your training and setup. I'm autistic too and find you so watchable Becky, thank you for being you and putting your life on these fantastic videos ❤
My daughter is 24 years old, and has Asperburger's Syndrome as well. She lives with me still, and is very antisocial towards strangers. However, she has profound gifts in knowing people by looking in their eyes, though she does not like eyes, its just a thing for her. This could be because of her height as well, she is 6' 4" Tall. She is very intellegent, and just Venita. However, she has extreme fear of the outside world. I believe that is in part due to her PTSD diagnosis. I love and thank you for sharing this with us. I am a Behavioral and Psychology Major, and I work for the Local intellectual & Developmental Disability Authority, LIDDA, in Texas. So many of our individuals needs and preferences are ignored and pushed aside due to lack of awareness and information. The more we tak about things, the faster and more efficient we can innovate our world and elevate one another. The simple encouragement that is gained is stiffling. I love you Becky! Thank you!
I didn’t look into anybody’s eyes for most of my life. Scott got me a book about Asperger’s and then I made myself do it. We love to be alone. Here is a funny joke I made up about Asperger’s, I perg the asses that come into my life, get it???😂 As-perg-er’s ☀️❤️☀️
My son is 38 and sounds very much like your daughter. The most discerning, sensitive, creative person I know. I knew Becky was a unique person. They are too good for this world.
You are a fabulous person, Becky. Although I haven't ever been diagnosed with this however, it has occurred to me that this is most likely what I have I have many of the symptoms. I also have noticed a couple of my relatives do have this but always kept it a secret and never got diagnosed either. It can be very tough at times because I mostly want to be alone and am anti social even though I like people, I have a difficult time with connection. Even with dear people whom I love very much. Social events appear to be an enjoyable thought, but often, I avoid it. It does hurt, but it's hard to push myself to overcome it.
Becky I’ve always loved your warmth friendliness and confidence. You never seem to be bothered by everyday stresses. I always felt more confident after watching your videos. So glad you shared with us. I personally had mercury poisoning as a child and at four yrs old started having memory and learning problems. It’s been hard coping! Your “don’t sweat the little stuff” attitude always makes me feel confident too.❤ you Becky, keep sharing with us about homesteading, it’s always been my dream and passion!
My hubby is on the spectrum and it makes him more interesting. I have to explain my humor to him half the time and ask for affection at times but he is a wonderful roommate and partner in life. He has many talents and is a great cook. Thanks for sharing... I've always enjoyed your channel and have learned a lot from you.
Im a long time subscriber but never a commenter. ..you are a wonderful person, always loved your channel and your advice. You are loved just the way you are , as we all should be ♥
Another fan with an adult son with what they called Asperger’s but has now been called high functioning autism . I’m pretty sure I have it with all sorts of other issues but the independent outdoors life definitely helps. Your videos and common sense gentle approach is just a pleasure thank you so much for sharing ur life with us all.
I can relate to that kids about watching your videos 💛💛💛 whatever makes you up, helps people learn, I think I’m more of an ADHD type person. You are already teaching a slew of acronyms with your kind, confidence and manner. 💛💛💛 Thank you for sharing always everything. You push through everything with positivity 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 Love It !
Omg, after watching your video, I looked up what Asperges syndrome is and to my shock I recognized my 18 years old daughter has exactly those challenges...it was like it was describing her 😮 And me raising her all these years criticizing her for behaving weird than other kids, being awkward and clumsy 😢 Poor her...she just can't help it. ...I realize now. Thank you Becky for your honesty. 🎉❤
Never in a million years would I have guessed you had Aspergers. Just thought you were a bubbly crazy chick like me!!! Bless you sweetheart. Love your videos. Love you for being you!!!!
@mrL9122.....Met Prof. Temple Grandin when I worked with special needs clients and she was invited and came to an assembly at their day program building in the evening! Such a knowledge woman about how animals think and how autistic children and adults "work"! The cattle industry definitely benefited by her insite and knowledge about cows! God Bless!😊❤
I am so glad to see you being a voice and light in this world with Asperger's syndrome. My youngest son has this syndrome and struggled in junior high and high school. I kept encouraging him through this and that as an adult, you will find YOUR place in this world. He is thriving more positively than ever. So glad I found your channel today
One of my best mates has it as well. She tried to hide it as well. She owned her own home by 21 and runs a daycare centre. She is such a lovely girl. I have a few friends who are neurodivergent actually. All are great people living normal lives. I am legally blind and have fragile bones among some neurological stuff. I love your videos because you speak so well and explain everything so I can understand what is happening on your screen. I’m a small homesteader in Australia, just me and my husband. About to buy an off grid property and do all of the things. Thanks for your inspo and education.
Becky, that picture of you on the roof building your own cabin got my subscription from the first viewing-what a picture of personal power. When I clicked on this video my thought was, “please don’t let this clickbait-just show up as Becky”; thank you for Not disappointing! Yes, please enlighten us.
As a self diagnosed (RN) aspergers person - high function -- I can say you must be very good at masking.... I have found that being neurodivergent.. and different with my own communication and speech directness, whether I realize it or not, has led me to not only be exhausted, but utterly rejected by the majority of the world within five minutes of meeting me. So. Consider yourself very blessed that you have a group of actual friends who except you ;) I for one had a totally different experience. If I tell people that I'm neurodivergent honestly they just don't care. I still don't like you if you're different. (Me) PS lost many many jobs over it over the years. It sucks to be this way. I like who I am I know I'm a nice person. But nobody else can see that because I'm different.
First off, I’m not good at “masking” and have never heard that word until I put this video out. Scott is a saint to shoot my videos and does a great job editing me. As far as “friends” go, I have always gotten along way better with men then girls. Men are not judgmental. Women on the other hand can’t take direct, frank comments. I get it though, women are more sensitive by nature and sweet. I’m SO glad I didn’t have a daughter because I think I would have damaged her. It all worked out perfect ☀️❤️☀️
How wonderful that you are talking about your Asperger’s diagnosis. My daughter is borderline Asperger’s. Be proud of who you are and what you have accomplished in your life. I don’t think Asperger’s Syndrome is a diagnosis anymore. Everyone is now clumped under the Autism spectrum.
My 30-year-old son has Asperger's Syndrome. He was diagnosed before school even started. I think he struggles internally, but you can't really tell by his behavior, except for his "oddities". But he is a wonderful person who has a great sense of humor. He does have problems with relationships.
Dear Becky, Thank you for being yourself! Thank for this super-helpful channel that has given me hope, cheered me up in the darkest of my times. I am an autistic mother of an autistic son (lgbt community). I have been following you for years and your enthusiasm, passion, wisdom, sense of humour, intelligence, kindness has always uplifted me. You have awakened in me my passion for this lifestyle and given so many practical tips and confidence to be more like you. My son is home-educated and I'm saving to by a small place with land. Many autistic people, are still trying to achieve basic human rights in education, workplace and personal life, but you make everything appear so much easier, so doable, so lovely! Keep being the absolutely wonderful person that you are! Elena
Your are a delight from the Lord, our son has high functioning autism, has been rejected by numerous jobs except for Amazon. Seems like Jeff Bezos has a special place in his heart for neurotypical adults. He is now 23, drives a car, starts his job in 2 weeks. Praise the Lord
Thank you so much for sharing with all of us Becky. Can you talk about how you were diagnosed with it? I will be 45 in a few months. Both me & my husband are sure I have Asperger’s.
If you truly have Asperger’s, you don’t need to be “diagnosed” it is very obvious. You can Look it up. A lot of people have other conditions such as anxiety, AHHD, depression, Tourette’s syndrome and Epilepsy. I don’t know how they connect that🤷☀️❤️☀️
You're a TH-cam version of Temple Grandin. Few people realize that being on the spectrum makes the affected hyper sensitive, but that does not make them unintelligent or less capable of being successful. I find my grandson to be much more enjoyable to be around than my "normal" granddaughter.
You are YOU! To put a (modern day) label on anything is backwards thinking. Yes, you are quirky, and one of the most caring, and loving human beings on this planet. Helping others to understand a different type of personality enlightens , most definitely. Labels are for packages, not human beings.
That is kind of true but it’s good to know where you stand and figure out you have a little defect and that will take some navigating. It is never good to sweep things under the carpet☀️❤️☀️
I hope that you will dig a little deeper and learn why the term Asbergers' is now longer used, and why Autism levels are now called into favor. And additionally, learn the differences between symptoms of girls/women and boys/men. They are vast! So much to learn and share. Thank you for sharing your journey.
I’m all for learning, but in America now a days people love to go WAY beyond what is needed and never actually teach people anything that is useful and practical for every day living. ☀️❤️☀️
Every person I've come in contact with, that have Aspergers had a higher IQ than the average person. I took a Mefical Billing course & the young man in my class was very, very, intelligent.
I had a really crappy physically abusive family. I was a wild problem child, and let me tell you something lots of poor families never go to the doctor to get “diagnosed” for anything. And being diagnosed for Asperger’s doesn’t do a thing for you. ☀️❤️☀️
As a retired English teacher, I can tell you that Spectrum kids were some of my favorite kids in my classroom. They taught me so much! They always had unique and various viewpoints that always made me think in new and exciting ways! Thanks so much for sharing!
Hello, my name is Angel. I worked in mental health for many years and knew you had Aspergers Syndrome the first video I saw. You are beautiful. We are all weird! Who k ows want normal is when none of us have ever seen it?!! LOL!
Well good for you Becky! I've spent my career supporting children with autism so I'm delighted that you've decided to tell your truth. I'm absolutely sure there will be many subscribers who will get a lot from your personal story.
This is so awesome Becky. I've been watching you for about 6 years and I never would have guessed, which also sheds light on the fact that this syndrome exists on a spectrum. Thank you for being so open.
I recognized that you were autistic and am fascinated at how well you are doing and how smart you are. My daughter is as well. Bravo to you for being yourself❤️❤️❤️
Oh Becky, my 20 year old son has Asperger's Syndrome after Covid hit he stopped wanting to leave the house, so now he stays home only leaving to go to doctor appointments. Please pray for him.
Thank you for sharing this, Becky❣️ We are all unique. Some of us are blessed with more uniqueness than other people. I consider it an underappreciated super power. ❤
I noticed this years ago I’m your first several yrs of your channel n again during that time introducing you son who also deals too. Now my birth n mother’s age n reason I was induced early for min n her reasons should of gifted me also received a tiny fringe of something besides creativity but it only effected my spelling n punctuation billowed about by Karen’s with red pencils
Love ya Becky. We are all unique and that's what I appreciate in humans. Our differences, whatever label we've been given. And we have opportunity to make a difference in each others life. I grew up in an alcoholic's home and became one. I learned about addiction through AA. They will not hire someone who was not an addict to be a counselor because understanding is necessary to help another addict. I think this is true in everything.
My youngest granddaughter has Aspergers. She ate play dough as a child and spitting on other kids. She's now almost 18 and my son has found that keeping her away from junk food and all the additives and chemicals she has less problems. She eats more keto foods and is now high functioning 😊
You don’t need to get “diagnosed” if you truly have Asperger’s. Also you can’t hide it, if you have it. Scott does a good job shooting and editing my videos, I just finally wanted to tell people to help parents with their kids☀️❤️☀️
My daughter has Severe Autism and she is just starting to spell words using Rapid Prompting Method. She has never said a word, but she is starting to be able to communicate by spelling words on a letter board. ❤
It’s really nice that the power of TH-cam sent your video to me. I watched you build your cabin and many of your videos a long time ago. I love to hear your voice again, it’s unique.
Love you Becky...ypu ate an inspiration. My son is nuerodiverent...it's so hard for other people to understand his personality sometimes. It's so painful as a parent to watch be cause he is very very caring.
People with ASD definitely have a connection. I can generally tell right away if someone is autistic and immediately feel comfortable around them. I love your channel and have been a long-time subscriber. You actually encouraged me to make my first video years and years ago. Homesteading, ASD, and TH-cam are just the perfect comb 😂❤ Thanks for sharing and being a voice for our community.
Wow, Becky, this was such a powerful and moving video. Your courage to share your personal journey with Asperger's syndrome is truly inspiring. Exactly this!

first! Nice to see you again Becky. We're all weird I think, especially the people who think they aren't weird
I love you Becky. You educated me so much on how to raise my chickens I could have never done it without your help. You’re an amazing person. ❤️❤️❤️
I’m glad I could help☀️❤️☀️

Becky,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing very personal information.
I've enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy your videos. ❤️
You're such a kind and thoughtful person. 🌷

Greetings from Germany Becky. Love your channel. I livestream my chicken coop daily. Would love you to stop by and say hi on the live chat sometime 👋🏻
You should invite the kids to visit the farm! An annual day? Congrats on coming out

My doctors always brushed off looking into it
No thing as normal. Every person is an individual.
I could tell because you are so good with your animals, meticulous and caring and intuitive with your training and setup. I'm autistic too and find you so watchable Becky, thank you for being you and putting your life on these fantastic videos ❤
your a winner Becky, and i like to be with winners.
Hahahaha thanks☀️❤️☀️
Here is a funny joke I made up about Asperger’s,
I perg the asses that come into my life, get it???😂 As-perg-er’s ☀️❤️☀️
@@BeckysHomestead 😂 I love that!!!
Having a little homestead is so awesome and a little house makes life simple, easy and enjoyable☀️❤️☀️
I know what it mean, you are just perfect, dont forget it!!!❤🎉😊
My hubby is on the spectrum and it makes him more interesting. I have to explain my humor to him half the time and ask for affection at times but he is a wonderful roommate and partner in life. He has many talents and is a great cook. Thanks for sharing... I've always enjoyed your channel and have learned a lot from you.
☀️❤️☀️
Im a long time subscriber but never a commenter. ..you are a wonderful person, always loved your channel and your advice. You are loved just the way you are , as we all should be ♥
Another fan with an adult son with what they called Asperger’s but has now been called high functioning autism . I’m pretty sure I have it with all sorts of other issues but the independent outdoors life definitely helps. Your videos and common sense gentle approach is just a pleasure thank you so much for sharing ur life with us all.
Your so welcome☀️❤️☀️
Thank you for sharing Becky!❤ May God Bless you!
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
When I was looking to get chickens this lady had the best information. Glad to see you doing videos again❤
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
We absolutely love your videos, and thank you for sharing your stories and light!
I’m so glad you like them
☀️❤️☀️
I can relate to that kids about watching your videos 💛💛💛 whatever makes you up, helps people learn, I think I’m more of an ADHD type person. You are already teaching a slew of acronyms with your kind, confidence and manner. 💛💛💛 Thank you for sharing always everything. You push through everything with positivity 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 Love It !
Oh thank you☀️❤️☀️
Omg, after watching your video, I looked up what Asperges syndrome is and to my shock I recognized my 18 years old daughter has exactly those challenges...it was like it was describing her 😮
And me raising her all these years criticizing her for behaving weird than other kids, being awkward and clumsy 😢
Poor her...she just can't help it. ...I realize now.
Thank you Becky for your honesty. 🎉❤
Your so welcome☀️❤️☀️
Thank you for sharing. Enjoy and learn so much from your videos. Thank you.
Your welcome☀️❤️☀️
Never in a million years would I have guessed you had Aspergers. Just thought you were a bubbly crazy chick like me!!! Bless you sweetheart. Love your videos. Love you for being you!!!!
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
@mrL9122.....Met Prof. Temple Grandin when I worked with special needs clients and she was invited and came to an assembly at their day program building in the evening! Such a knowledge woman about how animals think and how autistic children and adults "work"! The cattle industry definitely benefited by her insite and knowledge about cows! God Bless!😊❤
Ya she’s great! ☀️❤️☀️
I’m so glad to hear that, he can do it! ☀️❤️☀️
Watch vlog becky just like play Hay Day in real life
That was powerful
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
One of my best mates has it as well. She tried to hide it as well. She owned her own home by 21 and runs a daycare centre. She is such a lovely girl. I have a few friends who are neurodivergent actually. All are great people living normal lives. I am legally blind and have fragile bones among some neurological stuff. I love your videos because you speak so well and explain everything so I can understand what is happening on your screen. I’m a small homesteader in Australia, just me and my husband. About to buy an off grid property and do all of the things. Thanks for your inspo and education.
Your so welcome, I’m glad I can help☀️❤️☀️
Becky, that picture of you on the roof building your own cabin got my subscription from the first viewing-what a picture of personal power.
When I clicked on this video my thought was, “please don’t let this clickbait-just show up as Becky”; thank you for Not disappointing!
Yes, please enlighten us.
☀️❤️☀️
Our 39 year old has Asperger's syndrome. We didn't figure it out until he was in his twenties. Thanks for sharing Becky!
☀️❤️☀️
It all worked out perfect
☀️❤️☀️
How wonderful that you are talking about your Asperger’s diagnosis. My daughter is borderline Asperger’s. Be proud of who you are and what you have accomplished in your life. I don’t think Asperger’s Syndrome is a diagnosis anymore. Everyone is now clumped under the Autism spectrum.
Well labels help you navigate the world. They help identify things. I can’t stand that everything is just abbreviated with letters now☀️❤️☀️
My 30-year-old son has Asperger's Syndrome. He was diagnosed before school even started. I think he struggles internally, but you can't really tell by his behavior, except for his "oddities". But he is a wonderful person who has a great sense of humor. He does have problems with relationships.
One “oddity” can definitely be with relationships. That is not surprising at all☀️❤️☀️
Dear Becky,
Thank you for being yourself!
Elena
You can teach your own kids! Stop waisting your life waiting for someone else to do it.
☀️❤️☀️
Your are a delight from the Lord, our son has high functioning autism, has been rejected by numerous jobs except for Amazon. Seems like Jeff Bezos has a special place in his heart for neurotypical adults. He is now 23, drives a car, starts his job in 2 weeks. Praise the Lord
Don’t get too excited, he might go through many jobs to find a good fit. ☀️❤️☀️
You've come very far in life! Go girl! I have twins with autism and a family friend with Asperger's. I know the struggles! 😊 So proud of you!
Thank you☀️❤️☀️
There’s no such thing of a “normal/perfect person”. We’re all perfectly imperfect! …God bless you, Becky!
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
☀️❤️☀️
How could the world NOT love you, Becky! ❤❤❤ You have a beautiful soul and it SHINES like a ray of sunshine. 😊
Becky Sunshine, I got that name when I was about 3
☀️❤️☀️
Every person I've come in contact with, that have Aspergers had a higher IQ than the average person. I took a Mefical Billing course & the young man in my class was very, very, intelligent.
☀️❤️☀️
How did your family not know about it? Were you diagnosed by a specialist? I worked for a foundation that helped families with autism & Asperger‘s.
Your welcome☀️❤️☀️
Thank you for sharing I have it and I have 4 adult children with Asperger's syndrome it's through our family definitely hereditary.
Interesting☀️❤️☀️
I'm a teacher and we don't say weird, which you aren't, we say "quirky." I love "quirky" and so do most people.
I like all words and don’t like to limit myself, except swears☀️❤️☀️
I’ve been missing you! I bought your book and it seemed like you disappeared! I’m so happy you’re back! God bless you and your Aspbergers!!
Haha thanks. I hope my book helps you and your chicks
☀️❤️☀️
Hello, my name is Angel. I worked in mental health for many years and knew you had Aspergers Syndrome the first video I saw. You are beautiful. We are all weird! Who k ows want normal is when none of us have ever seen it?!! LOL!
Hahaha true☀️❤️☀️
Well good for you Becky! I've spent my career supporting children with autism so I'm delighted that you've decided to tell your truth. I'm absolutely sure there will be many subscribers who will get a lot from your personal story.
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
This is so awesome Becky. I've been watching you for about 6 years and I never would have guessed, which also sheds light on the fact that this syndrome exists on a spectrum. Thank you for being so open.
Your welcome. Scott does a good job editing me😝
☀️❤️☀️
I recognized that you were autistic and am fascinated at how well you are doing and how smart you are. My daughter is as well. Bravo to you for being yourself❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much! Asperger’s are never fake or pretend😂😂
Oh Becky, my 20 year old son has Asperger's Syndrome after Covid hit he stopped wanting to leave the house, so now he stays home only leaving to go to doctor appointments. Please pray for him.
I think going outside in nature helps, not in crowded places☀️❤️☀️
Thank you for sharing this, Becky❣️ We are all unique. Some of us are blessed with more uniqueness than other people. I consider it an underappreciated super power. ❤
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
Thanks for sharing. I’ve missed seeing you.👍🏻🙂👩🌾
☀️❤️☀️
I noticed this years ago I’m your first several yrs of your channel n again during that time introducing you son who also deals too.
Now my birth n mother’s age n reason I was induced early for min n her reasons should of gifted me also received a tiny fringe of something besides creativity but it only effected my spelling n punctuation billowed about by Karen’s with red pencils
☀️❤️☀️
Hey Becky, thank you for all your videos. I don’t think you’re weird at all maybe I’m weird we’re all weird. We love you.
Hahaha thanks☀️❤️☀️
Love ya Becky. We are all unique and that's what I appreciate in humans. Our differences, whatever label we've been given. And we have opportunity to make a difference in each others life. I grew up in an alcoholic's home and became one. I learned about addiction through AA. They will not hire someone who was not an addict to be a counselor because understanding is necessary to help another addict. I think this is true in everything.
Yes personal experience is the best for teaching others☀️❤️☀️
My youngest granddaughter has Aspergers. She ate play dough as a child and spitting on other kids. She's now almost 18 and my son has found that keeping her away from junk food and all the additives and chemicals she has less problems. She eats more keto foods and is now high functioning 😊
I’m carnivore mostly and I think that helps me a lot
☀️❤️☀️
Becky, dear sweet soul… you are more “ normal” than most people I know! You are real and genuine❣️Thank you for being so honest and transparent!
Your welcome☀️❤️☀️
Becky, I am a retired Special Education Teacher. I get it. I have taught all disabilities in the 30 years of teaching. I thing you are cool chick
Haha thanks☀️❤️☀️
How did you get diagnosed? I am sure I'm on the spectrum. I do a lot of masking and it's exhausting.
Oh good!! ☀️❤️☀️
You're wonderful and I appreciate you, Becky.
Thank you☀️❤️☀️
It’s really nice that the power of TH-cam sent your video to me. I watched you build your cabin and many of your videos a long time ago. I love to hear your voice again, it’s unique.
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
Kinda knew all along dear and it’s why I love watching your videos. You are so real!!!
Blessings to you dear ❤️
Thank so much☀️❤️☀️
I have learned so much from you Becky... I think you are just awesome...
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
Well geez Becky...I just thought you were a lovely lady w a quirky personality ❤
Be well dear and carry on !
Hahaha thanks☀️❤️☀️
Love you Becky...ypu ate an inspiration. My son is nuerodiverent...it's so hard for other people to understand his personality sometimes. It's so painful as a parent to watch be cause he is very very caring.
You should just tell him, not everyone is going to get him🤷 that is life. It is good to live a forward life☀️❤️☀️
People with ASD definitely have a connection.
Your welcome☀️❤️☀️
Hey Becky what is normal. You are highly intelligent...you go girl!!!
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
