God isn't a mickey form when you really think about it. Yes, Goku used a ritual, but it required six righteous hearted saiyans, which none of them would still be around if not for him. It's the culmination Of Goku's influence coming back to reward him.
And not only did Goku dislike attaining power that way, but he also ended up making that power his own.

This is actually a valid point ngl but the series hoe’d this whole form it damn near became obsolete once we got to the tournament … it wasn’t Mickey but it’s short shelf life of being a top tier form made it micky imo

Vegeta getting SS4 was him being willing to accept help from Bulma to get stronger because Vegeta is chill like that in GT, and he's grown past trying to outdo Goku which almost got everyone killed in the Cell and Buu sagas. It is perfectly in character after his speech in Buu arc. Also it was physically impossible for him to get SS4 because he couldn't grow back his tail since he lost it as an adult, and he would've earned it fine since he was able to control himself as a great ape, unlike Goku and Gohan.
And Gogeta was pulling a Vegito where he intentionally annoying Omega so he can turn his negative energy from the Dragon Balls to positive so the universe doesn't die after Gogeta kills him, and the fusion runs out before he can finish Omega off.
I like GT and am fine with criticism so future material can learn from it, but at least get the story right when you want to say why you aren't a fan of it.

The only reason why I love ssj3 is the design. It’s really cool. So I understand the flaws with the transformation.
The increased lightning alone makes the form look godlike.
SSJ2 Goku vs Kid Buu was one of the best filler fights in the series. Majin Vegeta vs SSJ2 Goku had a lot of dope moments.
I dont know SSJ2 did its job in hype moments, but since the following arc had multiple forms that overshadowed it it didn't have long to shine.
The entire Android arc had various forms of SSJ and every Saiyan had a fight in their SSJ forms and showed out except arguably Gohan.
The series was basically "Hey look at the shiny SSJ2 guys!" and then an arc later they threw fusion at us, SSJ3 and Ultimate Gohan at us lol.
It also doesnt help that SSJ2 looked weak as hell consistently throughout the arc with Vegeta getting clapped and Gohan nearly dying. Throw salt in the wound and Babidee laughs at SSJ2 Goku cause Vegeta got slaughtered so bad by Buu in the same form.
It's not what SSJ2 did in the series. It's that it looks so much like SSJ. They may as well be the same form.
The form was great when it represented Gohan's unleashed potential in the Cell arc. But the moment Toriyama made it a form any Saiyan could get and called it SSJ2, it lost all uniqueness and became a lame SSJ clone.

Okay this is a really hot take. I think Blue should've been exclusive to Vegeta and only Vegeta. Goku earns Super Saiyan God through the ritual. So his hair turns red. Vegeta earns Super Saiyan God by training with Whis and Beerus instead of the ritual, so his hair ends up turning blue. Both guys get their own unique version of Super Saiyan God that way.
Surprised no ones giving kaioken any love, it has two of the best fights in the entire series, goku vs vegeta, and freeza vs goku, and goku going x20 against freeza as his last ditch effort to save everyone is honestly the best moment in the best saga of dragon ball. I think just for story that clears every other form.

For me personally the best form is a tie between original super saiyan and ultra instinct-sign-. SSJ is just so iconic and it was the pinnacle of saiyan power….until 2 and 3….similarly how ultra instinct is the compilation of martial arts mastery and being in tune with ones movement without thought.

Id argue SSJ IS DragonBall. It had amazing story behind it being the culminstion of goku accepting his sayin heritage, had hype and has design. I understand having UI/MuI in there tho. I have yet to see another anime break the internet

@@jwiguy6547 wdym? why are you telling them to delete the comment? there saying how they like forms that are activated through emotion, and they used super saiyan as an example, ssj2 and onwards wasnt really gained through emotion, ssj3 was just, sorta "push hard to find it", ssjg was a ritual, ssjb was just a mix of two forms (ssj and ssjg) so like what are you on about with deleteing there comment? a good ammount of forms ARENT unlocked via emotions anymore

To me, Sign should’ve been enough for Jiren and MUI shouldn’t have been introduced until the Moro arc. Yeah that would mean anime would never get MUI but in terms of story progression and how the Moro arc went, would’ve been perfect for the introduction of MUI after Moro beat sign rather than Goku “reactivating” it because the whole time we knew in the back of our mind, “oh he’s just gonna go MUI which lessened the tension

To be fair to SSJ4 Gogeta he takes place in a different point in time than the original SSJ Gogeta. Given the time that the Gogeta movie takes place in it makes more sense why Gogeta acts more seriously. However SSJ4 Gogeta happens multiple years after and Vegeta who is half of the fusion is already a different kind of person then he was before.
The way I interpreted SSJ4 Gogeta's behavior was that now that Vegeta isn't the grumpy and overly serious person he used to be he is more susceptible to having fun and messing with his opponent. I guess what I'm trying to say is that SSJ4 Gogeta could be interpreted to act the way he does BECAUSE part of himself has had a change of heart over the years (Vegeta obviously). However I think within the context of GT I THINK that Gogeta was trying to do something which is why he was taking his time, I might be mistaken on that so don't quote me on it. In the games however he isn't held back by plot and can easily become the highlight of whatever game he is a part of.
That's literally why. Make Omega mad, get him to use his strongest Negative Energy attack, reflect that shit and turn it positive to purge the negativity around the world due to Shadow Dragon nonsense.
For someone who hypes on God, and saiyans switching forms, and blue earns its wings better in the manga, and while UI doesn’t get great showings in the manga til after the TOP.

Orange was obtained by asking Shenron and just made Piccolo useful. God needed a very specific thing to get it, it didn't immediately give Goku an advantage, he actually lost it mid way through the fight, but he somehow managed to get a stronger Base off of its power, allowing for the sick moment of him going SSJ on top of this God Base to start pressing Beerus. Before whipping it out again in a desperate moment to stop Beerus' attempt to destroy Earth. It did cooler things. It looks cooler. The way it's obtained and then handled afterwards was more interesting. They're NOT the same.

Primarily agree with everything you say. Overall 100% on everything. But it came to comparison of ultra instinct mastered versus ultra instinct omen. I thought about it for about 60 seconds without interruption in my older thoughts. And from deep within my core I already knew it was all me. Something about culture is the omen Goku is fucking crazy good. Do you know it’s powerful when you see mastered ultra instinct, and you still choose home in over it. Master ultra Goku is a Phenomenal look, but is everything that you said only does that mastered does not. Masta comes in at begin omen was built up and showcased phenomenally.
Super Saiyans becoming so common doesn't bother me for the same reason God doesn't: none of the others would be able to do it if wasn't for the Saiyan who came all the way from Earth. Goku in the Super Saiyan prophecy wasn't the singular Super Saiyan as a messianic figure who'd do it all himself: the legend is about Goku ushering in the Age of the Super Saiyan

EDIT: Without spoiling too much in case you're still catching up on the manga, Perfect/Complete Blue is just Blue, but maintaining the energy that normally gets drained away just from entering the form so it can be used at its actual full power. It's basically Mastered Super Saiyan, but for Blue.

Sorry sage but just based off impact alone SSJ had the whole shonen game on lock effecting all sorts of media while also being just as good as UI if not better? I understand overtime it lost how special it originally was but at the same time its still probably the most iconic transformation of all time so it clears.
SSJ4 Gogeta was acting goofy because he was trying to get Omega to use his negative energy ball, which he used to destroy the negative energy surrounding earth. The moment he accomplished that it was straight to business with back to back big bang kamehamehas before he defused.

Orange Piccolo makes complete sense. Piccolo going to his roots is cool, especially with the Namekian Tree Symbol on his back, which stands for the pride and peacefulness of the Namekian. Plus he literally is a dragon ball while in the form. Orange like a dragon ball, and red eyes like stars of the dragon balls. Don’t really understand the hate this form gets.
