I think a bit of an underrated moment is super Buu just fucking flying instantly to gods temple after he killed fat Buu. Gods temple was such a safe space during the Cell and Buu Arc and we didn’t have anyone ready to fight him yet. I was shook to the core after it was revealed that he can now sense Ki and just flew up there instantly without any hesitation.
I grew up with Z/Dragonball and GT 20+ Years ago. There are moments that personally for myself means more that defines the series. I would not argue Goku turning Super Sayian changed an entire genre for 30+ Years. A moment and more particular a Fight in Dragonball that I would objectively put above everything else, when it concerns the characters, the moves, the build up, the story within the Fight, fans perception, and how it affected the overall series going forward. I'd say that Goku vs Tien 22nd Budokai Tenkiachi tournament is the best fight the series had. Extremely hot take I know. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but the fact that the fight had every single style of Dragonball fighting, fron the martial arts foundations, brawling, Ariel moves, ki beams. The Story of Goku the Main character fighting a new character in Tien two fighters from different schools of martial arts, Tien is presented as a threat but it's his morality that's truly being challenged and it's more of his story rather than Goku's. The build up between the two of them. It's the final fight in the Arc so it means more, it's in a tournament setting to declare who's the best. It's Goku's second try winning. It ends on a technicality of Goku hitting the ground first and Tien being declared the winner. Goku lost for the second time, yet it didn't stop him from aiming for the third and final time showing that Goku is a guy that will keep on trying to achievea goal if he setshis mind to it. Tien became a better fighter and man afterwards. The first World life or death ending battle happened directly after with King Piccolo. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea and personally I would put other fights over it, I would. Though objectively, it chalks off every little thing you'd want from a Dragonball Fight where it's basically the Perfect Five Star fight within the series.

I think if we’re going off of fights themselves UI Omen has the better fights. UI Omen Goku vs Kefla has to be the cleanest fights in the TOP, hell I’d say the entire series. Goku and Frieza vs Jiren is the only contender. UI Omen also has a cleaner look to most people since it doesn’t change Goku too much, just his eyes and gives him an aura.

MUI is supposed to be a very calm, angelic look for Goku, and he doesn’t really look like that while fighting Jiren. If you have read the manga, Goku in MUI looks and fights MUCH more angelic in his fight with Jiren and Moro. Aside from the unveiling of MUI in the anime, Goku is fighting pretty normally other than the fact that he’s not talking. That’s just my take but I feel like in every UI Omen fight Goku’s angelic presence is felt much more than in his last fight with Jiren. I mentioned Kefla because while it was a one sided fight, it was done beautifully. From the transformation sequence to the final Kamehameha, it was great from start to finish. A fight doesn’t have to be a back and forth to be good. Another example of a stomp done right in Super would be Gogeta vs Broly, which I feel like is a MUI Goku vs Jiren done better. And no, people don’t hate on rage because of the design. While the design is not the best, rage gets a ton of shit for it being out of the blue, and literally just a bad transformation. Trunks got a Super Saiyan buff that made him go from SSJ3 level to slicing Fused Zamasu in half who was just previously fighting Blue Vegito. And if you actually watch the fight back, his SSR just looks like normal SSJ at some points. Rage is really the only transformation that is just flat out bad.

Gogetas fight was better cause the entire curve stomp the animation was fire and Broly did lands some punches. When he first obtained UI Omen in the anime he used the Spirit Bomb to force his body to break through his own limits. However, that is not everything. In that moment Goku was on the verge of death and being obliterated from that Spirit Bomb, but his strong will to live caused him to remain calm and avoid danger, rather than to rage out and try and face it head on. Goku obtained MUI in the same principle, however it’s a lot more obvious as Whis was narrating the whole time. Goku as he fought Jiren for the second time in UI Omen was becoming accustomed to the way the form works and he was becoming calmer and calmer, which was making him stronger. Ultimately he got to the point where he was so calm and so into the battle his body transformed into the complete UI or MUI, where he can fully attack without thought. If you’ve read through the manga, the way Goku achieves UI omen and MUI is way more realistic. He sees Roshi use a pseudo UI like technique to evade Jiren, which made him recall all his previous master’s teachings, which allowed him to tap into UI. In my opinion while the anime made UI look cooler, narratively the manga did a way better job.

Goku and Frieza vs Jiren is the only contender. UI Omen also has a cleaner look to most people since it doesn’t change Goku too much, just his eyes and gives him an aura.

Let be honest Kefla never had the upper hand against UI Goku 🤣🤣🤣, yes they threw hands but U want to see a fight that doesn’t fell as one sided, like MUI va Jiren, which felt evenly matched. The second statement makes sense but at the same time MUI looks so clean and it makes sense looks wise cause let’s be honest they just say he mastered it and that’s it we would just go “that’s it? Ok…”. Also aren’t you the same people that hate on Rage just because it changed so little? So it’s ok for UI to look just like base but not rage Trunks to look just like Ssj trunks? Ok…
@@A_DecentGamer Personally I feel like Goku using MUI in the anime doesn’t really fight godlike. MUI is supposed to be a very calm, angelic look for Goku, and he doesn’t really look like that while fighting Jiren. If you have read the manga, Goku in MUI looks and fights MUCH more angelic in his fight with Jiren and Moro. Aside from the unveiling of MUI in the anime, Goku is fighting pretty normally other than the fact that he’s not talking. That’s just my take but I feel like in every UI Omen fight Goku’s angelic presence is felt much more than in his last fight with Jiren.
I mentioned Kefla because while it was a one sided fight, it was done beautifully. From the transformation sequence to the final Kamehameha, it was great from start to finish. A fight doesn’t have to be a back and forth to be good. Another example of a stomp done right in Super would be Gogeta vs Broly, which I feel like is a MUI Goku vs Jiren done better.
And no, people don’t hate on rage because of the design. While the design is not the best, rage gets a ton of shit for it being out of the blue, and literally just a bad transformation. Trunks got a Super Saiyan buff that made him go from SSJ3 level to slicing Fused Zamasu in half who was just previously fighting Blue Vegito. And if you actually watch the fight back, his SSR just looks like normal SSJ at some points. Rage is really the only transformation that is just flat out bad.
@@edot_nyc The point of MUI is that Goku loses control of his body, meaning he should still be able to talk cause his body is thinking from its own. Let be honest besides the kamehameha the fight against Kefla was not that memorable or good. It’s just Goku weaving tho pretty cool, the only true good part of that fight was the kamehameha. Gogetas fight was better cause the entire curve stomp the animation was fire and Broly did lands some punches. I know that for a fight to be good it doesn’t need to be even, but it’s way better that way cause of the tension of, who’s going to win? Goku vs Kefla you knew Kefla was cooked. No people like mister mister from this video has stated that the form doesn’t look that good either. He has also stated this with Gohans form which at this point O don’t know what it is called, ssj2 and Rage of course. My opinion MUI had not only one of the best entries in the show, it also had one of the most hype build up and on of the craziest plot twist that no body saw coming at the end of the Goku vs Jiren fight. If you’re going to debate Ui vs MUi can you do one thing for me? Explain how he got the form. MUI made way more sense.
@@A_DecentGamerIn the anime Goku achieves UI omen and MUI in the same way, by calming his heart. However the way he achieves this is different. When he first obtained UI Omen in the anime he used the Spirit Bomb to force his body to break through his own limits. However, that is not everything. In order to actually transform into his UI state he needs to be calm in spite of a shocking situation. In that moment Goku was on the verge of death and being obliterated from that Spirit Bomb, but his strong will to live caused him to remain calm and avoid danger, rather than to rage out and try and face it head on.
Goku obtained MUI in the same principle, however it’s a lot more obvious as Whis was narrating the whole time. Goku as he fought Jiren for the second time in UI Omen was becoming accustomed to the way the form works and he was becoming calmer and calmer, which was making him stronger. Ultimately he got to the point where he was so calm and so into the battle his body transformed into the complete UI or MUI, where he can fully attack without thought.
If you’ve read through the manga, the way Goku achieves UI omen and MUI is way more realistic. He sees Roshi use a pseudo UI like technique to evade Jiren, which made him recall all his previous master’s teachings, which allowed him to tap into UI. In my opinion while the anime made UI look cooler, narratively the manga did a way better job.
