I find it funny that people can see Goku's flaws and hold them against him, but completely absolve her by not mentioning her. Chichi knowingly married an alien obsessed warrior, who's race has very to little care for anything other than battle. And yet expects Goku to behave like a regular guy.

The best written arc in my opinion is the namek saga which the whole concept was getting the dragonballs and the stakes were incredible high and severe. Cast were fighting for the lives just to even wish these. Also applies to the saiyan saga So to say it didn't have stakes AT ALL is crazy.

Just discovered the channel and ngl i like it because unlike many anime and DB channel you actually analyse and go in depth with on top of actually talking about all the facets of the topic at hand. Chi Chi wasn't even that bad in the manga. The anime added so many scenes were Gohan got his ass whooped. The tutor filler is a prime example, shit was actually horrifying. Chi Chi is the type of strict parent a kid sometimes needs, Goku is the type of parent the kids like more because he's laid back and playful.
a lot of the shenanigans with chi chi is primarily toei though, in the sense they dial up her negatives to an 11, just like how a certain group treated Sakura

@@dominiquerobinson8888 he's equally involved if not less actually if you are taking into account actual fighting and not just being on screen. The only arc Tien didn't take part in was namek. But Krillen misses the king piccolo arc, and then doesn't actually fight in the Buu saga where Tien (even though it's very little) does.
Also neither of those things are narrative reason.

Out of the entire series Tien has only been more important in the 2nd tournament and king piccolo in Dragonball. Other than those 2, it’s Krillin who’s the one more involved in every single arc

Furthermore, just being more involved is rarely ever portraying him as powerful, after the Saiyan saga Krillen is rarely shown defeating anyone. What like maybe some freeza soldiers? If being on screen equates you power than Goku and piccolo shouldn't be much stronger than Gohan and Krillen when fighting freeza. If you are just saying it's a favoritism thing, then sure I agree, but what actually happens in the story post Ginyu force does not work in favor of Krillen being stronger.

SSJ3 is the best form as it was done through training not random anger/plot. Vegita was enraged after Trunks death but no SSJ2 for him. Gohan was enraged against Freeza a bunch of times but didn’t get it yet Goten did.
As for UI anyone can get that form not just Saiyans so it doesn’t really count. Furthermore a UI Roshi isn’t the same as a UI Gotenks.

I think people forgot the final fight in buu saga gives off a lot of payoffs for dragon ball
7:36 Piccolo literally tells everyone to not show up to fight with the androids unless they are stronger than the Frieza that touched down on earth. Everyone shows up after their training 3 years of training (minus Chiaotzu) and there is no mention of anyone there being weak.

Correction, UI is a state of mind not a form and Tien’s not entirely human.
The only way a Saiyan can attain Super Saiyan 4 is if he is already a Super Saiyan, can transform into a Golden Great Ape and regain conscious control over the form. This transformation is the ultimate combination of both the humanoid Super Saiyan and the Golden Great Ape. U don't need blood waves or whatever he said so it's the ultimate form

Both GT and Super have great ideas but mid executions and I'm tired of people just bashing on GT for its execution and not saying anything new. Baby is my favorite villain in all of Dragon Ball with his personality, abilities, and arc in how he turns the tables and he did what Zamasu did in becoming what he hated most by the end.
I just find it frustrating Super is in the perfect spot to learn from the mistakes of all previous mistakes but just doesn't improve from them.

11:20 pain arc doesn't make sense as the ending if Kishimoto wanted to end the series more quickly after that he would have had a 3rd Sasuke retrieval arc which would have been redundant, and Konan would have had to either kill Obito or die with him and like Cody Rhodes said it would have "finished the story" because the original Akatsuki was to bring about world peace, because if Obito dies he can not get the rinnegan and Obitos declaration of the 4th war would have fell flat on its face making him look like an idoit which would be ironic because thats how he was introduced.

It has been theorized that SSJ3 can only be attained through special circumstances. I mean let’s see, Goku attained it through being dead, and Gotenks attained it through fusion. Those are the only two to attain it. So technically, SSJ2 is the strongest thing to be attained.

The dragon balls are in fact the biggest plot convenient devices tbh.
