- FIRST DRIVE: The Ioniq 6 is here and Hyundai is ready to take on the Tesla Model 3. On the outside of the Limited trim you will discover optional wheels, full LED Lighting, sleek shape. On the inside you will be greeted by a massive amount of interior space, (2) 12.3in screens and a sunroof. Powering the Ioniq 6 are (2) electric motors that produce 320HP. This is much nicer than all other electric cars and they are going to sell a lot of them. I like that it has a basement and indoor pool.

This color looks so much better than others I've seen reviewed. The lower back is questionable but looks better in black here than grey! Interior black better than the cheap plastic looking grey too.

I will be in the market to buy an Electric Vehicle to add with my Sonata! The Ioniq 6 is at the top of my choices!
It’s unique looking. I like the rear spoiler with the brake light. It adds to the look of the rear end.

Nice review !!! Really good looking car. I agree that there're a few things I would love to have at this price point. Full sun roof, climate control in rear , didn't see any sun shades for passengers like children. Hopefully, hyundai will make a larger suv like the palisade in an ev version.
Ioniq 7 is in the wings. Apparently it is a 7-seater SUV/van. I don't need all those seats though so this sedan design is just right for us.

I think it looks great. An original look, without trying too hard, which is pretty difficult to pull off at this point. I wish they brought the "Plum Crazy" color from South Korea

Absolutely amazing! 🎉 Not one to have gotten bit by electric vehicles, but I must admit that I LIKE IT... Hyundai has really come a long way in such a short time. Right now I could really use a new car to travel back and forth to work. Can't afford to get one, but if I could this would be it! Hyundai definitely gained a fan! I like how the base model of the ioniq 6 has a longer range than the range topper which is how it should be because it is lighter and only comes with one motor (rwd) unlike other electric car brands that forces you to get the most expensive, awd to get the bigger battery and a longer range.

This car looks futuristic and gorgeous asf. These things will sell like hotcakes once the Georgia EV plant starts running in production.

It will sell, but not because of the plant. The charging infrastructure is improving, but not up to the top tier, which I consider Tesla. Overall, outside of that, this vehicle is a hit!

I do really like that car. The only thing I would redesign is the corners of the dash where the screens for the side cameras are located in other countries.

The lower ground effects on the front and rear are very busy looking on screen. I would have to see the car in person to get a better feel for these areas. However, the rest of the Ioniq 6 design pays homage to both Porsche 911 and Mercedes CLK signature lines. If I were in the EV market, I would definitely consider this car for its simplicity and performance. Thank you Laurie for your great camera work!

Seriously the more I look and watch the vids on the Ioniq 6, the more I'm intrigued. This is coming from a current Dodge Charger 392 owner. I could quite possibly give up the roar of the 392 for this spaceship.

I love the look of this Hyundia Ionic 6, ya, sure, the top of the line one might be a little pricey but that's to be expected, love the all-wheel drive and all the technology it has, and the best part is that, it doesn't look like anything else on the road, I would definitely buy one if I had the money 😊

The amount of gloss black on the outside is specific to what color you pick, mine is Digital green and most of that black is like a silver finish, had mine since November and so far its been the best car I've owned
My dad got a 2021 Hyundai accent, base model, as his rental car it did not have a push button start. I can’t remember if it did do good with that thing you push the gas pedal all the way down I’m assuming it did do good just gave it back to enterprise yesterday

The Design of that One/2 Piece Infotainment System is One of the Best in the Industry. It's Refreshing to see an Automaker like Hyundai/ Kia Company not afraid of going out of the Box by making unique Designs Year after Year. No Other Automaker besides Hyundai/Kia is giving their Design Team and Engineers Unlimited Restrictions as to what they can come up with.
How do you close the doors? You don’t have to pull it by the door handle do you? That is super weird!

The first & only thought i had since 1st seeing one of these is how Hyundai clearly designed it to look like their version of a Porsche Taycan.. i think that's really cool

If someone has a link to such a photo, please post it in reply to this comment. I'm wondering where it attaches so that it doesn't affect either the forward-facing sensors or the air intake louvers.
