It helps me a lot I dodged many death and left with 2 hp the heal is like 50 in early just think of it you use it 30 times until level 6 the heal is 1500 in overall it saves you but you don't notice that
Im combination with fleet footwork you can get a lot of healing out of 1 attack

Why is Yorick disliked?
Something they didn't cover about the minions and the Maiden of the mist is that Yorick can summon them out of lane and they'll follow Yorick, attacking whoever he attacks. This can help set up ganks or avoid getting attacked while wandering.
Oh man, what a cool and interesting champion, I hope Riot does something cool with his lore and doesn't completely ignore his existence in favour of some hot chiselled guy they add to the game two weeks before a major lore event :D

I like the new yorick, but I will miss the old one. I liked old Yorick's humble backstory. A gravedigger that has existed well beyond his year that developed epic powers. I feel like each champ lately has been beyond realms of power that people understand. I miss humble champions with humble backstories. That's what made them feel so epic. They had to go through intense trials to be great. They weren't cosmic beings, undead sentinels, or void spawns. They were just dudes that made it to the top through sheer effort and willpower.

Well as easy as it is for people to avoid Shen with most any form of mobility It'll still be hard to actually catch anyone. And he builds bruiser because of how easily he gets kited, I can only imagine what happens when Shen builds AP/AD

Oh Damn, I mained Yorick at release and this Spotlight makes me want to come back because this is an awesome rework.
Those yoricks minions deals more dmg than my whole team combined
with zz rot and ult i can now efficiently replace two of my teammates

You should know this by now.
They release a champion stronger than they should be so bronze will go "Ooh, this champion sounds strong... buy!" then they will nerf the champion in the next patch.
actually hypermobile ranged champs with at least 2 dashes fuck him up so hard (gnar and fiora specifiicaly) like he can't make you take ghoul agro nor lock you down
Thats not true Riven,Bard,Lee are just a few examples of champions that were really weak when they were first released.

So Yorick could be seen a a great character when it comes to pushing lanes when he uses the maiden of the mist. The main thing is to try and summon her up in situations where enemy champions can't put her down since Yorick's Mist Walkers are not only stronger than the minions, but can recover when enemy minions go down.
I might actually consider checking him out. Never really used him previously, but he does looks alot more fascinating to check out now.
as a Yorick main (not the old Yorick) this spotlight helped me a lot and i"m having fun with him.

@@kh2freak1337 not everyone has a good pc to run this game or enough time. Wild rift is much shorter.
I'm a Yorick main. He has been a balance nightmare for a while in the PC game. The only things that keep him in check are his endless list of bugs, the inability to properly micro Maiden, and the fact that he can only splitpush/1v1/skirmish, not teamfight. He's a low elo stomper. His Maiden is so strong that the direct counter is killing her. She can also 1v1 champions *alone* if Yorick is too fed. He's also infamous for being able to take down turrets REALLY fast. If you leave him to be, he will trade two of your turrets for whatever it is that you're doing.
So if he were to be in Wild Rift, they'd have to find a way to balance his Maiden for Wild Rift, and make him work with 2 ghouls instead of 4.

actually, the ult is best in 1v1s... but it is not that OP.
"op",sounds prety weak to me if it's a fairly high cooldown.
The cooldown doesn't even start until the Maiden dies. So if she stays around long, you have to wait a really long time before using it again. And if you're split-pushing like Yorick did in this spotlight, you're basically ult-less while the Maiden is pushing on her own.

Oh boy, what a cool rework, I sure hope he doesn’t get an insane buff in 2021 that would skyrocket his win rates and make his mistwalkers deal 3x the damage when they leap and his q doesn’t deal 500 damage in one hit.

The concept of yorick rework is pretty nice,the damage is nice. However, i want to point out there are some problem on yorick.the tower always kill maiden immediately , it won't make maiden can push the lane by itself. So i think the target of the turret will kill all the minions then kill the maiden may be a better choice.besides that,the ai is a little bit stupid,so i think provide some control on the maiden for the player will be better.maybe only give the instruction to push the lane or follow yorick.BUT,yorick is too weak without the maiden ,the damage will decrease a lot.Can riot give yorick a little changes or buff? IT is too easy to fall off at late game ,the mist walkers are easy to kill . can the mist walkers 's basic attack can lose enemy armour 5% , like the black cleaver ?i think it can be a passive of the R , so it is not that easy to fall off at late game.
