Old league was like Call of Duty 6. Everything was either overpowered or underpowered yet it was still super fun. Nothing beats the fun of playing AP Sion Taric bot, that perma stun with the burst was something else.
lmao stfu, it was way more balanced than it is now, and everything worked. Now there is a limited champion pool, a few champions that are overtuned and have an overloaded kit, and the rest are trollpicks

It's fun how "good memories" that people have is from broken champs like yi ap pressing q and kill 4 enemies
@@marcosalberto3282 thing is that 70% of that rooster was broken to that point. So the real balance came from playing 10 broken champs... And nerfing Irelia hahaha like 250 nerfs between S1 and S2
I miss old Morde so much, he was and would still be the most obnoxious assassin bully. Always makes me cry a little seeing the old can man

I miss old Galio, flashing into a team fight to ult was the most incredible feeling.
Also, I know I played back when those were the graphics, but it is such a weird sense of disconnect seeing them again now.

I miss old Xerath the most tbh. The idea of getting a large amount of stats at the cost of rooting yourself and being a literal turret was really cool to me.

Legit crying internally every time I remember old Graves
I have a lot of fond memories playing old Graves. What a versatile champion he was back then, as he could pretty much be played in all three lanes, either as an ADC, a burst-heavy mid or as a more bruiser-type toplaner. Old Galio was tons of fun too. Like Kassadin, he was a true anti-mage.
Old Sona was also so much better than the current iteration. With her passive auras, giving bonus stats and her passive Power Chord had a delay before firing, making it much more reliable to use with Lich Bane. She had insane burst on a short cooldown too, easily beating out champs like Lux. She was really good into Katarina at the time, believe it or not, and she could one-shot most squishy champs, even some junglers like Master Yi, Rengar and Kha'Zix. Getting 1000+ AP on her was really easy too 😄
Those Xin clips make me realize how much I miss drain tanking being a thing that you could actually do in league.
Literally when I saw that Xin clip I remembered he had a heal and crit every 3rd basic attack. That was really such a ability on him
We need more of these episodes, so many champs that didn't get covered.

throughout these years ive seen rito do stupid stuff all the time from the morde rework to removing tiamat's active but one rework that they did right was pantheon's, i cant think of a single downside to that rework

I started playing sometime before shyvana was released. Still remember a lot from then. Even skipped school with my friends sometimes to go play it together at one of their houses. No regrets at all, fondest times.
I wish ALL reworked champions were reverted back. most of the reworked champions were underplayed, which is what I liked about them. Idk why but I have always liked to play as "off-meta" champs because it felt more rewarding when you carried as them. we seriously need a classic league client
Back in the day when I'm the only one using Talon and Kayle in the whole net cafe shop and after rework everyone's claiming to be Talon and Kayle main and I'm the one who end up having a hard time adjusting to reworked versions.. Such a hurtful moment.
I dunno why they did that to my boy Graves. He was a staple bot lane pick.
I dont play anymore but i'm happy that i was able to play these champions before reworks. Great video brought a tear to my eye

i love the old swain and karma. they can bait enemies with having low health then turning the tables on them.
The old yorick, sion, and mordekaiser were the most fun for me.

Had A Nostalgia and just remembered how old i am played the game when i was 2011/2012 now im almost 18 and still grinding man miss the old days but we definitely get better
its fun seeing other pre-rework champs in another champ's clip, or seeing the mid point of some like that Kogmaw rework clip (its current state is a partial revert)
old old morde, akali and fiora were my go tos way back when. miss em
old poppy was my favorite. I used to play her as full crit with sp, and the strategy was always to put the ultimate on the least dangerous or the support to be able to kill the entire team without taking damage
Diplomatic Immunity. Arguably the most broken (read: overpowered) ability to have ever existed in League's history. 8 seconds of full immunity to damage from anything but the marked enemy. It was much more busted than Tryndamere R and Kayle R combined.
I liked rapid fire kog maw aswell. Kog jungle with the attack speed item into rangeblade and hurican, ramp up your w and just flash in.

I loved old Galio so much. Gragas was also totally awesome burst. Graves was great and is still pretty good but it's just not the same. Ryze was so fun because he was easy stomp

I miss my boy urgot so much. He just became a completely different champ when they reworked him and I just couldn't play him anymore. I know he needed to be reworked but between him and old yorick I'll forever miss my favourite champs.

The nostalgia. I think fiora is the one that i want to play her one more time like how she was back then or galio. I'm not that old, i start playing since s3 i think, when kha'zix was release. But i did watch clip from the oldest day of league after i got into the game.
AP Sion used to be my main wayyyy back. He was super bursty and tanky as well with his shield and once you get lichbane you can instagib anyone in the game!
I do miss the old Urgot. Even though the new one is awesome and I'm level 7 mastery with him. I miss that Q and being able to swap places with an enemy champ, especially under tower. lol!

ngl the reworks made me drop some of my favourite champs. Volibear , Udyr and Fiora. They were the only champs that made me play JG and top which I almost never played in the past as I was a ADC/SP main and craved all in fights.
After the rework , I can't seem to do that as easily anymore .
I'm going to die on this hill. Whoever allowed morde to have a pet ghost dragon is a genius. That was so cool! Also I really liked old Yorick and Urgod 😢

Classic Swain was my best champion by far. I damn near won every match when I played him. He definitely had his hard counters but when picked and played correctly he can be very tough to deal with.

if i'm not mistaken the reason they stopped is widely theorized to be because of elemental rift. nowadays making a seasonal skin for the rift means making seven different seasonal map skins, one for the base map plus one for each element

Oooh. Eve and Twitch with 6 sunfire were bonkers at the time. Twitch Q used to last 60 seconds, and you were actually invisible back then.
That Zac ult was so much more fun
